From sales to installation to follow-up, this vendor did an excellent job.

Took quite a while to have the windows manufactured, but then they quickly installed them. Small leak continued and Durante was quite fast to follow up. It turned out that the leak was not connected to the windows but rather to a roof tile. Durante came out and adjusted the tiles to halt the leak while I contracted with a roofer to finalize the fix. I would definitely deal with this company again.

Raul Alvarado was in charge of building my sunroom. He was knowledgable and polite. Raul was on time, and he always let me know when he was leaving and when he was coming back. He was dedicated in doing a good job.

The installers were on time and did an excellent job. They were very efficient and work oriented, no dilly dallying.

The experience was good overall. The sales person was knowledgeable, experienced, courteous, and non-pressured. However, you pay for the old school of a middle-man sales team. The windows and labor are not cheap. Doors are REALLY expensive comparatively. However, they were the only window vendor able to install windows on our sun porch. Other window vendors said they were unable to do so due to the thickness of the sun porch walls. We were very pleased with the final result. They went above the prescribed installation and fixed a couple of things on our deck connected to our sun porch. Would continue to use them to do the rest of my house if the prices were more competitive.

They were prompt in their work and did a good job. We are enjoying our new bay window and the increased efficiency.

Had deck composite coating system. Had a few problems die to expenditure of wood. (existing deck boards) As I was not happy they came out took up all wood boards and replaced with composite wood.

Both workers showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. All members of the team were professional & courteous.

The job was done quickly and professionally, The windows look great.

The workers arrived on time and removed the 3 windows, cutting out the bottom wall and put in the sliding door and windows in it's place. The had to fill in a vent to crawlspave and cement some riverrock stones to match my patio to provide me a level entrance into the house. They were very curteous and cleaned up behind themselves, removing all trash.

Sales rep was great and did everything he could to work with us. The crew was awesome and was very courteous to my pregnant wife. They did all they could to help keep her comfortable in the August heat.

They showed up on time, very professional, did it in a timely manner, very nice and worked around my gardens outside. Cleaned up everything when they were done.

The rep was extremely thorough and very nice--however the cost was simply prohibitive (twice the competition and the competition really does have good windows, point by point)

The only issue I’ve had is a neighbor’s child through a rock through the window and they came out and replace it right away. I'm pleased with them. If you have any problems they will contact you as soon as possible. They came with a lifetime warrant. I have no complaints. They take time to explain exactly what they are doing and why. I would recommend them to anyone.

This man was so devoted to me. The man that came out and gave us a quote and assisted me with getting the approval from the city to add to the historic home. He didn't have to do it. It turned out beautiful. I have recommended them to my neighbor's. It was perfect.

They were punctual, neat and professional in all aspects. One window was mis-measured and they temporarily installed it with shims and reordered the correct size, returning about 3 weeks later. They followed through every step of the way, informing us of the expected delivery date and installation date. We were very pleased and will recommend them and utilize them in the future. They were not the cheapest but they also were not the most expensive. We heard a few bad stories about their major competitors but heard nothing bad at all about Durante from other homeowners. They had done work around the corner on a home that had fire damage and we liked their workmanship.

The original sales call was wonderful and the best we had. They were the most expensive contractor, but I thought it would be worth it. However, the communication after the original sale was not great. They were big on making promises and not fulfilling them. For instance, I was told it would be 4-6 weeks after ordering for installation and it ended up being over 2 months and that was with alot of phone calls. However, the installers were amazing and the product is great quality. We love the finished product, just getting to that point was pretty painful.

I found them on Angie's List. I liked the sales guy. I had 3 previous window folks over and could not decide. They gave me the price to remove and replace the windows. It was high, but I really needed new windows and liked what they told me. They said they would comeback to measure exactly & have the windows made. They said they would test for lead when they did precise measurements. It would be about 89$ more per window if they found it. They kept me updated via email when they were building my windows with estimates on when they would be finished. They called one morning and asked would I like my windows installed that day. They said they knew it was late notice, but that my windows came in the evening before. I agreed to that day installation. Two super nice guys came to install them. They cleaned up all of their mess as they did each window. They had to leave early that day due to really bad rain & lightening. They came back the next day & finished the windows. I LOVE them. They look great & work perfectly. The only complaint I had at all with the entire project was that no one told me that they had found lead. I was not expecting it to be 89$ extra per window since no one had advised me the test was positive. I will absolutely use them again when I get the rest of my windows.

It was ridiculously expensive. It was fine. They are good and professional people. It was just very expensive. A guy came out and had a presentation to show me. They had a lot of information and had good answers to questions. It was just way too much to pay for a door. It was about 10 times what I'm going to pay for a door but they were going to do custom fitting and door jambs and the whole shot. I didn't use them but the interaction was fine. I'm sure what I would get was fine but it was not what I expected. I would use them if I wanted to pay $3,000 for a door.

Salesman came out to my home and looked job over. Said they would install an insideout under deck drainage system for $12 per foot for $2,688.00. I said OK and told him I would let them do the job for that price. Then while he was writing up the work order he called to set a time for the job to start. I could hear the voice on the other end telling him to jack the price up that he didn't think he wanted the job for that price. He told him they should be able to get more out of me, to charge $16 per foot for a total of $3,584.00 (this is a 33% bump up increse). Looks like a flim flam operation to me. Once you tell someone a set price and both sides agree then it should be settled. Yep looks like these folks are shady operators. I told salesman to leave at once.

My father contracted with Durante the first of October 2012 for a sunroom. His understanding was that work would begin in a few weeks and he would probably be set up by Thankgiving. However, work did not begin until mid Feb 2013. Durante's excuse was that the company had lost one of its installers. There was very little communication or updates from Durante. 98% of communication was initiated by me. They were horrible in providing updates or sticking with a promised start date, which was fluid at best. There is a completion date in the contract, but was (conveniently) not brought to my father's attention and therefore, not filled out. Install only took 2-3 days, so they must have had about 70 jobs ahead of this one. It was NOT a pleasant experience. Employees are very nice when you talk to them, but the actions of the company are unprofessional and not customer-oriented. Very good at marketing and getting the job, but very poor execution. Be sure, if you use Durante, to fill out the completion date in the contract. The end product (sunroom) is fine.

There have been several delays in getting the salesman out for an estimate, but everyone I've spoken with has been very attentive and professional. They had issues with getting multiple appointments scheduled in Huntsville and matching my availability. The salesman was 1.75 hours late for my appointment and didn't call until he was on his way to my house. He was held up on an extremely long prior appointment. I would have really appreciated a call much earlier to let me know what was going on. In any event, he got there and gave a great demonstration. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I originally wanted estimates on entry doors and insulation, but it was 9:00 pm when we finished with windows and I was too tired to do any more. They gave me an extra discount of the total price because of the length of time I had to wait to get an appointment. I will update and adjust grades as future steps are completed.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of the construction and the professionalism of all the Durante employees and the contracted brick mason on this job. We were in and out of town during the construction, and Durante had no problem adjusting their work to our schedule. We would not hesitate to recommend Durante.

They came out and gave me and estimate for siding my housse the product seemed great but it was double the cost of other estimates.

Frank was my salesman. He did a good job and the windows fit and look great. I had called Durante and 3 other vendors and Durante (Frank) was the first (and only) provider to get back with me. Frank did a great job analyzing the situation and recommending the proper solution. Although the process took a bit longer than I had hoped, the final job was great. The windows are manufactured at an out of state plant also owned by Durante, which made me feel comfortable should the measurements be incorrect (which they weren't). There aren't many other comnpanies that I could find that do replecement storm windows - and this was the only company that was interested enough to respond. I'd use them again!
