Great! They came out, measured, called when the blinds came in and set a time for installation. Were on time, professional, quick and efficient. We had one blind that wasn't correct and the installer said he would be back in about two weeks to fix it. Two weeks later they called and set a time for him to back. I would definitely hire again.

Craig Byram and the people at Custom Blinds are really outstanding! From the beginning estimate to the installation and subsequent visits to take care of changes that I wanted to make, my experience was excellent. The estimate I got was lower than any other, and the product and installation were perfect. I highly recommend them!

Greg came and fixed all of the problems During the summer, The front bedroom stays very warm and the blind didnt work well. He took it apart and some pieces were worn from the heat I decided to replace it with a new blind. The cost was reasonable. He took the measurements and said it would be ready to install in 6weeks. He called at the end of the six weeks and made another appt to install blind. Walter came at the time that was agreed on. Both Greg and Walter were very knowledgeable, personable and professional. And did the work in a timely manner.

They came out to measure the day after I called. They were very helpful in making a decision on blinds or shutters - answered all my questions. And whether to go with painted or wood. I knew it would be 5 weeks, and they were ready on the dot of 5 weeks. Each shutter is hand made and they fit perfectly in the three bays of my window - which speaks to very accurate measuring. The oak stain matched perfectly with the wood decking on window. The installed showed me how to care for shutters and how to adjust them with a hidden screw. I really appreciated that. I could not be more pleased.

Got a quote about a year ago, but it was a lot of money.We Waited about a year. Got a second quote which was within about $50 of Craigs. We felt Craig would do a good job and he did. Craig was great. He came over when he was in the area which was only a few days after we spoke, and fixed it free of charge!

He ( the owner ) came out the last day of Aug. and measured our windows and gave us a price on the job. I didn't agree for them to order the blinds until September the 4th, at that time I gave him 200 dollars for the down payment. I was told that it would take a week and a half for the blinds to come back( it took two and a half weeks) When they came out to install the blinds, the whole order was wrong. the color was wrong and were there should have been two blinds for the double windows, there was only one blind for the whole window. they had to reorder, taking another week and three days. We had to buy temporary window treatment because we took down other treatment when they were suppose to have finished the first time. Had to change plans (Birthday party )because house didn't look right without window blinds.A job that should have taken no longer than two weeks, took over a month.

Craig was very professional. He installed beautiful new shutters at a reasonable price. He noticed that two of my blinds in another room were broken and he had them fixed for us at no extra cost. It was a very pleasant experience and I will be using his business again.

Craig was wonderful to work with as well as Matthew. Their estimate came in just a little lower than two other companies from Angie's List and way lower than one other company that was referred to us. What I really appreciated was that Craig came out to our very wet new home construction site a few months before it was finished and trudged through the mud to show me some large wooden shutter samples that he placed in the bedroom window so that I could see what it looked like in our actual home vs. going to someone else's home to view the shutters. That was such a smart idea and really helped to make my decision on which wooden shutters to select. I also liked that they were very willing to use the zero VOC paints on the shutters. The shutters came in pretty quickly (except for a few shutters that had to be reordered) and were installed nicely. We had a few issues with the eco friendly paint not adhering in some spots on the shutters and one shutter piece that split, but they were always so humble and willing to figure out what the issue was and to make it right. Craig said he was happy to learn about the newer zero VOC paint so that he would know for future reference. Matthew came out to do some touch-ups. This company was a joy to work with and I could tell that the reason for this is because they put Christ first in their business practices which we are loving!

I purchased three cordless blinds for a large LR window. They have malfunctioned three times and the company has removed them and returned them to the manufacturer ( last time was yesterday). They have done all they can to help me get this resolved and have been very nice as well. I definitely recommend this company.

Excellent Service and product. Owner was extremely responsive and performed the work on the schedule he quoted. One set of blinds was back ordered and he installed those as soon as they came in. Installer was very professional. I would use them again unconditionally.

Craig was a pleasure to deal with. Having spent months out of our home (Chinese drywall repairs) he made sure this was one less worry. Very prompt and courteous from first visit through installation an follow up, very professional and thorough. Shutters are obviously high quality and look great. General contractor wanted to know who did work as fit and finish are first rate.

I love that when they come to give you an estimate, it's straightforward but also not high pressure. Their prices are the best we've found in the area since they do some of the assembly here in Birmingham. The estimated time frame for installation was reasonable, within 3-4 weeks since everything is measured and made specifically for that window. The installation was quick and the man who installed the shutter was very friendly and professional. The shutter is very well-made and high quality. We were very pleased with our experience and plan to use them for more windows as well.

They turned out very well. There was a slight issue with the color when he first delivered the finished product. There was no quable or argument. He realized they were not quite exactly right, the color was a little off. He took them back and corrected them. He was back week later and they look great. I think we got a good price for what we got.

We called several companies to quote window treatments for a 320 sq. ft. sunroom. One would not even schedule an appointment until the room was entirely finished and rather rude. One repeatedly missed scheduled appointments and a third really didn't seem to want our business.Craig came to the house at the appointed time having called beforehand. He did not have the fabic we were looking for but he obtained a sample quicky, set an appointment, came when scheduled and called beforehand.He gave us an excellent price which included installation and we signed a buyer's order. The shades arrived well within the promised time frame. He called to advise us. He set an appointed time. He arrived on time and called beforehand.This was a perfect experiende in a world of lazy tradespeople. We are very satified with the Company, its employees and its work and would gladly recommend them.

I called Custom Blinds and Shutters. The salesperson came over and looked at the other shutters in my house and was able to determine the manufacturer. He measured then placed the order for the shutter. I paid half at that time. The shutter arrived in about 2 or 3 weeks. He called and arranged a time to come back to install it, when I paid the balance. They were courteous and professional, plus they worked with my busy schedule, installing it as promised and beautifully!

Custom Blinds & Shutters had a really great selection to choose from. It took about six weeks for our order to be filled which is a normal time frame. They only took about four hours to get them all installed and they did a good job. I love them and everyone always comments on how great they look.
