C & C SIDING

Siding installation was excellent and trim was precise with two problems. During the first storm after installation, 2 major sections of siding came off. C&C was responsive in re-installing the sections plus re-anchoring one other section that was poorly attached. The other problem was that one long piece of flashing was the wrong color. I had paint from them and simply painted the flashing the correct color. Part of the siding was not installed because we were replacing a porch. When the porch was replaced, I contacted C&C to finish the job at least 5 times with no response. Finally Chuck just 'showed up' one day and they installed the siding. Gutter installation 'looked good' but they ran out of material and didn't install one downspout, which I OK'd. After about two months, three of my gutters were backing up. Two of them had gutter-to-gutter downspouts that were too long, causing clogging, and one of the gutters was installed with a backward slope. I contacted C&C repeatedly but they never responded. I waited this long to write my review because I wanted to see if their installation was durable. It has been very durable and all of the siding and trim has retained its integrity. I am planning to re-side another home and will use C&C (if they ever return my calls), but I will carefully inspect their installations; especially their gutter installations.

Excellent! I previously had them do my siding and had them back again to do the gutters. They do quality work at a reasonable price.

He did a fine job with the quote, he just had too high of a price. I didn't have any problem with him, he just didn't want to do anything for the rotten windows that he had caused in an earlier job. I took pictures of all the rot to show him what he was dealing with, and it was due to the fact that they had not covered the existing windows right. Everyone who came out to quote said the windows were rotten, and he said the same thing, and he did it. It took a while to get ahold of them. I wouldn't use them again.

They're work was fine. The gentleman explained to me that they may need to add another downspout for drainage, to just let them know after a heavy rain and they would come put up another one. I called them after a heavy rain and agreed that we did need another downspout. He said he would be right out. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. We STILL need another downspout.

C and C did the vinyl siding and gutters on our house several years ago. They did a good job. When we added a garage addition, we naturally got C and C to do the gutters.

They did the job in a timely manner and clean up was good.

The work was done as quoted, and the company was responsive to come back and fix problems. The workmanship on the windows left a little to be desired however, they were unable to trim around a couple of half round transomes as they had the other windows so they are somewhat unfinished and inconsistant with the rest of the windows. Also, I have noticed that much of my interior trim around the windows has gaps in the seams. Workmanship on the vinyl siding was better but not perfect. Cleanup was sloppy - I am still finding slivers of siding and brackets in my flower beds.

I sent an email but did not get a response, so I gave it a few days and called the office. A young lady transferred me to a sales rep (I think he was the owner, second generation), he explained how they worked and we decided to get an estimate. A couple of days later, he called me back with an estimate that was very much in line with two previous quotes I had recieved. All of the other data he provided was in line as well like the guage, color, number of downspouts. I gave them the "go ahead" knowing it would be about 10 days. Right about 10 days later we came home and we had gutters on our home. Perfect. A few days later a young lady called me & I gave her my credit card over the phone; two days later I received my receipt. It has rained since & they worked fine. I would not know anyone connected to any aspect of the job if I bumped into them on the street. It was PERFECT. Know hassle, no meetings. The were friendly, professional & easy to deal with. A great experience. They have earned my trust & I would definately use them again. Thanks C&C.

We got several estimates for replacing our old gutters. Chuck from C&C was very professional, gave us a fair price, and convinced me through his demeanor and thoroughness that they would do a good job. Once I had signed the bid, he could not give us a start date, because he said his crew goes from job to job in order as they finish them. This was a minor inconvenience since we have an outside dog, but it was not anything that could be helped. It would have been nice if his crew could have called us before coming over, but that didn't happen. At any rate, the work was done just as Chuck said it would be, and we couldn't be happier with the way the gutters look and perform. Excellent job.
