Deck Works

The work was done well and efficiently. Deck was completed in two days.

Jeff and his son did an excellent job. They were very professional, courteous and timely during all stages of the process. Questions were answered fully, and the work was bid, performed, and completed timely. We are thrilled with our new deck and recommend Deck Works with no reservations.

We had our deck covered and screened. It looks beautiful. The workers were punctual and came at the time they said they would each day and worked until dark, and sometimes beyond. Deck Works used quality materials and the price was very fair. They worked with us through various stages of our changing the plans a little. We also had 10' wide steps removed and rebuilt in another area.

For quite a few years, we have been discussing a remedy to the mosquito challenge of the south. After deciding on a porch that would be usable year-round, we knew we wanted something no-so-typical. Jeff and his company met those requirements. He is professional, courteous, and conscientious. We worked on the detail of the design together,. Not wanting the screening to reach from floor to roof line because of our dogs, Jeff built a 20" +/- wall that works out perfectly. The porch, with it's pitched roof, exposed beams, and low-lighting is a pleasurable place to relax any time of the day.

Jeff and his crew did an excellent job building our new deck. The young men who worked relentlessly all day long on two very hot days were very polite and professional. Jeff's demeanor and style of working with these young men was admirable as he guided them gently in more of a teaching manner. Overall the experience was positive and we love our new deck.

Jeff was prompt in building our deck. He was more than helpful in coordinating with the delivery of our hot tub and stayed later than planned when the delivery ran late. He was also to quick to respond to questions afterward. He takes pride in performing a good job and pleasing his customers.

This couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. I contacted Jeff about the project, and he came to my house the next week to take measurements and consult on a design. He had a lot of good ideas and insight regarding the design. I had a basic idea of what we wanted, but Jeff was very helpful in drawing up a good design. He had to jump through numerous hoops with the FL government to be able to do the job on the up and up, but he diligently did so and provided me with updates. As a result, we had to wait a little while for the work to get started, but it was worth it... Jeff and his employee showed up exactly when they said they would and promptly began work. Demo took one day and construction took two days. I was very pleased with how fast it went. Jeff took the time to explain all of the options to me as he went and thoroughly consulted me on their pros and cons before they would move forward with something. I really appreciated the fact that he had my best interests in mind. He talked me out of a couple choices which, now that I see the finished product, would have been poor ones. As for the quality of the work, it is impeccable. Every cut and measurement was made with precision, and the finish of the materials and labor is flawless. The deck totally transforms the feel of our backyard. We went from a dark, dingy screened porch with a low roof that blocked all the light from coming into our house, to a stunning outdoor space where people actually want to be. Dealing with Deck Works was a pleasure. Jeff and his employees were respectful and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. Payment was not requested until all work was complete. I would not hesitate to hire this company again, and will heartily recommend them to friends in the future.

Jeff met with us to understand our needs and desires for the decks we needed. He was very helpful and informative in picking the most cost effective materials and design. Deck works did an amazing job with our screened porch and decks. Their work is grade A and Jeff Snyder (owner )made all the right recommendations when asked. My wife and I have little experience with porches and decks and Jeff did a great job listening to our questions and concerns. His crew was very prompt and Jeff was on site working every day during construction. We made additions during the project and Jeff and his team promptly provided quotes and the necessary information to help us decide where to add space.
