They arrived as quickly as possible, within 30 minutes of our emergency. They resolved all issues promptly and we felt were very reasonable considering it was an emergency call after hours. Very friendly too.

Not a christian company. Trying to get hot water heater replaced; estimate increased from the night before until the next morning by phone. Provider was to be here @ 9 and still hadn't showed up @ 10:30. Provider called city inspector to harrass the person that actually fixed the hot water heater. Just not the type of company I would like to do business with or pay to do any type of job.

Excellent personal service. The owner is very involved in making sure you have an excellent experience. i have used them several times in the past, and will highly recommend.

The service was very fast and it was over and done in a few minutes

Good. Technician affirmed unit was low on freon, isolated the leak to the inside coils, and gave several options for repair. I ended up taking the option that included a liquid designed to plug the leak and refilling the unit with refrigerant.

I called shortly after 9 am on a Saturday morning. Victoria and Terry were very pleasant and explained that their regular plumber was not available but that Terry would come out in about an hour. It ended up being 4:30 pm before he arrived, but it was a Saturday and I understood the difficulties in juggling different commitments that day. I would have preferred a bit more communication and not waiting all day thinking that someone could arrive at any time, but again, I only called that morning, and it was the weekend. When Terry arrived he was very professional and friendly and explained why it had taken him so long to arrive. He looked at the sink and explained that many houses in my area had kitchens that drained into the yard instead of the septic system and if that was the case he might not be able to clear the pipe just by snaking it, and it could be a big job to replumb. He just wanted us to know before paying for work that might not solve the problem, but he thought it was worth a try. It took him a couple of hours with a couple of different approaches, but he was finally able to get the line cleared and confirm that it is tied into the septic/sewer line.He also took care of another small leak in one of the bathrooms. I was very pleased with the work, and was glad to not have had to wait until Monday. The charge seemed very reasonable for a weekend call. I have some other non-emergency work that I plan to have done as well.

They called to reschedule my appointment for the next day from 1-5. At 5:50, no plumber had arrived, and I had not heard anything from the company. I called, and the woman told me she would find out what was going on. She called back and couldn’t get in touch with the original plumber, but had a call into another plumber who was finishing a job and would call me back “in a couple of minutes.” He finally called 30 minutes later and was at least 30 more minutes from my house (which would be 7 pm). The plumber seemed professional and asked for information about my leak. Since he was checking to make sure I was home before coming, he clearly had not been told that I had been waiting for a plumber for 6 hours. I complained to the office and stated that I didn’t want to to business with this company in the future, and I wanted to cancel the service contract that I had with them for my heating/AC, which seemed fairly reasonable to me given the lack of professionalism. The woman in the office stated that “if I was canceling my service contract, she was canceling the plumber.” I was shocked, and I chose not to do any business with a company that tried to extort their clients. I contacted another local plumber who was able to send someone out the same day.

Call #1 on Sat = very friendly, but no access to a schedule. Told to call back on Monday. Call #2 on Monday = very friendly and a service call is scheduled between 8 and 11 am. Two people arrived around 11 am (don't you hate waiting?) and looked at what needed be done. Both were ready to leave 10 minutes later and since they were not able to start work (it was a "2 to 3 hour job") we rescheduled for 8:00 am Tuesday. Tuesday arrives ... I wait for 45 minutes and my wife waits for another hour before the personnel arrive at 9:40 am. The work was completed by 11 am. We were given a bill for $379 ($89 service call included). Aside from the $89 service call fee (which should have been waived) all in all an OK (yet expensive) experience. The cost might have been somewhat higher if I had not already purchased the tub and shower faucet trim kit ... around $470.

W needed a brand new air conditioning system (heat pump) as our system was 40 years old and our power bill way over our budget. We called around, got estimates and inspections from other companies, as well as did some research on the internet. We decided to go with this company. From the first meeting with the "comfort service" person to the end of installing the system, this company and its employees were very knowlegable about their product, they were professional, polite and seemed concerned with our problem. They went right to work as soon as they got there, explaning what they were going to do and how they were going to handle it. It took all day for this job but well worth it! We were completely impressed by the technicians that installed our new system. They knew what they were doing. Our old system was so loud that you had to turn the tv up to listen to it when the system came on, and sitting outside you couldn't talk to others for the outside unit was so loud you had to yell to each other when it was running. Our new system purrs quitely and puts out great air, very comfortable now. We will definately use this company for any other projects in the future. They know their stuff!

I paid $500 to buy the heater & have it delivered. They then decided that they needed to do a few other things to install it which cost me an additional $500. I wouldn’t use them again.

Their service was very good and they got the issue fixed. They are very professional. I would recommend them and use them in the future.

I called 2 days prior to my appointment about a toilet running and was told they could see me on Friday between 1 and 5. I took off a half-day from work so I could be there to let them in. At 5 they still had not called or come by so I called them. I told them I had to be somewhere at 6 and the lady on the phone sounded perturbed and I asked her if they could do this on Saturday and she really didn't sound pleased with that but said they would try. Needless to say, Saturday came and went with no call or visit. I called someone else and they fixed the problem easily. I know I won't hurt their business, but they won't get any recommendations from me and if anything, I'll warn people not to use them.

The technician was nice enough, but the office staff was rude, difficult, and did not communicate with me regarding an appointment. Overall, it was a very aggravating experience. I will not use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Our kitchen disposal sprung a leak and we couldn't even run the water or it was flooding the cabinet underneath, 5 hours before our company was to arrive for dinner! My husband was having a reunion with one of his army buddies from Iraq, who were passing through town as he was taking his family to the beach, and I was preparing dinner and I needed my kitchen sink! I called General Plumbing and they came out right away on a Friday afternoon and installed a new disposal in 15 minutes, so I could finish preparing dinner for 10!

The secretary told me that the service man would not be able to come to my house until after lunch but Darryl made it before 10:00 AM and diagnosed my problem within 10 minutes and gave a very reasonable price to repair my appliance. And now my refrigerator is cooling again.

After spending over a week trying to get this problem fixed, General Plumbing got the job done in one day.

The technicians were professional and courteous. They fixed the leaky shower and gave us a military discount too. I would call them again!

Told me what was wrong what it would cost, how long it would take and he stayed and finished the work with no interruption. It wa about a 5-6 hour job. very pleased with Terry's service at General Plumbing would definately call him again.

It went great! They responded quickly, even on a Friday late afternoon. They had the faulty heating element out and a new one in very professionally and efficiently.

They were prompt and were good about explaining what they were doing. The price was reasonable, they did a lot of extra work bringing everything up to code without adding a lot to the bill.

Fixed everything and was great. Would definitely use again!

I was very impressed with General Plumbing. From my initial phone call, I knew I was dealing with a company that believes in providing outstanding customer service. Brandy answered the phone with a wonderfully cheerful and professional greeting. When Terry Jones (master plumber and president of company) and his apprentice arrived, I was really impressed with their professionalism. They arrived when they said they were going to, found the leak (inside the toilet), wore protective foot coverings to protect our floors, explained everything they were doing, answered my numerous questions about adding a fuel efficient water heater, and were genuinely friendly throughout the entire visit. I told them how impressed I was. As if that weren't enough, I received a coupon for $25 off the next visit and a fridge magnet. Brandy even called me the next morning to make sure I was completely satisfied. A+++++++
