This account was a fleet charge account. This means that we would repair their vehicles as needed and the bill could be paid at any point over the next 30 days. All of a sudden when we are no longer in business, they think they don't have to pay for work already performed. We did a lot of work for Mike we never even charged him for over the last 5 years, not to mention we never charged storage or late fees when the vehicles were not picked up in a timely manner and the bills were not paid on time. We sent invoices in October for the work that was done back in September, we have called numerous times, and we have gone to their office several times attempting to collect money owed. We have been given the run around each time. First, we were told the invoices have to be approved for payment by some "board" in Birmingham. Then we were told the girl who writes checks was out for spring break. Then we were told the check was in the mail and could be picked up next week. Then we were told the check was in the mail to our address. Finally after refusing to leave their establishment one day, we were all of a sudden informed that they were not wanting to pay because of a discrepancy in the invoice and the original estimate. The estimate was actually more than the invoice! After explaining in detail the adjustments made to arrive at the final bill, we were told the "board" would have to approve the invoices again but never received a call back. We ended up having to go to drastic measures to try and collect on what was owed but they still refuse to pay coming up with more excuses. If we continue to be put off with excuses and lies, then we will have to sue in court. It is absolutely ridiculous to work hard for someone that doesn't want to pay for services they received when the time comes, especially from a company with the name of a book in the Bible!
Description of Work: We were the shop that repaired vehicles for Psalms. We did a lot of quality work for Mike at a decent price. We recently had to shut down our business and now Mike thinks he doesn't have to pay.
