Jason showed up on time and changed the water heater and kept his original quote even though it took longer than expected for him to have to change it due to issues outside of his control. He is courteous, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I hope never to have plumbing issues but if (when if I'm realistic) I do, he will definitely be the one I call. Thank you, Jason!

Only needed the element replaced and they did that straight away. Also answered some questions that I had about our house which we had recently purchased. Very helpful.

I am very pleased with Jason and his crew. Very professional. After spending at least 1 hour investigating what was going on, they did not even charge me for their time, service call, etc. I am excited that I have found a plumber I can trust. They certainly could have taken advantage of the situation, like some plumbers I have used in the past. I highly recommend Chapman Plumbing. I plan on using these guys when we start renovating our home in Vestavia.

Called Chapman plumbing on Monday morning they were able to fit us in for Tuesday afternoon. When they arrived they diagnosed the problem as 2 different clogs instead of the 1 that I thought it might be. The crew was efficient and friendly. They cleared both clogs and accepted the 5% Angies list discount. I would recommend them to anyone. Great job. Affordable rate.

My wife and I were leaving to run some errands and when we went to the garage, she asked me "what's all this water doing here?". That is never a question you want to be asked when you are in your basement. Our water heater had sprung a leak. I turned the supply valve off and drained the vessel and decided that since we were on the way to Home Depot anyway, we'll just get them to come replace it in the next day or so. After the clean-up, we were about to leave again and I noticed a hiss coming from the supply line as if the valve was not all the way shut. I reached up to give it a nudge and it spun in my hand and water began to rush back into the water heater. After finding out the hard way that the two shut off valves that I thought were to shut off water to the house actually did not, I decided to let the vessel fill back up and guide the leaking water into an ice chest. That is when we called Jason. I got his number from Angie's List and decided to go with him over the mega-plumbers because he was based close to us and had good reviews. He was on a job when I called him, but said he would come over as soon as he was done. This was about 5pm or so. We went to grab a bite to eat and by the time we got back, he was there and had already shut off the water at the street. He surveyed the issues, gave me a quote, showed me where my actual shut-offs were (the correct ones at the street and the in the house, which is above a finished ceiling in the basement), and got us butttoned up for the night with a plan to come back in the morning to replace the water heater. He showed up around 9am and jumped right on it. About an hour and a half later, we had a new water heater. He also helped us fill out the paperwork to get a rebate from the gas company. He even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was ok. Based on our experience with Jason, I would definitely recommend Chapman Plumbing to anyone and will be calling them again when I need a plumber.

No one bothered to call me back. This has happened with other service providers that have gotten an A on this site as well.

I've called Chapman Plumbing on a few occasions now and am always pleased with their work. I had to call them two days in a row this week to come out and clear some clogged drain lines, the jobs unrelated to each other. Jason is always responsive and able to get the job done when I need it. On both occasions, the situations were an emergency and he was able to fit me into his busy schedule. I am very pleased to have found a plumber I can finally trust and won't look further when I need work done.

They were able to get to my job quickly and performed the replacement quickly. My only complaints are lack of cleanup and I would've liked an overview of the new heater. Items that were moved to provide access to the heater were not put back, which wouldn't be a big deal except I've had back surgery and some of them were very heavy for me to move. They also left the large box from the new heater, with trash in it. As for an overview: of course the heater came with a manual, but it would have been nice to know where it was as well as to have had a quick rundown of the temperature settings, as I almost burned my hands the first time I turned the hot water on. Otherwise I was pleased overall.

Jason answered my phone call and made immediate plans to do the repair for a busted water pipe due to the recent cold weather. He and Bryan were there within an hour, and assessed the damage, planned the repairs and performed them immediately. I had water restored to the house within 2 hrs of my initial phone call. His explanations were simple, efficient and straight to the point, and they not only solved my immediate problems, but gave me excellent advice on how to move forward and avoid this situation in the future. It was truly a pleasure to meet them and work with them. They did a great job!!

