Lisa and Darren were excellent real estate agents taking an ENORMOUS amount of their time to help me find just the right house. I live out of state so much of our interaction had to be through email and over the phone. When I was able to travel to Tuscaloosa to look, it was only on the weekends, and they each took time out of their weekends with their families to take me around to a dozen or more houses that I wanted to see. They prepared comps, showed us various neighborhoods, and explained everything in the greatest detail which is exactly what I needed. They were superb, and I would use them again in a heart beat.

I've worked with Debbie Nero from Advantage Realty for November 2009 through January 2010. She was my second realtor and when I got to her I was pretty straight about what I wanted and I got her through my bank. They had a realty program for home buyers. Advantage Realty was one of the two companies that participate in the program. I specifically requested a realtor who was a service member, a family member or very familiar with the military. She was the one that I have chosen out of the office. She was very forthright, we got to know each other really quickly. I made it very clear "if I want to do something and you think it's not appropriate you got to tell me but I need to understand why you don't want me to do something." She was always straight forward. No matter how crazy things got, she never put me straight to voice mail or email, she was always available for a phone call. She was absolutely great. I needed people with an opinion and she he had an one. She gave me a gift during the closing. The best part about her was her forthrightness and I didn't have to deal with two cards all the time. She understood my needs, legality work and she was honest about them. It was a pleasure. She was what I anticipated and I just wish I had gotten to her first. She's got punctuality down, she's courteous and she goes with your personality. I recommend her to everybody who says they're buying a home.
