Swimming pool deconstruction. We were faced with the replacement of a swimming pool vinyl liner in our backyard swimming pool at a cost of $3,000.00. Our pool sat under a number of pine trees and the job of keeping the needles out of the pool and just keeping it clean was becoming an onerous task. It was not enjoyable having a pool anymore. I contacted a website for removing pools, and ultimately a company in California directed me to service in Alabama. They then recommended Glenn Webb to do the work. ( I had contacted a local pool company who said that they could remove pools, and to this day, they have never gotten back to me to give and estimate, much less to do the work.) Glenn came the day after I contacted him. He gave me a solid estimate, guaranteed it would not go over, and gave me the date he would start. The night before the work of removing the pool was to begin, Glenn arrived with a sump pump to remove the water from the pool. When he and his assistant arrived the next day, they moved several bags and mulch and rocks that I had piled next to the fence enclosing the pool and neatly stacked them elsewhere. They then removed the sections of fence that I required, left one for us to use for replacement slats. After the preliminaries they set about systematically deconstructing the pool, removing the vinyl for trash disposal, breaking up the concrete around the pool, filling in the hole. They brought in three truckloads of dirt to completely fill it in. Within the day, they had completed the job with precision, smoothed out the dirt, and with no problems. After he had finished I mentioned I would want to sod the area now. Glenn replied that they could do that. He gave me a price, arranged for the sod, and said he would return the next morning. The sod and the labor of laying the sod cost $700.00. The actual pool deconstruction was $3,000. They finished that by noon of that day. It was a wonderful job. Good honest estimate, Steady work. Professional. Knew what he was doing. I can't praise the job enough. Total satisfaction.
