we have been using them since we moved in our home 3 months ago and still have a roach infestation, have not done anything to our yard to keep fleas or ants and other bugs from getting in. I plan on calling to speak with the owner if things do not get better. our last bill was in the $200 and will not pay that again with out better results.

I was very impressed. I am also having this company do my Termite Protection in the summer ( July, August) He explained the products they use, how they are applied, how long they last and when they have to be re-applied. Professional but able to explain in a way that is easily understood. They use a product that is pet and people friendly. I am very sensitive to odors and this product did not bother me. He was on time, friendly and did not seem bothered by kids/pets.

Good. There were no particular problems to begin with, but we were looking for a recurring service provider.

Brought their termite sniffing dog, house got an all clear.

The whole process went great. I was in the market for a new termite protection provider because I was fed up with the lack of service by my prior provider. I learned of Hadley's from Angie's List & was impressed by their outstanding reviews. Now that I've contracted them, I have better termite coverage at a lower price. If my initial impression with their service is any where near accurate, I'll be a long-time client.

The service is great, everyone I've dealt with has been extremely nice. They are prompt, professional yet personable.

Three paid visits, four recalls for infestations due to new sod and excessive rain. Or so we were told. New home with occasional hordes of: worms, centipedes, millipedes, spiders, cockroaches in attic and these weird little black beetles with red stripes that jump 18 feet in the air and land inside the house. Usually in someone's pajamas. Declined inside treatments due to chemical sensitivity from hazmat exposure in the past so it was very important for effective outside pest control. Recalls only when we vacuumed up more than 20 bugs in an evening: that's the Gross-Out Quota we set so we wouldn't be a nuisance. We even kept them hostage in the hand vacuum so the tech could see we weren't exaggerating. Offered to pay extra and was told no, they would be there to take care of it. Continued to ask if there was something we were doing wrong or could do differently to limit the intrusions. The response to everything was 'This is Alabama.' Really? One of the techs (unpaid visit #2) made it very clear that he wasn't happy to be back out again even though he was the one who'd decided he didn't need to treat the attic. I remember his statement: You're due to pay us in a few weeks, right?' The inference was that I was trying to get a free treatment and then perhaps cancel the scheduled one. So after the only truly helpful and cheerful technician, Jarrod, vanquished the Killer Bees; I ordered about five pounds of fancy baked goods from Cheryl's. They were signed for on July 1st and I'm still waiting for someone to acknowledge the gift. The last time Jarrod was out for the PAID service, I asked if anyone had shared them with him and he said they had. And he was embarrassed that no one had contacted us. (The included card was clear on thanking them for their patience and who it was from.) I called Hadley's one last time to ask how to deal with another spider outbreak and was subjected for the 33rd time to the 'spiders don't groom themselves so the treatment has to sprayed directly on them' lecture. Jarrod had mentioned that they had just received something new for spiders and I was trying to get information on that for the next service. What I got was a 'We've been out at your house SEVEN times and we need to start charging you for every visit. It's not our fault that it has been such a rainy season but it is costing us too much in time and materials when you and some other people don't understand that this is Alabama and we have insects.' And if they're passing on that sentiment to the two ladies I'd heard of earlier in the year who had demanded five recalls in one month, eventually they'll have all the time in the world. Well. Let's see what applies to us: Paid for three visits, never had inside treatments so that saved Hadley's time and materials, four 'courtesy' visits, multiple requests for advice on what we could do to stop the problems (with negligible response from Hadley's) and as long as we're keeping score, one batch of Thank-You goodies (cost equal to a quarterly service visit) consumed without acknowledgement. Call me hypersensitive but when the pest control treatments are as ineffective as the communication treatments, it's not worth it. Even in Alabama.

I had Hadley's come out to perform a limited termite inspection. I also quoted them to start a quarterlty pest control service. I decided not to start immediately but Chase was extremely professional. The price cannot be beat. Chase also offered to answer any pest control questions even if I did not go with Hadley's!

The Lady who helped me was great. No pressure at all. She told me how they did it what they would use and how it would be done. I made an appointment and they showed up on time and then cam out and checked with there ..may I say very cool dog for active termites. I would tell everyone to use them but I think they are in Lower Alabama. Loved them!!

They would were wonderful. And I can't say enough good things about them! They were professional and were right on time. ; They were very nice and straightforward and I found them to be completely trustworthy. Nine months later..... It has now been nine months since I started using Hadley, and I still can't say enough good things about them. They always arrive on time and provide terrific service. The words that come to mind: Trustworthy, skilled, impeccable, friendly, and conscientious. I will never use anyone else!! They make all the other local companies in the Mobile area pale in comparison. They even saved me from leaving town with a gas leak! Due to the careful scrutiny of my service representative when he walked around the perimeter of my home, he picked up on a slight gas leak. When I called the gas company and they came out, the representative of the gas company was amazed that the Hadley service person even picked up on the leak, because it was outside and so small. I love Hadley!!!!!

