Although we originally made contact with his wife, we ended up working with Joe Watkins, owner of this agency. Joe is the consummate professional. He took the time to have a long sit-down conversation with us, listened to our needs, understood our intentions with this purchase, and made the process as smooth as possible. He recommended other professionals from mortgage officers to home inspector--yet made sure we understood we had the right to choose whomever we wanted. He kept check on the repairs being done on our house as we were 5 hours away. Every time any detail arose, Joe was available through phone or email and made sure we understood what was happening, what was important, and what was just "paperwork." He even gave us a gift at closing! In addition, Joe is a gentleman. As a female, I was a bit nervous about driving around town with a man I didn't know so I took a friend with me. Joe opened doors for us; he spoke respectfully, politely, and without a hint of profanity. Not only was there no discomfort, but I felt like I was making a friend. Anyone needing a real estate professional in Montgomery should talk to this office. Joe is the owner/broker and doesn't usually do for clients what he chose to do for us. But with Joe at the helm, I am confident any agent would provide excellent service.
