Hefley Swimming Pools

Came to our home and gave us a estimate on constructing a in-ground pool. Price was in our budget and Mr. Hefley said he would start construction in a few weeks. Well the few weeks turned int o a few more weeks which turned into a few more weeks until finally our phone calls were not returned. We basically wasted a full summer waiting on Hefley Pools. Do yourself a favor and dont bother with this jerk.

I was quoted a price to install an Above Ground Pool. $3500.00 to complete the task with landscape. On several occasions they said they would be here and didn't show up. After the pool was level they discovered that concrete blocks should be put in under each piers. they were not and had to go back and put them in. therefore making the pool uneven. I was told there were block under the 3 support poles. I dug around them to find there were not any. I called the company and he said "Oh I lied to you, I didnt put blocks under those I will be out tomorrow to put them in" He came back and put about 3x3 blocks under there and said the reason he didn't put the full block was because the ground was too hard. I told him the instruction said that the blocks should go under the piers up front and he said "don't you know that manuals can be wrong". I called him back out and ask what could be done to correct the problem with the water being un-level. He said I could drain the pool and he would come back out and fix. He said he would not pay to put the water back in. He could not afford it and this was his first above ground pool he has done in about 20 years. I told him I was disappointed and he replied "I'm not going to lose any sleep over you being disappointed". This company has been in business for over 35 years and I trusted the owner. A long time friend. I feel like as a woman I have been taken advantage of and I just want other women to not trust what every Joe blow tells them. Even if they are your friend. I gave him every opportunity to make it right and he has not. There are more details that he lied to me about but this is just the top of the iceberg. I will get another company to make my pool right. I do not want him back to my home.
