It turned out fine. They were very good and very professional. They showed up when they said they would and did a really neat job.

The technician was professional and he performed the furnace check-up in timely manner. Perfect Service has done preventative maintenance on our Furnace/AC for about 10 years now. They have kept our AC/Furnace in good running condition many years and we find their service very reliable.

A service technician came to my house within an hour of my first call. He had to wait for a tree service to remove the limbs and actually helped them. He showed me several broken components so it was obvious it needed to be replaced. He had to call a sales rep to give me a replacement price. Their were several choices. he gave me a written quote. I spoke with two other companies. One was too busy to get to me that day but gave me a replacement price over the phone. the other one came and gave me a price but wouldn't leave it in writing. I called Perfect Service back and they came out by 6:00 and I had air by 11:00 PM. The company waited for the insurance company to pay me before I paid them. Everyone seemed to have my best interest at heart.

They have corrected their mistake, I am fine with them now.

We bought a new heating and cooling thing and they had a good price. We have had a lot of trouble with them. We have had them out multiple times over the summer. They had to drill a big huge hole in the kitchen, which we later found out wasn't necessary. After they installed the unit and three years of complaining about it, they did not remove a piece of tape or strip that was supposed to be removed during installation. I would not recommend them to anybody. We have to continue to use them because we got the unit from them and we can't really cross providers. I would give them an F on all. I would not use them by choice.

They do a good job and are reliable.

They were very thorough and professional. They pointed out some issues with my aging unit, but there was no pressure to do the service right then and there. They gave me a breakdown of costs and even encouraged me to check the prices with competitors. I was really pleased with their initial service.

There were some inaccuracies in their prices. They misrepresented what needed to be done. I had a contract with them, but I did not use the final two visits because they gave me a bad estimate. I had storm damage and had to get a unit replaced. They gave me a price on a lower unit that was going to cost more than the second estimate I got which had a higher seer rating. I got the runaround when I tried on two occasions to speak with the managers. They were prompt and courteous and came out when I needed a service call. I later found out when I used a different company that they had installed something wrong in my unit. I would not use them again.

On a Friday afternoon, the service person came out, performed the inspection, rattled around a lot, took the systems apart. He tried to show me a crack in one system that would require total replacement, but it was in a very obscure and inaccessible place and I couldn't see it. Since it would be a major investment, I called my husband to get his thoughts. He came on home. The service guy planted himself on our sofa and began writing up what we required. By this time I had withdrawn from the conversation because I had other things to do and he was really overly persistent on everything. By the time the estimate hit $10,000, we decided we would get another opinion and estimate and told him that. He stepped up the pressure and began calling back and forth to the office, trying to get us a "better deal", saying he was offering 2011 units and he couldn't guarantee the same price going forward. We asked that he go back to the office - Friday afternoon - and get his best written estimate to us on Monday. And that we were going to get another price. When he didn't pick up and leave, but kept talking, we asked again that he leave. He then said the systems were still taken apart and he would have to go and reassemble them. We asked that he do that and then leave. He said "I sense some hostility here" (which I took as page 4 of the training manual on how to high pressure sell) and we reiterated our stance. If you read the reviews, you'll see the pattern of doing this high pressure thing primarily with women. Our neighbor who recommended them had done the total replacement. Monday we called a different company for a second opinion and they came over, took a 3 hour look and checked everything possible (without me telling them the previous diagnosis) and he saw nothing in the system that needed attention except filters. After that, I specifically showed him where the "crack" was and he tried every way to find it but did not. Cost: $76 for filters. We did not ever hear back with any information from Perfect Service.

They provide excellent service. I have had this contract with them for many years. I am very pleased with them. They are very prompt and professional. They are reasonable.

Perfect Service called to say they would be in the area and offered me a discount to check out my upstairs and downstairs units. They came out and inspected both units and told me they needed to be replaced. We had not had any issues with either of the units until this time. They then tried to push me into buying new units on the spot. They would not leave my house even when I told them I needed to think about the purchase. I finally had to call my husband who is a police officer to get the salesman to leave., It was a very upsetting experience. I called a different company who came out and verified my units needed replacing and replaced them for thousands less than Perfect Service was offering for the same name brand and seer units. **Update** 5/2013 - The company has new management who read my review and was appalled what occurred. As noted below he sent a full refund based on their 100% satisfaction gaurantee. I appreciate his concern and consideration. Based on my recent experience with this man I will consider using this company again.

Perfect Service Heating & Air Conditioning is not far from my house. The people there are prompt and nice. They come out and repair when I call them but, they also give out a warranty for the work done. The furnace was not working which they replaced 10-15 years ago and we have been using them since.

