They installed overnight and it went well. Price was about the same as I paid for a smaller unit at my previous address.

The call center reminded me of my 2nd free check up and kind enough to change my apt several times upon my requests. Best of all they HONORED my 2nd free inspection and cleaning of my unit several months after my contact ended. Their special yearly price hasn't increase since I first hired them 10 years ago.

See above. Had a problem with the AC unit blowing but not cooling intermittently. Technicians tried various repairs which only lasted intermittently. With persistence they found a thermostat wire from a previous installation that had insulation worn a way and was grounding out. Has worked "perfectly" since. Continue to use them for twice yearly cleaning and inspection which is reasonably priced.

Worked for about 6 hours, then stopped working and started putting out fumes. Called them the next day and they came out. Bad news: furnace was trashed and would cost $1700 to fix. Good news: we didn't have to pay for the service call because it was covered by the one free call that came with our extended service warranty (that is, it only cost us an additional $120 dollars). The whole experience was so bad that I am considering dropping Angie's List. I have acted on numerous of your recommendations - a few have been outstanding, but too many of them have been mediocre or worse (having gotten good reviews). Perhaps HomeAdvisor or Yelp is a better way to go.

They are a bit pricey, but follow through with their work better than other companies, so paying a little extra seems worth it. They do try to up-sell so be ready

Buddy arrived on time and made himself aware of the location of equipment. He did his job with excellence. He was professional, friendly and informative.

Buddy arrived ahead of schedule. After checking and cleaning AC, he built a filter door next to furnace that has not be in place since the unit was installed at no charge.

He came on time and was very nice. He made me feel good about letting him into my home. He was very knowledgeable about the unit and gave helpful tips to look for in the future.

He was very helpful in explaining the need for condensation pump and whole home purifier to eliminate growth and bacteria performed by Buddy Brown.

Great job! I have been a satisfied customer for many years. They have come out at all hours to fix a problem, always prompt and courteous. They really mean it when they say, "We will make absolutely sure you are 100% satisfied with any work we provide." They went above and beyond to resolve a problem and they do stand behind their work and their word. The technicians did a nice job and it is clean and professional.

They are scam artists. I was actually involved in lawsuit against them. They ripped my father off big time. They target senior citizens and rip them off. My father had an outstanding Rheem that was still under warranty and it was only 7 years old. It was not your heat pump it was the real deal stuff. He had a maintenance contract with this company and this was supposed to be a simple fix, which they themselves created; they come twice a year and do your inspection once for the heat and once for the AC. When they were there in the winter they broke a pipe so they knew they would have to be called back when it was time to run the AC because water was going to go all over the basement floor from that leak. They created a service call and repair for themselves. The whole plan was that when they get there they tell you that this is shot, or this needs repaired and we need to sell you this whole new unit. This was all planned out because when they came to service the heat, my father was grieving because my mother had just passed away and you know when people are old; they were married for 60 years. Unfortunately I was not there at the time, I took care of my father but I happened to not be there because I didn't think I needed to be there for a simple service call. My father told them the sad story how he had just lost his wife of 60 years, he was there by himself, they decided he was an excellent mark, and they set that up. This all came out as time went on. They also stole my mothers bracelet. They went all through the house because they were looking at duct work. My mother had a beautiful gold bracelet that was loaded with charms that was a gift from my brother and it was laying on the dresser, and they stole that. When I mentioned this company to another heating company they said this company is crooks and it's common knowledge in the business and to stay away from them. These are the kind of the people that call all the time. My name was involved in a lawsuit after my father passed against them and they still call me constantly. I have told them repeatedly do not call me and they do these calls constantly trying to get business. And unfortunately a lot of people especially senior citizens fall for it. You can go online and there are blogs and pages and pages of people complaining about what that they have done to them. Unfortunately a lot of people don't look things up and don't check into it before they hire somebody. But they are the worst and they really have no business being in business. And we actually tried to get the attorney general to file a class action lawsuit against them but he was not interested. They have a long standing history of this scam. They have an attorney on retainer. They have perfected their scams. So basically you lose when you go to court. Total rip off. The system that they put in I could get my other heating guy to put in for $4500. If there was less grade than an F I would give it to them. Don't walk; run away from them. They are crooks, thieves and liars. They are rip off artists. They are three times the price. Way out of line with the competition. But they prey on the people who don't know any better and target senior citizens. I think it's despicable for anybody to prey on the elderly. When they came out for the estimate, and because it was a scam and they had it all planned out, they brought a big crew in and they had my dads system ripped out in no time flat. So I am sure they were able to turn around and sell my dads awesome system as good used stuff to someone else. It was a true scam. We had some rescheduling things because my dad had booked the appointment on the day that he had tests with his cardiology team. And I fused at my father about that because I know how those things go and there was no way we were going to get back in time so I had to call and reschedule that. That was before I knew who they were and what kind of people we were dealing with. That was not their fault I had to reschedule.

