It was good. The staff was nice and they were good. The price was reasonable.

The project was done in two phases, and went really well. North Alabama Builders is focused on customer satisfaction and delivering a quality product. With work being done around the holidays, they were sensitive to our timing concerns and made sure that the work was completed and the house in order prior to the arrival of family. I was also impressed with the quality of the subcontractors, especially the painting subcontractor, who was the best painting professional I have ever seen. His attention to detail was amazing.

It?s not too often that I write about a company to say how impressed I am with their service?but all I have to say is WOW. North Alabama Builders exceeded my expectations in every way possible. We worked the entire project through the company's owner, Brent. I was extremely impressed with Brent and his thorough inspection of the property, existing deck structure, listening to the vision/needs we had for the new deck and execution of the project. Brent continuously updated us throughout the project and stood behind his work in every way possible. The original estimate was very detailed and provided exactly what work we agreed upon. I was happy to see all the details in the estimate and it further provided me with confidence that Brent thought through all the details of the project. He executed exactly as he stated he would. We even ran into some issues with our existing structure (rot underneath a old door) and expanded the scope of North Alabama Builder's work. His team responded without any issues to the additional scope we added. Even with the additional work we added, Brent stayed within the budget he estimated. Additionally, there were a few details where Brent and his team went above and beyond what was in the estimate - such as painting the internal wall and trim where an old door was removed and replacing some boards in the bottom deck to make it look completely finished. We did not expect this and we were excited to see this attention to detail. We left Brent and his team with a key since we were not able to be home for the entire project. We never even thought twice about this. I would highly recommend North Alabama Builders. We were thrilled with the work and would use him again in a second.

/13He was very professional, very friendly and kind...He took pictures saying that he used them to work out the dynamics and to figure out the estimate....I gave him a week to call me back......He never called...I called him and he said that he had had problems with his computer and the pictures and could I give him a couple of more days...I agreed.....A week had passed and no word. I waited a couple of more days and still nothing...I have called him twice since and he doesn't answer my calls... I left one message saying I wondered if my house had a hex on it or something since noone ever called back with the estimate. I had explained to him when he came out to look at the house, how I had called 3 or 4 contractors and they never called back....so I became a member of Angie's List to get a reputable contractor, hoping that he would be the one......

They were prompt & professional, but their estimate was high compared to others.

It went very well. We were very pleased with the craftmanship and professionalism. We were given several options for screening in the porch with drawings and costs. Our only complaint was the workers throwing their cigarette butts in our front yard. The final caulking took longer than expected, but overall we have been very happy with the end result. Although I felt the cost was somewhat high, we did get the craftmansip we were wanting.. It definitely added to the appearance and enjoyment of our home. .

North Alabama Builders was excellent but we had some family problems that caused us to delay. They were very thorough when they're going through the estimates.They were very creative in designing our kitchen because that's what we were going to do. It ended up in a place where we had some problems with our finances that we don't have to keep that money in reserve. It was a good experience.

The work was excellent. There were no problems. When they found out they didn't have to replace the plywood on the roof, they did some extra things like put some vents on the roof. They didn't have to do that.

I recently chose NORTH ALABAMA BUILDERS to do some renovations to my home. I had been under the stress of finding a quality company to allow into my home and discussed this with a friend. She introduced me to Angie's List where I found NORTH ALABAMA BUILDERS, and I am very glad I did. They renovated my entire master bathroom which included moving two walls to enlarge the area. I am now able to utilize my bathroom and will be able to continue to in the twilight years of my life. They added a sunroom to the back of my home, which has brought in much needed light in the area. I look forward to enjoying this area in the sunshine of spring and summer as I use it as a sewing area. They also installed custom crafted hard wood in my living room and dining room that looks spectacular. I have had several friends comment on the uniqueness of the floor and the absolute attention to detail in the laying of this product. They are a professional group of people with a great sense of humor.I have already and will continue to gladly recommend them to everyone I know. Outstanding quality. Often the price is high to even a bit off-putting, but the quality, workmanship, knowledge, ability and the fact that they get the job done right is worth it. The only builder in the area who completely stands behind his work. If you think anything is even mildly off, they're back in a flash to correct it at no extra charge. We had some new doors put in for which the company hardware was working ideally, they fixed it. We needed to redo the kitchen but the cabinet headers were not finished before prior owners wallpapered, so they handmade new veneers and fixed it. Our dining room walls were not perfectly straight,, so they custom fit crown molding and chair rails and it looks perfect. Save money in the long run and do it right first by using these guys.

