He didn't start on time b/c of other jobs put before ours. We were not there after he began but we could not tell anything he had done from week to week most of the time. One day my wife stayed there to see what they were doing. Chris, the supervisor never showed up. His crew came at 9:00 and one stayed on the phone in his truck for about 20 minutes while the others waited around. They all stopped for long breaks throughout the day to talk on the phone. They left early for lunch and met their families for a large buffet lunch for almost 2 hours. They brought their families back with them, came into my house while I was there without knocking. I left and when I got back at 3:00 they were gone.that day. All day long they only put up a few boards, which could have been done in less than 1 hour in my opinion. We told Chris what had happened. He promised to do better and supervise them. He didn't. We had to go to Boston and he asked for $2000. (can't remember for sure about the amount) to buy insulation while we were gone. He never bought it or gave us back the money. Soon after that he fell off a house and broke his legs. We gave him 6 weeks before we contacted him. He said his uncle was going to finish our job. He never showed up. This happened over and over. Finally we asked for an accounting of the money that we had paid him and what he had done with the insulation money. He could not find any of our tickets. He had no record of the hours worked. He never refunded us any money and even said that he did probably did more than the $90,000 that we paid him, which was ridiculous! We paid him for weeks of work that we never say ANY progress. We had to hire others to do the addition which now makes our house worth less than what we have in it and we did much of the work ourselves. Don't Hire Chris Campbell from Gadsden, Alabama We were fools to trust him.
Description of Work: He was to build an addition to our house. He was to always be there with his Crew to supervise. He was to keep up with itemized bills and hours worked to show us the cost and time. He told us he had a license. He didn't