I really like them. They are really good and the guys that come out take their time and do it right. They are really good. They had a job here that they did and they didn't get here the time they said they would so they gave me a free cleaning and inspection. The cost is $125 a year and they come twice. They just call me when I need the service and I make an appointment, and then they come out and do it. I have no complaints about anything they have ever done. They have 24 hour service so if I have something breaks here, they will come out and fix it day or night. I think their price is fair. Their quality is great. Sometimes they tell me things that I can go buy cheaper than buying it from them. They are very responsive. They explain everything to you and what is going on. They tell you what needs to be checked or done. They check it out good because I had a new thing installed out here and he told me I needed a new throw out switch because it was a fire hazard.

I actually am stuck with a home warranty co. but Perfect Service came out anyway and checked my system, sat down and reviewed all the options regarding my unit. They were VERY patient and took as much time as I needed to make an informed decision about my A/C, they arrived no later than 2 hrs after my initial call which was astounding to me ! The warranty company takes DAYS !!! If I had not had a home warranty contract, this company would have all my business.

He was prompt and courteous and seemed knowledgeable. He identified the problem and informed me what needed to be done. That part was all fine. While we waited on the part to be delivered, he began a very pushy "gloom and doom" type sales pitch to convince us that we needed to replace both our units/entire HVAC systems that day at a cost of over $18,000. He told us about many things that were incorrect about both units, how they were installed, the overflow pump, and on and on. While all those things may be correct, I expressed skepticism and said I'd have to get another opinion before spending that much money. He asked if we'd rather pay for new HVAC or if we'd want to pay for new hardwood floors and sheetrock repairs when water from the unit might start pouring through the ceiling. When I told him that I just wanted him to replace the part that was needed and would not be proceeding with replacing the units, he went ahead and replaced the part. That was 2 weeks ago and everything has worked fine so far. Again, I am satisfied with the actual work that was done. The price was reasonable, even on a Sunday. However, I could not recommend this company due to the pushy, cocky, gloom and doom type sales pitch that I endured while this man was at my house waiting on the part. This went in for some time! Another indication that this was a shady sales pitch was when he told us he'd round the cost down to an even 18,000 "for you nice people". Please!!!

One of the service guys came to look at my AC. After a few minutes of looking at it, he called for a colleague to join him. They told me I needed an entirely new unit ASAP. When I said I wanted a second opinion, one of them became pretty pushy about getting me a new unit immediately. But I was insistent, and the following week I had someone else take a look. They replaced a single wire, didn't charge me anything, and I never had another problem with the unit. I was pretty shocked by the experience because until that point I had very good experiences with Perfect Service. They had been doing my semi-annual HVAC maintenance in the spring and fall, and I was always pleased with the service and price. Update: A rep from perfect service called to address the experience. They apologized and sent me a refund for a years worth of my HVAC maintenance service. Despite my previous frustrating experience, I really do appreciate the professionalism exhibited by the rep who called, and their willingness to compensate me for the frustration and inconvenience. It was a good resolution.