Excellent! On time, did everything they said, a very good experience!

We live on a heavily wooded lot in central Mobile. We are no stranger to insects but this Spring was unusual. Chance from Hadley's listened to our description of the problem, addressed our concerns for our three cats and asked for a tour of the house and problem areas. He treated the inside of the house. It was raining and so we had to wait a week to get the outside treated. From the initial visit, we didn't see a single bug, dead or alive, for two days. Now we see an occasional body and just one live roach in the three weeks following. We now have control of the kitchen. We are signed up for quarterly visits at the normal pricing of $65/visit.

We very very happy with our experience. The technicians were very professional from the time that they showed up until the time that they left and Dixie was a treat. I would recommend Hadley Termite & Pest Control, Inc to everyone!!!

The Hadley employees arrived promptly at the time specified. Both men were knowledgeable and very friendly and considerate. They were clean cut and presented themselves professionally--as in, glad to be there and interested in doing their job. This is important to me as I'm picky about who comes onto my property and into my home. You don't want to feel like you're being "cased" for a return visit; I think we've all had those experiences. First a visual inspection was done and then the guys (Chance and Jarrod) brought out their helper, a border collie named Dixie. Yes, that's right, they use a termite sniffing dog! That is actually what really caught my interest with Hadley's Termite and Pest Control--they are the only company in the state of AL that uses the canines for termite detection. Happily, Dixie didn't "alert" during her inspection here but it was sure interesting to watch her check everything out. All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction and it was a pleasant experience besides the fact that we know we got a "deal" due to the half price offer. We felt like we'd made some new friends and would certainly use their services again. Also, we'd not hesitate to recommend Hadley Termite and Pest Control to our friends.

Hadley Pest Control came to our house for an annual termite control inspection 12-2012. We had interviewed prospective termite companies in Fall 2011 for a termite contract and selected Hadley Pest Control; we submitted an Angie's List review on our selection process in 3-2012. This review therefore only covers the annual termite inspection. We had our first annual termite inspection under our 2011 termite contract with Hadley Pest Control. The inspection was completed by their technician, Chance, and the company's termite inspection dog. Their technician is very knowledgeable and personable. First, Chance and his dog inspected the exterior of our house and attached garage for evidence of termites. None was found. Then they inspected the interior, the second floor first, followed by the bottom level. Chance went to the area where termites had initially been identified on the second floor to see if there was any recurrence. Fortunately, there was none. He and his termite inspection dog went through every area of the house, carefully examining each wall for any evidence of termites. Chance even inspected the interior of our attic. Hadley's thoroughness, professionalism and knowledge were among the reasons we chose their company over the competition. Other termite companies rapidly inspect your home, using a pin light to quickly and superficially inspect the walls of the first level only of the house (we, in fact, had termites on the SECOND level of our house). The inspectors of these companies have limited knowledge about termites, upon questioning; they just want to quickly complete the inspection and move on, spending maybe 15 minutes on the 1st level only of our house. By contrast, Hadley's employs very knowledgeable inspectors coupled with a well-trained dog who can smell the evidence of termites (not just a simple pin light used by the competition). Chance spent about an hour on the entire inspection of our house. Furthermore, Hadley Pest Control encourages its customers to contact them should we see termites in the house during the year and they will reinspect, as necessary.

I read a glowing review about Hadley and decided to give them a call. The service technician was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. What really impress me was the "Termite Dog". This in itself is a very valuable tool in finding termites that are 'unseen' in the walls. I am totally satisfied with the service this company provided and I strongly recommend them.

Their service representatives are professional in appearance and conduct. They call to remind me when quarterly service is due; schedule the appointment at my convenience, and show-up at the appointed time. The very few time when they were running late, I received a call to reschedule the arrival time. My experience in dealing this company has been excellent. They have kept my home pest free.

WE HAVE USED THEM SINCE WE HAVE BEEN DOWN HERE ABOUT F YEARS. THEY COME OUT EVERY YEAR TO WALK THE PROPERTY AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OK. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND TO A GREAT JOB

We have been using them for nine years. They are always punctual. They use good sprays. We never have any trouble. Around here there are a lot of cockroaches, spiders & so forth and whatever spray they use is good. Plus they have two termite dogs.