My husband and I were replacing a toilet on New Years Day only to discover that our water line was leaking while the main water supply was shut off. We feared turning the water back on and knew we needed a plumber to come take a look before proceeding. Being that is was a holiday, we were worried about finding someone that would come out that day. I came across Chapman Plubming on angie's list and gave them a call. Jason was at our house within 20 minutes! He fixed the water valve and made sure we were all set. While he was looking at the water line in the crawl space, he also noticed some rotted joists underneath our adjacent master bathroom due to previous water damage. This was a huge red flag that we hadn't even been made aware of from the home inspection just 2 months earlier when we were buying the house. If not for Jason, we wouldn't have even known that damage was there and would've soon began using that bathroom in the house as well, which would've been hazardous. Jason was extremely helpful in advising us on how to proceed with that issue. What was just one simple valve being replaced in one bathroom turned into invaluable advice of another completely unrelated issue. Of course, I'm sure we paid the premium for emergency service on a holiday ($110 for labor/ $20 for parts) but it was what I expected and just happy we could turn the water back on that day! I also had to call Jason to come back out the next day to see if our toilet line was clogged. He checked both toilets, which were fine, and was in and out in 10 minutes. He didn't charge us at all for the brief visit. Very happy with his service and wlll be using again in the future for all plumbing needs!

It went super. I called on a Saturday, and Jason showed up at our house very quickly. He went right to work and had the job finished in 2 hours. He was very pleasant, and I really appreciated such quick service on a Saturday. He was patient explaining to me what work he was doing, and he also had suggestions for maintaining our system and for future issues that we'll be needing to address. We will gladly use him in the future, as I felt like he was very skilled and trustworthy.

Jason is awesome. He came to our home about two weeks ago to give us an estimate. He showed up promptly as scheduled and gave us the estimate. Then as we were shopping for hardware we would send him emails asking whether selections would actually fit. He always responded to our emails promptly. We finally got the faucets in and Jason came today to install them. Great job and with a smile. Could not be more satisfied. We plan on having Jason back soon to replace a couple of old toilets with more current and efficient models. THANKS JASON!!!

Jason was great to work with. After his initial visit I communicated with him by both phone and email a few times before he began the work and he patiently answered all my questions. His final price was the exact quote he gave us to begin with. No surprises and a quality job all around.

Jason and his assistant were on time, professional, friendly, and hard-working. They went out of their way to make sure the job was done correctly and in a timely fashion. When installing our new sink, we realized that our counter top had to be cut a small amount in order to fit the new sink. Jason called contractors and sub-contractors he knew in order to find someone who could come out quickly to cut the counter top. When the faucet he installed became a little loose about two months after installation, he came back right away and repaired it at no charge. At our request, he also took a look at a couple of our toilet tanks at no charge in order to assess whether or not the tanks needed new parts, and he did not pressure us into making unnecessary repairs. Jason and his team are knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and very helpful. We highly recommend them.

All this work was for a home we just bought. We called him on Friday and he came out on Saturday morning to check our water heaters pilot light and gas lines. He arrived on time and bled the gas lines before lighting the pilot light. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the service and operation of a gas water heater, which was new to us.. After making sure the water heater was functioning properly, he checked the water pressure with most of the home's faucets running and that all the toilets flushed properly. At this time, we noticed almost all the sinks' faucets were leaking around the handles. He attempted to manually tighten them, but when that didn't work he ran to the hardware store to buy rebuild kits for the faucets and installed them. All faucets worked fine afterwards. He was very professional and efficient. We would recommend him to others and use him again in the future. When asked about other projects we were considering, he was very informative and was able to provide knowledgeable suggestions. As a side note, he was comfortable around our pets.

Reinstall cabinet sink and reconnect water and drain. Install and connect new toilet. Replaced Two Toilets Purchase toilets and seats we requested. Removed two toilets. Installed two new toilets. Fix Leaking Outdoor Faucet Removed old faucet. Installed new faucet. Installed ice maker water line. Repositioned refrigerator. Installed water line with shut-off valve from home water system to refrigerator. Placed refrigerator in previous location.

The man was extremely professional and well attired. He was knowledgeable as well. My only comment would be that they are obviously forced to try to upsell you service and I do not like that. I told him "I know you have to do this, but I'm not going to be swayed". He still persisted, but the work was done immediately. Overall, I am thrilled with the results. I would absolutely hire them again.

He does a very good job. I have been using him for about 1 year. He is very responsive. He is well-mannered and a good worker.

He was very nice, but I feel that the price was a little high. He charged too much considering how long it took him to do the work. I felt he may have charged me more because of my accent. He thought I didn’t know anything. The work was perfectly okay. I have no problem with the work. He was a gentleman, but it was just too expensive.
