Premier Painting and Carpentry

Started out well and the price was good. After receiving several draws on the job Anthony stopped showing up. He did not finish the job and the work that was done was sub par. The deck railing is coming apart in a few places and he did not finish building the landing or fixing the siding. He was paid nearly $20k and once he had been paid he disappeared. My elderly parents were living in the house. He was kind to them but he did not finish the job and what he did do was not properly done.

The performance was way below par. The water heater was raised and placed on a wood box which was not leveled and left the water heater wobbling with the top moving up to 4 inches from plumb. The exhaust was just thrown on top and and fell off when I drove my vehicle into the garage. When admonished about the sub par quality of work Anthony Lett first called me a liar, and when confronted with photographic evidence proceeded to tell me that it was not a big deal. One of the reasons for the poor quality of work may be the fact that Anthony employs young undocumented immigrants fro Central America who obviously lack experience.

Anthony Lett and Premier Painting & Carpentry failed to complete remodel jobs for which they were paid in full. Anthony Lett and Premier Painting & Carpentry abandoned the jobs for which they were paid. This is a big disappointment to me and my company.

Anthony and his crew are awesome! I had to order a range and he told me who to call and he even went by to pick it up and brought it to the home and installed it. He was through with this job in 2 days. While he was there he saw more repairs that needed to be addressed, sent us a quote which was very reasonable. He's honest and does a great job. He even made photos of before and after and sent them to us. We will continue to use Anthony in the Pensacola area and surrounding area. He stays in contact via phone, text and email. He's always available.

After deck built and siding half done it was looking nice paid $$3500 plus material but later deck was not built to code per city of Gulf Shores see cities findings below but not done. I had to have the deck pulled apart and redone spending $4000 more plus material costs for someone else to do it right. As far as the new door to deck, he just nailed the frame into the opening and did not set the door in correctly. He did not finish the pergola on the deck and as far as the bathrooms. This man gutted the bathrooms after paying $5200 upfront to cover materials and half of down payment, he kept making excuses he would be back to finish that he had other jobs with a rental company in Gulf Shores to take care of then I never heard from him again. It's been over a month now. I sent text messages but no reply. BEWARE!!!! Do not hire this man! He does terrible work! If you do hire him, GET A CONTRACT!
