Joe was responsive to my inquiry about painting the interior of our home. Came to the house and gave an estimate promptly, including a detailed description of materials, type paint to be used and why, recommendations for minor repairs. He provided a written estimate by the next day. The crew was time each day and left for the day after they had cleaned up the house and vacuumed. This job requred painting over wallpaper, but Joe determined the paper would not take the paint and would probably bubble due to the moisture. So, the crew took two days to remove every piece of wallpaper and prepped the walls before painting. They keep a safe and tidy work place. The results are absolutely gorgeous. Far exceeded my expectations. the price was fair and reasonable, particularly considering the degree of care and craftsmanship they provided.

Joe is fantastic to work with as he is very professional and punctual. He kept me updated on progress and amazingly kept the house somewhat clean during the job considering the massive amounts of debris and dust this project creates. He was very considerate and I felt he treated my house as if it were his when it came to final clean up. His prices were very reasonable and we were very pleased with the end result! We are hiring Joe to paint two additional interior rooms next month.

I've had nightmares with painters-not showing up; showing up one day and dropping off the face of the earth; painting over dirt; cleaning their brushes in my garbage can; dumping paint in our garden; asking me questions every hour. So I dreaded having my house painted. But my old paint was noticeably faded and I had some visible wood damage. Mr. Dogil responded immediately to my request and came to my house promptly. After a thorough inspection, he advised me that I had a problem that couldn't be entirely addressed by a painting contractor and suggested that I also consult a roofer. It was good advise. The roofer came out and made some minor repairs. Mr. Dogil gave me an approximate starting date. Of course an actual starting date depends on things such as weather and other problems beyond the contractor's control. But Mr. Dogil stayed in touch and was able to start within a few days of his estimate . He appeared with a crew of competent people who spent more time preparing and pressure washing than anyone had ever spent on painting. All that prep work and the competent application of quality paint paid off. The place sparkles. My wife is really happy (the main thing). We've had painting done in the past thirty years, but this is the best experience we've ever had with a contractor.

We received five quotes for the work and Joe's bid was very reasonable. I had several specific problem areas that I wanted repaired. Joe was easy to work with and very responsive to my requests. We have a hedge close to the front of the house which made it difficult to access windows and place ladders. Joe worked around it and didn't damage the hedge.

I was very impressed with Joe and his crew - they did an absolutely beautiful job - our 100 year old house looks amazing! The crew was super nice, very professional, and obviously takes pride in their work. Great communication with Joe - easy to contact - responsive - did exactly what he said he would do - the crew was at the house when he said they would be - kept an incredibly clean job site - I have no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend Joe and will be contacting him again in the future.

We have used Joe for many of our interior painting projects. He is our go to guy for painting. He is punctual, has a good team, and does things the way I feel he would do them for his own home. He definitely wants to make sure you are happy and does things the right way. This recent project was to stain the deck. He suggested Deck Over restorative stain product. It is thicker and hides some of the aging on the wood. Product leaves the deck somewhat similar in texture and look to a synthetic wood deck. I'm very pleased. Our deck had a whole new life.

If you need someone to come paint the interior or exterior of your home, call Joe immediately! Joe had a full schedule when I called him about painting the interior of my home, but he wanted to come out and see what I had and give me a quote anyway. I'm glad he did. He worked around his own schedule and was able to begin work on my house the week after I got the quote. One IMPORTANT side note.... Before Joe was scheduled to begin work on my home, we had some pretty nasty cold weather come through the area. Through our discussions Joe knew we hadn't moved into the home yet and knew no one was staying there. Joe called me one evening to make some good recommendations on how to weather proof our home (drip faucets, turn heat up, hose bibb covers, etc) to ensure we didn't have any nasty surprises the next time we were there. Keep in mind this was BEFORE Joe had begun work on the property or before I had paid him a single nickel. This the kind of service you want from someone that's working on your HOME. Joe's price quote was extremely fair. Another highly rated company in the area quoted me a price that was 2.5 times what Joe quoted. Joe and his team were very punctual; they arrived when they said they would, and they cleaned up and left for the day when they said they would. His communication is top notch. If he's busy and cannot answer when you call, he will call you back. Finally, his quality of work leaves nothing to be desired. He recommended Behr Marquee for use in our home and we totally satisfied despite being Valspar Signature users in the past. I may even be a Behr man now! When it comes to your HOME, you always need to have "a guy." A "heating and AC guy", an "electrician guy", a "plumbing guy"... Joe is my "paint guy" and you won't be disappointed if you make him your paint guy too.

Everything went well despite the interruptions caused by rainy and cold weather. I did not realize that the paint used (Behr Marquee) could be applied at temperatures as low as 35 degrees, which was good considering the work conditions. The house looks new. Previous paint jobs were amateurish by comparison.

