Mr. Flippo didn't provide any safety equipment for his workers at all, resulting in one of the workers sliding off the roof. Luckily he wasn't injured, but he never returned. Thereafter, we provided ropes for the crew ourselves if they wanted to use them. Most all the work was done by a Foreman & 2 workers. The workers changed on almost a daily basis but all seemed to be inexperienced at best. Upon completion of the work & payment in full to Flippo Roofing, when the next rains came, it was discovered we had leaks - lots of leaks. Overall, there were about 9 persistant leaks, some around the chimney, some around the dormers, & some at the bathroom vents. We had leaks where we'd never had leaks. We wound up w/water stains on our ceilings & walls in spite of all our efforts. We would call Mr. Flippo regarding the leaks & he would send the Foreman & a crew to fix it. We had tarps draped all over our attic, plastic storage bins in the attic to catch drips, & still it continued. We started keeping a log of the trips made to fix the leaks & the amount of time they spent here (from when the truck turned off til it turned on again to leave). There were eighteen (18) trips we documented & the shortest one was thirteen (13) minutes. Bear in mind they were coming from Winfield to Vernon which takes at least 30 minutes each way! It got to the point Mr. Flippo wouldn't answer the phone. So we started calling him from other phone numbers so he wouldn't know it was us. He picked up each time, but wasn't pleased to hear my husband's voice. We finally realized there would be no satisfactory outcome to these repairs. We were stressed every time the weather turned nasty & couldn't even take a vacation for fear of what might happen while we were gone. We contracted w/another roofer who turned out to be extremely professional. He had to replace an entire section of roof in order set things right. He also replaced the bathroom vents to correct those leaks. We had to also replace the siding on the dormers as Flippo's crew had totally messed them up too. Luckily we found a good contractor for that job also. Our total repairs for roof & siding was right at $4800.00. In July 2012, we filed suit in Small Claims Court. We did not have an attorney but represented ourselves. We won our case in District Court in September 2012. On Sept. 28, 2012, he appealed to Circuit Court, asking for a jury trial in Lamar County (Vernon). There were two pre-trial hearings held over the next year. He was a no-show at both hearings. On August 5, 2013 we were awarded our judgement in Circuit Court, which he also did not appear at. It is up to us to collect the judgement & we doubt we'll ever see the $5000.00 we were awarded, but we're going to do our best. Randy Flippo is unprofessional, has absolutely no pride in his business, & would just as soon screw you over as look at you. He is a crook & a fraud in our eyes. I cannot stress enough: DO NOT USE THIS CONTACTOR FOR ANY JOB, ANY WHERE, ANY TIME!!

Don't let them darken your door or anyone you care about!

They did the work as they said. Had to call them back twice for leaks and other problems. The last time we had another leak 2weeks ago they never returned our calls.

They started the work when they said they would. It took them about 3 days to complete. When they left they cleaned up some of the mess that was made to do the job. We found a lot of cut metal and screws on the ground that they failed to clean up. I had to go over the ground where we drive our car with a large magnet to pick up screws and metal that could have gotten into the tires of our car. One month after they completed the work, it rained. We had a bad leak in the kitchen where there had not been a leak previous. I called them out. They came in a short time. The owners son came in and looked at the damage to the ceiling. He and another man went to the back of the house. In a short time they left. They didn't say anything to us. I called several times but they have yet to return my calls. This has been almost two weeks. Do not employ this company. They do not stand behnd their work.
