We were very pleased with the dedication & workmanship by Mr. Awning's & Home Repair. We have a large multi-deck that was in need of repair. The contract was to remove & replace old decking, repair rotten wood underneath & haul off debris. Knowing safety concerns, Mr. Awnings went above & beyond adding extra supports that were not on the deck prior. It did take longer than expected but they had rain & freezing weather. We are very happy with the deck & have recommended them to friends.

I was extremely pleased with the work Michael and his crew did at our home. Their work was done efficiently, within a very agreeable time frame and they did quality work. His workers were pleasant and hard workers. Mike explained any delays (parts not being received) and kept us informed each step of the way. We already have some more projects in mind for Mike and his crew. I highly recommend this company.

I am extremely pleased with job performed. It was completed in a timely manner with excellent workmanship. It was a difficult job but the guys did not cut corners. They went above and beyond to complete the work. I already have another job waiting for them and will be referring them to all of my contacts.

Michael, did about 2/3 of the job. Then claimed he was a devout Christain. Then ask for the total money. He even wanted to pray with us. However, after 9 weeks never showed up. Even set appointment date and time and never showed. Now refused to answer phone or text. Gave us a nasty message also. He lied to us and we have and several times. Now we have partically unfinished stairs look terrible and unsafe. Had another quote to someone else to finish. They pointed out the stair are not straight. Plus some other construction issues. BTW, when Michael Humphries call I response to our formal complaint, he was rude and hung up on me.

Very honest people. Very polite. They worked hard and together. At no time did I hear a cussword from any of the workers Were on time every day. If something happened to cause a delay the Supervisor would call and inform me. The work that was performed was just what we wanted. They did not cut corners . If something came up that did not look right they would come to me and explain the problem and make recommendation as how to correct it. I will be using them again.

He finished the main project, but there were two remaining things to be done that are yet to be completed. He has made three false promises to show up to compete them. He was paid his money but he don t keep his word.

When mike (the owner of the business) came out he commented that I was an attractive woman but he was not flirting He made this same comment each time he came to my home. Very inappropriate. Made me uncomfortable. Also he did not show up the day he promised. Did not call but showed up the next day and I had plans to be gone. He did not explain what he was going to do. He repaired some outside doors and put on a deadbolt. Doors still don t close and lock properly.

Hiring Mr Awnings is the best decision I've ever made concerning contractor work. I'm will hire him for his personality and skills as often as I need his workmanship. The cost was a value in itself.

I am very satisfied with Michael Humphries. He delivers on what is promised in a timely manner.

Bad experience, he does not show up as promised, does not stand by his work, he doesnt answer the phone. I would not recommend him to anyone. Made promise after promise to give me my warranty and I have yet to receive it. Advise to use someone else.

*THIS IS MY 2ND REVIEW. THE FIRST ONE WAS DELETED. DO NOT HIRE HIM* I paid Michael $850 on February 9th to repair sagging/wet floors by my back door and to replace my back door. He was going to put support from the bottom of the floor by going through the garage, which I knew would be good for a couple of years. I agreed to this, but what he put up was getting 2x4 pieces and nailed them into the side of my support beam, so the only support was actually on the beam itself. He took out my back door and replaced it. I really wish I could show pictures. I had to buy the trim for the inside of the house to be replaced around the door and that is crooked. He agreed he did not bring his nail sinking gun, so there were nails sticking out. He did not put replace the rotten wood underneath the threshold like we agreed to. He actually filled it with caulk. He left plywood exposed on the outside and put a layer of silicone caulk over it because he did not put down the metal flashing. There is a gap on the outside trim at the bottom which is allowing water to come in. I have blocked it off the best I could. I asked for $400 back out of the $850 (I gave him until the end of March and made my request 3/20) which is more than fair being as I have to hire someone else to fix the door. I have already paid out of pocket to have the floors repaired. I paid him in full because I trust people and he promised he would be back. I would NEVER hire him again for anything. He sent me a message after leaving this review (which again, somehow got deleted) calling me a silly woman and until I posted this review he was thinking about giving me back the $400 I asked for.

Michael was great to work with, worked very closely with me to make sure I was able to get exactly what I wanted.

He is very reliable and very courteous. He listens to what you need done and he made me feel very comfortable.

Mr. Awnings did a good job with my request of doors, cabinets and carport repairs. Michael is friendly, was on time, stayed until job was done completely and to my satisfaction.
