+ -1 moreNot only was Hodges unable to complete the work (a big issue), they were very disrespectful of my time (an equally big issue). They arrived over 7 hours late for appointments, when they chose to show up at all. Also, between Louisa in the office and Kendrick Hodges, they were unable to coordinate schedules. I had to follow up with them on many occasions, with limited response. I ultimately told my warranty company that if they sent Hodges out to my home again, I would call the police and file trespassing charges. I would not wish them on my worst enemy! For a company like Hodges to force a customer go without air conditioning for 4 summer months in Alabama, without any sense of urgency, is outrageous.
Description of Work: Costs approx since repairs paid for by American Home Shield warranty. It took 4 summer months to get my A/C fixed, and Hodges was not the company that fixed it. 1st visit (MAY): they showed up at 5:30pm for an 8-10am appointment. 2nd visit: replaced air compressor, and it didn't work. 3rd visit: added Freon and that didn't work. Another company come out and said Hodges had put a 3 ton compressor in a 2 ton unit, so it would never work. Hodges was going to replace the air compressor again, but no-showed for the appointment. (The guy who replaced the Freon had quit, so they didn't have anyone to do the work). A simple courtesy call would have been nice, since I took a vacation day to wait for them. My warranty company forced me to reschedule and use Hodges to replace the compressor again. It didn't work. Ultimately, I got a new capacitor from another company & a new evaporator coil from another company. Had air early OCTOBER.
