They were really good. They were a little expensive. I have no complaints about the work; it is outstanding. They only did half the house, so I will use them again to do the upstairs.

A little pricey but very professional. We are waiting for the windows to be made but so far so good.

The job started on Monday morning. The two installers were very professional and didnt mind answering questions. They had to stop work because of rain and returned Tuesday Morning and got started again. Once again the rain came and they had to stop at lunch time. They returned Wednesday and finished the job. They took their time and paid very close attention to detail resulting in an excellant job

Overall, the experience was excellent. The particular windows that I received were higher performing, yet less expensive compared with other companies. They have a very good reputation, and everything went smoothly with the installation. The technicians showed up on time, completed the work within the time they said it would take, cleaned up very well afterwards, and weren’t in the way at all during the work. The salesman was also very personable and pleasant to work with.

Overall, the experience has been good. They’ve been reliable; did what they said they would do within the time frame that they say they will, at the price that was quoted. Their prices are competitive. I’ve been satisfied with the work that they’ve done.

The experience was very good overall. The salesman explained how the windows were made and what they would do, as far as keeping out the cold and hot. He was an excellent person to deal with and very knowledgeable. They honored a coupon that we had, and I thought their price was reasonable. The installers were very considerate, punctual, and I’m very satisfied.

The experience was superb overall. The quality of the workmanship with the installation crew was exceptional. Their bid was within the middle/middle high, but the quality of the product is excellent. If I will need additional work done, I will go to them!

Durante sold us the windows and they installed the windows as well. They showed up promptly, did the work within two days, and cleaned up well. They were very professional. They also supplied us with matching caulk when we asked for it. When we thought we had a window leak (it turns out it wasn't the window, it was our framing) they promptly came out free of charge and recaulked the windows. We have been very pleased with the windows. They are well designed, well made. They keep out the wind which roars up the mountainside our house in on. They keep the house from heating up in the summer from all of the direct sunlight. I love the way the screens fit.

The overall experience was pretty good, but I would not use them again in the future.

We were contacted promptly and given an estimate. Scheduling was flexible to our needs. Weather delayed start, but we were kept informed. When work began, it was completed in a timely manner.

Excellent service. The two man team were courteous and professional. I was surprised that they could finish in just one day. They cleaned up afterwards and replaced things as they were.

They were very good and knowledgeable. The design consultant that came out had a background himself in construction. They were prompt and flexible in their scheduling. I am still waiting to talk with one more prospective vendor about this project but right now I am leaning towards Durante.

A Durante salesman came to our house to give an estimate on replacing 9 double pane windows because of moisture between the panes. He informed me that our windows did not need replacing and proceeded to tell me two procedures which were far less expensive. He told me that his company did not do those repairs and I replied that he will not make any money this way. He said he treats people the way he wants to be treated. Guess who we will buy windows from when they do need replacing.!!!!!!!

The work was completed in four days by an amiable team of three men. Durante does not subcontract out its installations, so all of the installers are on the Durante staff. Upon completion of the job, I examined the windows and made a list of the problems, large and small, that I found. My principal complaints were uneven caulking on some -- not most -- of the windows and the fact that several windows had divider grids that did not fit tightly at the points where the grids met the window sashes. Mr. Minor, the installation supervisor, came to my home to address my "punch list" and to make his own final inspection of the windows. He pointed out some small problems that I hadn't seen. I was impressed by his competence and professionalism. New windows were ordered to replace those with loose grids, all corrective adjustments were promptly made, and Mr. Durante, himself, came to my home to remove and re-caulk the windows that were untidily caulked. (I should acknowledge that I'm a fussy person and am particular about detail.) I'm quite happy with our windows. I believe I received good guidance from our salesman in selecting the models that are best suited for the climate of central Alabama. Equally important to me is that Durante's service is absolutely as good as the salesman and the company's literature describe it to be. At no point did anyone argue with me about the post-installation issues I raised. Management does "stand by" Durante products and workmanship. And I understand why so many Angie's List members have given this company good ratings.

The work turned out excellent with this company. The salesman was very patient and answered all of my questions. He gave us time to think about what we wanted to do. He didn’t try to up sale us at all. The crew was very professional and efficient in there work. After they were finished with the work they cleaned up after themselves nicely. I thought they did an excellent job. I don’t have any complaints about them at all. I requested the same crew as I had previously install my windows and they were able to accommodate that request. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They were great. The laid it out and did a fantastic job. The quote was around $10000. I liked the material they were going to use. They have warranty and that kind of stuff. They were very quick. I would consider using them.

Had the old steel windows that were extremely inefficient and some of them wouldn't close all the way. My house has a brick smear on it so I was a little worried about them being able to get the old windows out without damaging the brick or smear. They did a great job and you can't even tell work was done. They left the area very clean and I found no debris.

The projects took longer than we expected, however we are very pleased with the results! There was some trouble with the initial order for the windows, so the project started later than we expected. They also had a delay on some material towards the end of the deck project which caused that to be delayed a few days. The gentleman we worked with to design the minor changes to the deck and porch was great. There was never any pressure to go with a more expensive design - he wanted us to be happy with the price and results. The windows are excellent quality and function! Great noise reducers, and we can't wait to see the savings on our heating and cooling bills. They did not do an excellent job on repairing/repainting the walls around the windows were the trim was replaced, but we don't mind that much since we plan on repainting those rooms eventually. Every time I use my windows or deck, I smile! The expense was worth every penny for the satisfaction I have with their products. No more windows that don't work, no more deck maintenance, no more splinters, no more burning my feet on the hot wood in the summer! Their clean up was good, but not perfect. I spent time every few days looking for nails in the landscaping and grass so my kids and our dog would not step on it. But, I doubt anyone would clean up the way I would expect them to - I have very high standards, and they have other customers to serve!! The workers were all courteous, friendly and very quiet. No bad language, and they were easy to communicate with.

The installers showed up on time and started quickly. They did a professional job, didn't leave a mess. Because of heavy rains, they had to come back on the next day. They completed the job and the cleanup. I would request this team of 2 brothers to install future windows (3 more windows to go). And I will purchase the windows from Durante.