We purchased a house and wanted to remove the popcorn ceilings before we moved in. Joe indicated he would be able to meet our timeline. Joe and his crew showed up on time and even worked a Saturday to make sure they were finished in time. The quality of the work was very good and I would definitely use them again.

He does a very professional job. He painted my kitchen earlier and changed the color. He helped me select a pretty yellow color. He also repaired holes that were in my walls and ceiling. He is very good about choosing colors.

I could not be more pleased with this company and the work they did. JD, the owner, went above and beyond. He was very nice and accommodating and mindful of my budget. He even returned on a Saturday to redo my door because it didn't turn out the way he wanted initially. And didn't charge me any extra. He said he just wanted me to be satisfied. The painter he sent to do most of the work was professional, kind and respectful, and took excellent care of my home. I have already recommended them to several people and can highly recommend them to Angie's List members.

Very thorough and professional. Did it wonderfully the first time because of dedication to properly preparing. The house is almost 25 years old and they made sure all walls, ceilings, trim, nicks, holes, etc. were properly cleanded, patched and sanded prior to painting. The paint job is high quality. One room needed to have some faux finish redone. The owner, Joe, took the time to mock up 6 different samples/approaches for me to choose from. And he didn't stop working with me until everything was like it should be, high quality and looking good. I would highly recommend them.

I had previously hired JD Painting to paint the exterior of my house. Based on the quality of their work, I asked them to so some drywall repair on the inside of my house. They provided a written quote up front. The work was done promptly and to highest standards. Two additional points are worth mentioning. First, Joe tinted the primer to match the color of the walls (anticipating that it might take some time for me to complete the painting). Second, when the repair ended up costing less than the estimate, Joe refunded the difference. First rate work, attention to detail, and honest dealing. Joe and his team are as good as it gets. Highly recommended!

I contacted JD Painting based on information I found on Angie's List. Joe came out promptly and provided a written quote. The quote was the highest of the three I received. I opted to hire Joe based on the favorable reviews on Angie's list, and on his professionalism. He and his crew washed the areas to be painted, repaired two areas of wood rot, and caulked as needed. They painted siding, trim, doors, and the inside of a screened porch. The work was first rate. The crew was neat, pleasant, and completed the work in a timely manner. I was well pleased with all aspects of the job. JD Painting has my highest recommendation.

They did an excellent job and finished in a timely manner even though we decided on doing a color change in the middle of it. My wife was unhappy with the original color we had picked after some of the walls had been painted. So Joe met her at Home Depot to pick out a new color and then painted the walls again at no additional charge. They were happy to help and weren't even frustrated by the color change mid-job. We think the room and closet turned out wonderful and would use them again.

Showed up as scheduled. Very thorough, asked lost of good questions. This he suggested adding fit in very well what I was trying to do. Gave quote on the spot. Unfortunately, I ended up choosing a different provider with an similar but slightly lower price, and I know regret that choice. Will likely call JD to do my next painting job.

They did an excellent painting job on our kitchen. They were on time every day, cleaned up each day before leaving and were very professional in general. They were outstanding in every way. We would use them again.

They did an excellent job. They were on time and they did the work that they said that they would do. They also met the budget that they said that they would meet. I do not remember when they came out to do the work. My wife was probably the one who dealt with them because I travel quite a bit.

We had great customer experience with Joe and his crew. They did a tremendous job and we are very pleased with the end results !! Joe's team also went above and beyond the call of duty and helped us change a flat tire we had in one of our vehicles. We highly recommend Joe and his team !!

They are very friendly and obliging and easy to work with. There were just a couple of things, but everything was resolved easily and quickly.

Finishing the ceilings was very dusty work, but he effectively kept dust from escaping the work area by using sheet plastic in the doorways. The work area walls and objects in the work area were also draped in sheet plastic. He put drop cloths down to protect the flooring and carpet where he walked. The work took two and a half days. The ceiling finish and painting was excellent, and the clean up was thorough.

Mr. Dugan was extremely professional and competent. He thoroughly evaluated what needed to be done and thoroughly explained the process and timetable for completion. Mr. Dugan showed up with all materials and was careful not to damage any items in my home. I would highly recommend JD Painting and will call with any future jobs.

Very happy with the professionalism and service I received. Joe was quick to come out and give a quote. He spent time and even went into attic to make sure that the electrical cords we were pushing back into the wall to patch were dead and not powered for our safety. I also had a deadline for the master bedroom as we were expecting the arrival of furniture in the room and he and his team worked hard to complete the room in time and they did so. The quality of the paint work was very well done. Joe and his team were professional all around. While I think I could have found a little better price, I felt his price was fair and he did excellent work.
