Eddy Higgins and his crew at Get Er Done are capable, fast, dependable, and pleasant to work with. They first came in to install wall tile around a new free-standing tub that was already in place. So it was a difficult job because of the obstacle since the new tub had plumbing installed and could not be moved. They finished in about four hours and the job was immaculate, and the price was more than fair. They then hung shelves, upgraded light fixtures, added safety bars, and generally just finished off my entire honey-do list, with no honey required. Again, the work was perfect and quick, and the price was excellent. Then I had them bid on new construction of a 14' x 20' screen porch about five feet off the ground, with lights, ceiling fans, electric receptacles, a roof connected to my house, outdoor lighting, new guttering, pet doors, renovated steps into the garage, and a large apron deck outside the screened area for the grill etc. The bid was, again, more than fair, and they (again) knocked it out in no time flat, just exactly as I had specified. During the job, they painted my wrought iron outdoor furniture, waterproofed my rattan porch furniture, watersealed the decking, and treated the tall steps from the porch to the yard with slip-proof coating. In addition to great skills and an amazing work ethic, Eddy has enormous patience and will listen and make sure he understand just what you want. If one of my ideas was impractical, he explained to me why, and helped me decide a different way to get what I wanted. He and his family members work as a crew, and they communicate very easily among themselves. They are polite and professional, and they really clean up at the end of a job. They come when they say they will and do what they promise to do. They bought high quality materials for the porch. I will be booking them again when the time comes to paint the interior of my house in the next few months.

The jobs have been done very timely and came in at price quoted. He is very professional and his work is top notch. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am to have someone who has so many skills as my house has numerous projects. AAAA++++++++++++

Eddie and his team did a great and very satisfactory job! They had to modify the existing areas to accommodate the appliances as the house was built before such equipment was standard. They cleaned up the area when they were finished. They have done many jobs for me in the past with the same results. I always call Eddie when I need something done, whether it be plumbing, electrical, installation, repairs, etc.

The work was done well, quickly, and the crew cleaned up very well afterwards. They even painted the poles on the outside of the carport making the whole look very professional and bbeautiful.

They didn't even stay a week before they stole our tools, refused to work, and eventually took our money and ran off. We fully plan to take them to court over their horrible work and thievery. We have proof of their thievery through cameras and witnesses. They were absolutely horrible in all aspects of their work. I would strongly recommend that you hire any one but them!

I can not say enough about the fabulous work that was done by Eddie and "the guys"! I've never seen such meticulous work! Every detail was perfect. They were so very friendly and professional! These poor guys worked in 100+ temperatures! Eddie listened carefully to the "plan" I had in my head and made my dreams come true! I can't stop looking at my beautiful deck! I will be calling them for every household need that arises! I also wanted to point out that my calls were returned promptly and professionally. They were here exactly when they said each and every day and worked to leave a perfectly clean environment! (maybe even cleaner than when they got here!)

Eddie and his guys were always on-time, and courteous. The did good quality work framing out a new pantry and installing two new doors.

Eddie was exceptionally prompt, courteous, and efficient. He power washed the deck in one afternoon and returned when it was dry to repair wood pieces that needed replacing, nail pops, and the like. While he worked on the deck, a helper did the moisture barrier. Eddie then fixed the ceiling fan and the front brick steps. The deck looks super and the quality of his work is beyond reproach. Highly recommend him.

Great! They took care of the small projects quickly, but weather held up the roof work for several days. As soon as the weather broke, Eddy and his crew were right on it and finished in a day. All the work was done quickly and efficiently. The cost was very reasonable. Eddy is both professional and personable, We are more than pleased and will call him the next time we need help.

Overall, I highly recommend Get-ER-done. Their work is extremely high quality and they even went out of their way to fix a few things like a sticking door and leaking sink without charging me. They delayed half of our work a few weeks because of weather. We completely understood that was out of their hands but their scheduler was a bit rude when we called to get back on their schedule. They're so busy it took 8 weeks to get them out but their work is good enough I'd say it's well worth it. Only reason I didn't give an A was because of a few communications snafus as well as finding some cigarettes left on my carpet after the work was done.

We needed a gate made for a small fence, a screen repaired for one window, a mini-blind replaced for one window, a cleaning and coating for the roof of our mobile home and a door handle repaired on a storm door. ?Plus there was some clean out- and-haul-away to be done on a small shed. ?Weather held up the roof work for a few days, but as soon as the weather cleared the work was quickly completed. ?The workers were professional and personable. ?We also want to say good things about the lady who handles their phone. ?She is easy to understand and makes sure everyone knows what to expect. ?We will call again.

Communication with Eddy was great! Got my job scheduled quickly and was done professionally. Eddy even went to get replacement parts before he started the job. Very professional, would use his services again.

This is the second time we have used Eddy and it won't be the last. In fact, we have hired him to return and replace the tile flooring in the master bathroom suite in a few weeks. Eddy is pleasant, professional, efficient, responsive and does excellent work. He tried his best to match the ceiling paint over the island in order to save us the expense of having to paint the whole kitchen. However, the paint on the ceiling had aged and it could not be matched. He always cleans the area well when the work is done and hauls off any scraps.

I called Eddy regarding some masonry work after having a new anchor installed for electrical service to my house. I had a number of other services quoted as well. Eddy was very nice and took a mallet up on the roof and tapped some bricks back in place to temporarily keep rodents out until the masonry could be fully repaired. He then looked at all the other work I needed and provided a quote in the neighborhood of $850. I was content with that as the work could be completed in 1-2 days and he agreed to be there the following week to perform the work. The following week I received a call from Eddy's wife informing me the job he was on got behind and he would not be there as scheduled. She said they would be in touch in a few days to reschedule the work. I never heard from them again. Perhaps he had a bigger job come up and my $850 job was no longer appealing. Fair enough. But to quote someone a job and time to be there only to completely disappear without a trace is unacceptable. I'm reminded of this today and only placing the review now as I still need some of the work I required at that time and came back to Angie's List to search for a handyman only to have Get-ER-Done as the top recommendation.

Mr. Higgins and his crew were very professional, showed up on time, got the job done right! Everything turned out just as I imagined! Excellent work!
