All went very well! Great customer service, answered all my questions, explained the details of the process.

We had a lease on another house, waiting for the loan to close on this house. Somebody came in and took all of the copper plumbing from the house, as well as the heating and air. We had dealt with several people in getting estimates. I got most of the companies off of Angie's List. Some wouldn't show. Some wouldn't give an estimate. Some refused to put it in writing. Some were just silly. One tried to charge $300 for an estimate. This company was just excellent. I've had a situation where he hasn't shown up within an hour of me calling. When the people took the copper pipes, they actually shook them and caused some damage. This company came back and fixed that at no charge. One of my estimates was for $10000. This company did the job for $1800. I like everything about them. They are here when they say they are going to be here. They do it for a fair price. They do good work. If anything isn't done right, they fix it.

Could not have been better. We had the wretched stink of dead animal coming through our heat duct. I thought it was near one outlet because that was where the odor was. However, in speaking with Greg Wyatt, it was explained that the strength of the odor in a single vent meant nothing and that the carcass could be anywhere it the system. He was absolutely correct because when they came out they immediately discovered that a bird had gotten into the fan and been chewed up. He had quoted a price of $470 to clean our ducts, however because there was standing water under house and because the crawl space is so limited, they were not able to gain access to the ducts to do the cleaning. But they were able to clean the unit which they said was as dirty as they had seen. They cleaned and sanitized the unit and only charged $150! When the crew first arrived, my wife was concerned because they seemed really young - like high school. (I was not able to be home.) When they left, she said they really knew what they were doing, she "felt safe" and that they were really "sweet guys". She felt they were really looking out for our best interests. Now a little more background: After getting an estimate from Norrell (see my report for them) for over $3,000, I spoke with Greg Wyatt at Filter Service Co. I immediately felt I had a man I could trust from the start. He explained the pros and cons, mostly cons, of everything Norrell tried to sell me. He said he would be happy to install any of what they recommended but explained to me why he thought it was a waste of money.

They arrived on time and took care not to tear anything up with their equipment. The house has less dust overall, and they recommended several things we could do to keep the ducts clean.
