NORTON'S FLOORING OUTLET

Description of Work: I engaged the services of Charlie Norton, and one of his installers Avery Kennedy to install Trafficmaster Allure Vinyl Plank flooring in my living-dining area and hallway. Even though Norton's actually sells flooring, I had actually pre-purchased this particular flooring from The Home Depot in LaGrange, Georgia, and I asked them to do the installation as a favor to me. They normally do not install product that they do not sell. However, they did agree to lay the flooring.

Description of Work: Norton's installed a VCT tile floor in our church's new fellowship hall. We paid for moisture barrior and had the floor sealed and waxed. After approximately one year, the tile were bowed and you could pick them off the floor with no resistance. Our pastor called them and they would not respond. He went to their store and they never would come to the church to see the problem. We recently decided to do our old fellowship hall in VCT tiles and had Norton's come down for an estimate and showed their saleman the problem on the "older" floor. The owner said he may see if they could do something IF the church would help on the expense. Meaning the church was suppose to pay a second time. The owner said times were tough and they couldn't handle the expense if they had to replace the whole floor. They tried to say it was the church's fault as we must of used too much water to wash the floor with or mositure got under the tile. We have insulation under the floor and plastic on the ground under the flooring installed. We also asked other tile installer what they thought of the problem and they all said that the tile was not installed properly. That the installer probably did not wait long enough for the glue to adhere to the tile. What ever the problem is -the fact is our new floor is not sticking! and Norton's will not come and fix without the church paying for another installation.