They were just in and out and the job was completed in two days. If I had a problem I would call them again. They told me that I had a problem when they came the first time. I told them that I didn?t understand what they were talking about. He was going to sit down and draw it for me, but instead I called my son in law. They talked to him and explained everything to him. They answered his questions. He was very impressed with their knowledge. They were perfect as their name.

first of all, they called me to tell me that they were on my street and i would get a tremendous savings because of that. i was having air conditioning problems with my upstairs unit and was ready to call someone to check it out. they sent a repairman to do the check and clean. then they sent another person to hard sell me to replace all my units. i was told that it was illegal to charge my unit with freon, and that it was dangerous to me and my family. after hours of informing me, it came down to $5775.00 to replace the upstairs unit and the outside unit. i told them i needed to discuss this with my husband. i was very skeptical of them when i realized that they were not on my street. one lie led to another. i had another reputable company come today. all i needed was to charge my unit and replace a 200.00 part that had gone bad. so for 330.00, my unit is working perfect. perfect service is not so perfect. i think they are out to sell equipment. they did inform me that they were the number one in sales for alabama power for heat pumps. beware!

They did a great job, even though their prices were high. They came out and checked out the old unit. They told me that they would do the tune-up only. However, they also told me that I?d call them again very shortly and hence, replacement was a better option. They were very professional. They have a great attitude towards elderly people. They will not do any work for an elderly person unless they talk with someone in that person?s family. I find that to be very good. They don?t want the elderly people to be taken advantage of when it comes to the prices. They really do take care of you and they are really kind. When they came out, they explained everything to me. Since it was an expensive project, they talked about it with my son-in-law. The heating unit put by them is functioning well. It is heating better than the heating unit that I had before. It is also guaranteed for 12 years, which I think is a good deal. The job cost me $6331 and the filter cost me $2000. I can?t comment on their price because I haven?t compared it to that of any other company. I?d absolutely use them again. They?ll come out twice a year to make sure that the unit is functioning well.

I had a heat pump installed last year and 2 components, one installed improperly and another that was faulty, resulted in increases in power and gas bills. They also forgot to install a return downstairs that led to the compressor failing 6 months after the unit was installed. The service manager agreed with the 2 technicians that corrected the problems that the previously mentioned components were responsible and told me that I would be compensated for the excessive bills. The owner, David Davis, took over and after 2 months of not taking my calls or returning them, finally called and said he wasn't going to compensate me. I filed a claim with the BBB, he still refuses to pay. He has been rude and dismissive, not to mention that he made false statements in his response to the BBB. I have no problems with the Perfect Service technicians or the service manager, but based on my dealings with the owner, I would not recommend this company to anyone. 2/20/2013 I had actually forgotten writing this on Angie's list back in '07 or I would have corrected it as I did the other reviews that I wrote. Udpate, about a year or so after the dealings with David Davis, I was contacted by the service manager previously mentioned stating he and another Perfect Service employee had purchased the business from Davis and wanted to make right the wrongs Davis had done against not only myself, but other customers as well. I was asked what my reimbursement request was that I had based on bills compared to the previous year. I told them, and less than a week later I had a check for the full amount. They apologized for the way things were conducted and assured me that if I gave them a chance, I would be a valued and satisfied customer. Since that day, I have used Perfect Service exclusively and recommend them to anyone looking for heating and air service. Their response time has been excellent with any issues I've had and when they schedule maintenance, their pretty dead on when it comes to arriving at the appointment time. I would highly recommend Perfect Service to anyone, but I have left the text from '07 up in case anyone seeking a heating and air service comes across the previous owner, David Davis.

They were very dependable and you could count on them every time out. That was what I liked about them. This was the base service charge but it could run a little higher when I have needed filters or Freon. I felt their prices were fair and very reasonable any time I have used them.

My cooling unit is only five years old. The man that came out said it was leaking and would not last the summer. All I wanted was it serviced for the summer, I told him. He said I should get a new one right now. After he did the service, I called out another company. This guy could not find even the smallest leak or any other problem at all. The first company was just trying to cheat the elderly into spending more money. I will never call them again.

The bad news that they told us is that our 20 year old unit may be in its last days. But they have kept it running smooth for several years. They are very trustworthy. I was a pretty pleased with them. They showed up on time and went right to work. They come to our house four times a year.

They came right on time like they were suppose too and did a great job. They were professional and friendly and cleaned up really well. The air conditioner keeps the house really cool. I would definitely recommend them.

In my opinion they were an A #1 company and we were very pleased with them. They made sure to give me a complete update on how the unit was doing. We have used them for 5 or 6 years now and their service guys had plenty of experience. Three years ago they put a new unit in for me and did a great job with that also.
