I would use him again, just hope I do not have too and the house is settled for good. First let me say to be fair, I review hard. I am in business and Customer Service is my ANAL part for my customers. That said: Estimate and Timely to come, Great. As with many (most) he required materials money upfront, that is normal. I will stipulate that the work was adequate. HIS PRICE for what he did was more than Excellent. He gave us a really nice deal on a second project to Brick in our Old Outdoor Grilled Area. My Concern was, he had a hard time keeping people. Had someone new each day 2.5 days or work. The Day Labor he hired to do the brick grill was EXCELLENT, yet the man walked off the job over a dispute in their apparent agreed upon price. What I believe was a $450 job in the estimate, the excellent Mexican Mason was only paid $80 The Mason did not speak English, but was able to come to my door to tell me that he was shorted and was leaving and that the work done on our flower beds, where we had loose and cracked, was Shotty Work. I agreed, but it was satisfactory and the Cost of work elated us (He was less than half all the established local business' quoted us.) I only do not give him all A's or higher was due to different people leaving the job each day or not coming back the next. We are very pleased when you look at cost and completion. He cleaned up well, as if you deal with cutting saws and mortar, it can be messy and clean up was adequate. He did do little things and did find a major repair on our Separate Brick Garage that he missed on estimate and did not even try to add to the work cost. (that is a professional and exactly how I do business) Overall, minus the problem with day labor, We are satisfied. He is a nice young man, I figure in his late 30s and was professional in his Estimate meeting. He does what he says and anything he found later without playing money games.

Mr. Foushee did EXCELLENT work at a VERY AFFORDABLE price compared to other contractors who bid the work. There was a bit of misunderstanding about expectations concerning prep and cleanup. I only say this to encourage customers to make certain that both the contractor and the customer are on the same page about all aspects of the job. I was and am VERY PLEASED with the quality of the work and the overall outcome. I would use Brick By Design (Dennis Foushee) again.

For the driveway work, I would say their work was bad. They do not have enough experience working with concrete, they do not know the work, and they are not equipped for doing concrete work.

They charged $2500 for the brick wall, $1600 for the stone work, and $600 for the brick wall with the columns, I'd say it cost about $3000 for all the brickwork alone. He was very conscientious about giving me exactly what I was looking for, and he worked very, very hard to please me with the quality and creativity of his work in matching colors and such things.
