Description of Work: Removed blockage from drian hole, fixing the problem with ur refrigerator. Came back a few days later when Refrigerator started warming up, which had nothing to do with his previous trip. Gave us an estimate on fixing the fridge, which was about half the price fo a new fridge, so we opted to buy a new fridge. Getting the quote was good, as it helped us with our decision, but it cost us another $85.00.

+ -1 moreOther than the machine not malfunctioning so that the technician could diagnose the problem, the over all experience was good. The technician called me when he was on his way to the house so that the amount of time away from work was minimzed. He arrived on time and came prepared to repair the machine.
Description of Work: My 5 year old Maytag Atlantis washing machine was not cycling properly the day before the service call. On the day of the service call, the washing machine operated properly so the service technician was unable to determine what was causing the problem. He removed the front of the washing machine and saw damage to the base of the tub. He speculated that the timer may be going out as well as the brake. Since the machine appeared to be working for the time being, he explained the costs of repairing what appeared to going wrong with the machine so that I could decide if I wanted to have it repaired or to just replace it. He recommended direct drive washing machines by Whirlpool or Kenmore if I decided to replace the Maytag.

+ -1 moreI can't tell you how good a job this fella did repairing my washer because he wouldn't even come to my house to look at it. The voice on the call-in service told my husband that someone would make a service call between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The repair guy Alan called my house just before 3 p.m. and left a voice mail while I was picking up my kids from school. When I called him back, he explained that the make and model machine we have is a piece of crap and that he "did not want to charge me for the service call" of $79 to come and fix it. I told him that I had no problem paying for the service call and would he please come on and try to fix my machine because it was late on a Friday and I was in a bind. All he wanted to talk about was where I should go to buy a new washer, what brand I should buy, how he didn't want to charge me for a service call and that he was an honest man. And I kept asking him "Can you please come and try to fix it?" After a couple of rounds like this he yelled at me "Get somebody else to fix your g****** machine!" I told him that I did not like his attitude and hung up. My opinion is that Alan was at home when I called him (I heard his dog barking in the background) and just did not want to leave again at 3:15 on a Friday afternoon. I suggest everyone else in town with appliance problems save your time and DO NOT call this company that employs such a lazy, rude, foul-mouthed jerk as Alan the repairman.
