Description of Work: Build back yard fence. In 2007, he build approx. 60'x 50' multi-purpose building for me - did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Put up a board on board cedar privacy fence, also made a 20 x 10 chain link dog pen inside the new fence, that material was from the old fence. He also removed part of my existing deck.

Description of Work: I'll put the "bottom line" up front - Lanny Kimbrell built the finest "shadow box" fence I've seen anywhere off the rear of my house, and I'm completely satisfied in every way. Here are some specifics - to include some of the "upgraded features" built into my fence. 1. It is approx. 6' tall, and has 3 gates - one of which is 12' wide. 2. He is an excellent carpenter, and builds to last. a. Everything is "square", and precisely measured and cut. b. He installed five "ribs" (the 2" x 4"'s which the fence boards are nailed to), instead of three. c. He used 6" x 6" posts for all of the gates, rather than 4" x 4" posts. d. He used 3 1/2" screws throughout, rather than nails. e. He laid the 2" x 4" "rails" flat, which makes the post "disappear" into the fence, and provides increased visibility and airflow through the fence. f. He used upgraded fence boards compared to the chearer grade offered by another well-known company I consulted. g He did not skimp on the concrete - a full bag for each 4" x 4" post - and 2 bags for the 6" x 6" posts. h. And, lastly, the gates/gate hardware look and function great!
