I appreciated the professional work that was done at my home. I am very happy with my new roof and worry free when it rains.

I see no reviews for a couple years on these guys. Just thought I would share a recent experience with y’all. I agreed to have them do the work. And as soon as I signed the contract problems began to arise. First, their #1 vinyl guy was injured on the job and would not be able to help with this one, Then, they couldn’t add vinyl to my bay window, because I’ll be getting new windows soon. Then, they were using all white j-channel, even though they bought color matching j-channel with my money. Then, they were going to leave a 2x4 at the base of the siding uncovered and when asked about it…”We are going to paint that for you”. Well, painting is not maintenance free! Then, they face nailed the facia vinyl and after 2 weeks it is buckling. And the last thing was outlining my power boxes in white j-channel. At that point, We went our separate ways. Please research previous work by the contractor you choose. And make sure you have plenty of references. Pictures and quality are attached. Choose wisely guys!

Overall excellent service was provided from estimate to installation. Prompt reply to my request for initial visit, estimate and actual scheduling of work. I will be using Mr. Estes again and would recommend him and his crew.

My house looks like new. Mr. Estes was prompt and responsive to communications. Mr. Estes actually arrived at my house to give the quote before I did. I did not get any other estimates on the job as Mr. Estes quoted exactly what a trusted family member in the construction/renovation business told me I could expect to pay. Once the contact was agreed upon, the crew showed up on the scheduled start day at 8AM and went to work as they did every day for the duration of the project. The project was completed in two weeks and any concerns I had along the way were promptly addressed and fixed. I am very happy with the results.

They did a good work. Satisfied with what they did. and the roof and sidings are still in good condition after 2 years has gone. The price for the siding work was a little bit high, it was higher than what I've expected, but the roofing price was I guess just inline with the current pricing then.

Mr. Estes gave me a very clear estimate. He is very professional and clearly knows his business. The gentlemen who installed my siding and wrapped my fascia did a fantastic job!! They answered all my questions. They were professional and friendly. When they finished, they cleaned up my entire property for me. They even made sure that my cats did not escape from my porch. I was completely satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend Mr. Estes to anyone who is planning on installing vinyl siding on their house.

We've used Mr. Estes before and were well pleased. This time he replaced the roof on our house. It was done quickly and efficiently and the clean up was the best we've ever had. There was no damage to our landscaping and we didn't find nails or debris anywhere. His crew also did some minor repairs to rotten footings on the posts in the garage and the fascia on the roof line. They built a beautiful pergola over our patio. It went up in less than two days, mostly due to rain showers. It's a stunning addition to the patio and everyone that sees it loves it.

The job took several days. All the old materials were remove and replaced around the whole house. The quality of work was great! Jeff n team even wiped down all the fascia boards so they were clean and cleaned up their work area at end of the job. Definitely worth the money!

I called for an estimate on a new roof and he came that afternoon with color samples. We needed 2 old power vents removed, and an old chimney vent removed. The old roof had to be removed and some decking replaced. Work crew of 6 arrived as scheduled and went right to work. They cleaned up as they worked. New roof looks great and the final cleanup was very thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend Estes for roofing.

We have had a lot of work done by other contractors in the last few years including complete remodeling of our house down to bare bones including rewiring and re-plumbing, then had a new detached garage built. Working with Jeff was a more pleasant experience. He showed up when he said he would or he called. The quality of work was very good to excellent. They also did a good job of cleaning up when finished. We had to make some minor changes to the job in progress and they worked hard to please us.

The work they did was good, they did the roof of the house, but they only finished 2/3 of the porch. I showed them where the porch roof was leaking n was assured that it would be fixed. Later I was told that they were going to " tie into the exsisting shingles that were good". I didn't realize that meant they were only completing 2/3 of the porch. When I complained about the two toned roof I was told that it would cost almost $600. to fix. After the first bad bad rain, the porch was leaking worse than before. When I called about it I was told "I don't get leaks". Someone was sent out to look at it, he came after dark, and never went up on the roof, he looked at the discolored area of the ceiling where the leak was and said "we didn't do that" and then quoted me the same price to come back to fix it. I'm not complaining about the work that was done, that seems to be fine. I am complaining about the work that wasn't done, and the " I don't get leaks "attitude . When I did get someone else out to finish the job he discovered a large hole in the roof under the shingles. Too bad there is no place here to post pictures or videos without changing all my privacy settings.

Lying thief would not honor his price

Mr Estes and his crew were extremely efficient and professional. The man who repaired our screened porch was so good. We will use this company for future work on our home.

Everything went very well. Crew was on time, professional and fair on pricing. Work was done in a timely manner.