The employees were courteous and on time. I waited for the phone call with the estimate. It came a week after the visit, which seemed long to me. They offered to come out and explain their estimate to me and to go over details. I had solicited other estimates in the meantime. I asked for a total to compare it to other estimates since cost was going to be a major factor in my decision. NA Builders was almost $1000 higher than another estimate. Mr. Davis called me personally to explain that they took special care in preparing estimates to make sure that everything was correct.

I had 15 new windows, new shingle roof, bathroom completely redone and two rooms painted.

the overall experiences have been fine. Since I live 5 hours away I have to trust my service provider and Brent Davis has performed well and handled any issues personally to my satisfaction.

They have done work for us before so we asked them to give us an estimate on the work needed which included repairing the outdoor steps and restaining part of the cabin. They did what they said they would do and did it when they said they would. The work was high quality and they communicated well with me during the process. They actually did more than what we had we had agreed on. I was pleased with the work and will use them again in the future.

This company had installed some hardwood floors in my home and repaired some deck columns approximately 10 years ago and did a great job. Most recently, the work that I initially hired them for involved repairs to a ceiling and bathroom caused by water damage. They did such a good job that I decided to hire them to perform some other remodeling work that I had been putting off. NAB performed the following work: Repaired water damage to walls and ceiling caused by a plumbing leak, Repaired plumbingRepaired electrical problems, Remodeled Kitchen-which included refinishing cabinets, installing new granite counter tops, rebuilding a center island, installing custom made hardwood tile flooring, Painted entire interior - and by the way this company has the best painting team around, Replaced all windows and exterior doors, Installed custom built hardwood flooring in several rooms and installed regular hardwood flooring throughout the remainder of my home, finished out my Attic and built a 10 foot cedar storage closet, Repaired roof leaks, pressure washed exterior and sealed windows, pressure washed and sealed outdoor deck, Painted exterior and Rebuilt a rock retaining wall. What started out as a small repair project, turned into a big project and I could not be happier with the results. It can be daunting to continue living in a home when it is undergoing a major overhaul, however, NAB worked to insure that we were caused as little inconvenience as possible. They were very professional and courteous. They showed up when they said they would. They left a clean work area each day. They performed quality work. This is the company that I will call upon for any future repair or remodeling needs and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Brent Davis and his team at North Alabama Builders provide professional quality remodeling and renovation. The service provided by this company includes everything from complex remodels, additions, window replacement, flooring, painting, electrical and plumbing repair. North Alabama Builders has basically remodeled and performed repairs over my entire house. Brent and his team worked with me to create unique custom flooring for my home, consisting of hardwood tile which was designed and built by Brent’s company. Brent surrounds himself with a team of honest, hardworking individuals. I never hesitated to leave them alone in my home and they respected and protected my furnishing during the remodel. They have done and absolutely beautiful job on my home, greatly increasing its value. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering or in need of repairs or additions to your home. In fact North Alabama Builders is currently working with me on the design and building of an outdoor kitchen area.

Brent, Ben, and Joe all did a great job in removing our old windows and installing our new windows. They were very professional and considerate. They did a good job of communicating with us as to when they would be there and as to how they would perform the work. Ben did an excellent job of making sure that we were happy with how the windows were installed, how the trim (brake-work) looked, and answering all of our questions. They worked a partial day on 5/25 (set-up day and installed three windows). They installed most other windows and began installing metal trim on 5/26. On 5/27, they installed the last window and finished metal trim installation. These guys do all types of construction and remodeling work. I will definitely consider using them for any future work, and would highly recommend them to others.
