Michael has repaired several appliances for us in the past. He is always prompt, neat, and friendly. It didn't take long for him to assess the possibilities that were causing our problem. Although he didn't have the parts with him, he was able to quickly locate them at a supplier downtown. Within an hour, Michael had driven to pick up two parts and was back at our home. Luckily for us, the bad part that needed replacing was the cheaper of the two possibilities. Including the hour he drove downtown and back, he had our washer repaired under two hours at a very reasonable charge of $209. Just felt price was a little high, he missed a part & was going to bring it back but he never showed. He was prompt 1st couple of visits.

Our dishwasher started leaking. We called & searched all over northport & Tuscaloosa for a repair person. No one beat their price. There was a $60 estimate, but if he had to do any labor it would be deducted from the charge. It was late when we found night owl on the web. We pleased to see that it was not an additional charge for late night service. My husband and I called and Micheal the owner came over around 9pm. Despite the hour he was very nice and friendly. Although he told us something we didn't want to hear- the water valve was bad and that we needed to probably buy a new dishwasher due to the replacement part being $140 and the age of the dishwasher. Micheal informed us on which dishwasher to buy based on his experience. He also explained that he started his business by working several simultaneous jobs-health field, delivering pizza and repairing applicances. Since my husband and I know nothing about dishwashers his information was very helpful and needed. We will definitely call on Night Owl if we ever need any appliance repairs.

Came out after work so I didn't have to take anytime off and came out the same day I called. I would use them again just for the convenience and quick response time.

Great communication, were very flexible schedule wise. Arrives a little late but was called several times updating me as to progress. Problem was found and repaired immediately. Very professional and courteous service. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately the repair was going to cost nearly what a new stove would cost, so I opted to look for a new stove (I really wanted a new one anyway). Michael even tried to call an appliance dealer and get me a new stove the next day, but because it is gas, that is not possible. He was extremely polite, pleasant and went out of his way to help me. And to have someone to call that doesn't make you take a day from work and wait all day,is a blessing. In addition, you don't pay a high fee for nights and weekends.

Service call is flat $49.99 regardless of time of day, weekend or weekday. In less than 10 minutes he was able to determine that my dishwasher wasn't worth fixing. Unfortunately my dishwasher had broken seal which lead to corroded motor plus timer had gone bad. He didn't try to sell me parts, etc., that would have cost more than a new dishwasher. Had there been a single problem he could have fixed it for a reasonable price.