The work went great. Jeff Estes and his work crew headed up by Roc, did a fantastic job. During the job, they found some rotting plywood decking; they tore out the old decking and replaced it before proceeding with the roofing job. This barely deterred the roofers. They still completed the job in just a shade over two days and best of all, the repairs were not costly. Jeff tried to stay as close as possible to the original estimate. I appreciate Jeff and his work crew for putting me, the customer first. I would recommend Estes to anyone planning on putting on a new roof. In my opinion, they are the best!

Mr. Estes was prompt in returning phone calls and early for our appointment for an estimate. He assessed the work needing to be done and said he would call back with a definite price. He called within 30 minutes. We received three different estimates for the job from different companies and his was in line with the others. He gave us an estimated start date of about a week but actually began work several days early. The workers were thorough and wasted no time on the job. The work was completed in two days and it is beautifully done. The overall experience was great and we will definitely use Mr. Estes again in the future.

Surprisingly fast. Clean-up was done at the end of each day. Jeff Estes and his crew are very professional.

My old garage flooded with every hard rain until it began to fall apart. I contacted Jeff and Buck at Estes Remodeling for an estimate. I was happy with their estimate because I thought it was a fair price. They began the work on June 4, 2016 and we finished by July 8, 2016. Everything, from the pouring of the concrete to the painting was done very well. Even the building inspector was impressed with the work. Should I ever need any further work done, I will not hesitate to call Estes Remodeling.

The 3 jobs went smoothly they were done one right behind the other .Could not have gone any better love the end result,all of the men that worked on my home polite and professional .Thanks to you all.

I am so thankful to once again have an opportunity to leave a review for Estes Remodeling. I have used Estes for nine projects over the last three years from a complete bathroom remodel, indoor painting, complete replacement of damaged floors, new baseboards and door trim replacement, outdoor painting, replacement of fascia boards, new vinyl siding, a new deck and pergola, new vinyl windows, tiling over my fireplace and installing new fireplace doors, to a scuppernong trellis. And, now a new roof! It looks great, I am so happy with it. It is a perfect color and has a great warranty. I waited, really too long, to have it replaced and Jeff’s crew found quite a bit of roof decking that needed to be replaced. But that was not a problem. When Jeff told me, I asked “What do I need to do?” He said “Nothing, I’m taking care of it”. Don’t you just love that, when someone tells you not to worry, they’re taking care of it. That’s just what I wanted to hear and I had complete confidence based on my other experiences that it would be done exactly right. After all of this time and all of these projects I can truly say I have no regrets. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it the exact same way. How often can you say something like that? I am so thankful when I began these repairs and enhancements to my home that the Lord, through various circumstances, led me to just the contractor I needed - - - someone who was very knowledgeable, honest, free with good advice, reasonably priced and friendly. I have pictures but Angie's List is in the process of upgrading this site and not accepting pictures at this time. But they look great! Thank you, Jeff, for everything.

Jeff had his crew on the jobs within a few days. Frank and Tony started the prep work of removing battens and trim then replacing the bad wood with some 1x12 cedar I had bought several years ago when I was trying to decide on what to do with the house. Twelve 16 foot boards cost almost $500, which is when I started thinking of siding. Then Frank and Tony put on the foam wrap and tracks for the siding. The weather could not have been better for most of the job. Frank and Tony started at a back corner and got half of the back, a gable end, and the front done. The front posts got trimmed in white along with shutters on the windows. Material order at the supplier came in wrong, which worked out fine. I had DISH move the receiver off of the house. Jeff was very apologetic. I told him that I had been thinking of siding the house for five years, so what difference would five days make. Frank and Tony got the phone and power boxes, electrical outlets, and water faucets trimmed out. The correct siding came in and Tony did the rest of the back of the house and the gable end in a little more than a day. Tony and Frank also replaced the security and front and back porch lights with new ones I bought. I also got Frank and Tony to put trim around two bedroom windows and a bay window. Jeff did not charge me any extra for the window trim. The six front posts did cost extra but was less than if I had ordered just the post kits and tried to cut and fit them myself. All that was left to do (when the rain stopped) was to walk around and caulk and do any touch-ups. Frank and Tony very friendly and prompt. They organized their work area(s) everyday before leaving. Plus, they had to put up with me getting in the way trying to help. This whole job was done almost with nothing more than a Handshake! Nice to know that they're still people around that do what they say will do.

A swamp oak fell on my house during an especially nasty storm and damaged the roof and destroyed the deck. We called Estes because we had used their services before on some work on the front of the house. This is a quality contractor. Jeff provided all services in a timely and professional manner. Work that was provided was up to the highest quality and standards. My wife and I were very happy with everything that Jeff did for us. Jeff is an "old-school" businessman who honors his word and will do everything with a handshake. Communication was fantastic.

I could not have asked for easier people to work with. Joey and Steve were very professional. They answered questions and made great suggestions on how to improve what I requested. Jeff Estes was is quick to return phone calls and/or emails. Jeff provided quick and detailed estimates. I will use this company in the future for any work I need. I already have another estimate with Estes Remodeling in the works for interior door replacement.
