Trimm Landscapes and Designs

They did amazing work!! Can't say enough about the team that worked on our yard. We have a 170Ib dog that loves to run outside and our yard remained a mud pit, but the Trimm landscape team worked wonders! The drainage system keeps our yard dry and the enclosure gives our dogs a separate area. They worked with us on price and adjusted to where we needed to be.

Our yard has several large trees and Trimm planted emerald zoysia where grass could grow and a variety of scrubs that bloom different times of the year . For example knockout roses, oakleaf hydrangea, French hydrangea, drift ropse, George tabor azalea, and camellia sasanqua. Trimm Landscapes did a good job.

This project went WAY over budget. by almost $ 20,000. They would add something to project without discussing it and then charge for it. We had an estimate prior to starting and they would try to charge for things they said were extra, but were in our initial discussions They destroyed our driveway then charged to replace it. Project took full 10 months longer than promised. They would come for a couple of days, then not show up for a month. Not responsive to phone calls at all. Much of the job was done sloppily and had to be redone. Even then, was not done well. We had to fight all the way to get this finished and done even in a passible condition. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

They did a good job at what they did but they made a mess out of our yard in the process. We still have two long trenches in our yard way where the parked and moved materials a year and a half later.

The representative came when he said he would but 2-3 telephone calls were needed to get the estimate. I went with another company because of the quoted cost and the difficulty getting the information from the representative.

It went very well they were very thorough

Tommy Trimm & his Supervisor Todd were thoroughly professional throughout each of these four sequential projects over a three month period. They did what they said they would do in a timely fashion. Their employees were professional, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They clean up the work area after they finish and replaced all the grass in the yard. My calls were promptly returned. One construction error was corrected in a reasonably timely fashion. They worked well with my long time personal contractor who was doing additional work in parallel with these four projects. They listened to his unsolicited inputs and adopted most of his ideas and suggestions.Thy worked with me in desining and implementing my creative ideas on the dock. Friends and neighbors are all commenting about how beautiful everything looks. They have set a new standard for work in this neighborhood ( Baneberry Lake in Riverchase).

The crew extended the wall and added the crushed rock, but neglected to install the fabric. They had to come back, remove the crushed rock, install the fabric and replace the crushed rock. During construction, the bobcat they used cut deep trenches across the front yard. We withheld full payment until this was corrected. Over the course of a week the crew installed sod in the trenches. Final payment was then made. Based on this and previous experience, Trimm overall does good work. Tp their credit, they did make corrections promptly and without fuss. Like any company, you have to keep an eye on them and bring any problems to their attention promptly.

They did a great job. They did a lot of work. They built up as we were having a flow problem in our back yard so they completed re-sided it. They pulled off all the Day lilies from all the flower beds and then they re-arranged the beds along the boarder. That is what I wanted. They replanted everything. On the other side they built trellis, moved another trellis and they put out some plants which included the plants that were there and also the plants that they provided as well.

I am dissatisfied with the service, lack of professionalism, and poor customer service offered by Trimm.

Tommy Trimm came out and gave an estimate. We walked through everything that would be done. He took notes, gave an immediate rough estimate and followed up later the same day with an exact estimate. We agreed that some things would be best decided along the way and couldn't necessarily be designed in detail at the start. I trusted them to do the best at each step and they did. All aspects of the job came out better than we could even imagine. Tommy did call with major decisions along the way for our input. It was a pleasure to do business with someone that did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and at the cost they estimated. I rated them all As except for cost, which I gave a B. Based on other estimates, I think the price was good and was a fair price. I may have been able to get the work done a little cheaper. But, I am certain that if I had gone in that direction, the overall quality, timeliness, professionalism, responsiveness, etc. would not have been the same. Personally, geting what I wanted without any problems was well worth it.

I called the owner and he met me to provide an estimate. About two weeks later they came over to begin work then came back about a week later to finish. They did a pretty good job for the money that I paid.

This time they were good. My husband has called them before and they haven't gotten back to us. They did a good job on this particular job.

The guys that came and did the job were fantastic and the crew was better than any that we have worked with, but the men that run the company are not impressive and I would not work with them again.
