Brewster Home Inspections

I have used Brewster Inspections for several home purchases. He has always been very punctual and professional and thorough. He has been very helpful in making a decision as to purchasing the home he is inspecting or not. He is quite knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Mr. Brewster showed up a few minutes early for our appointment. He was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. He was extremely thorough with his inspection. It took roughly 2 1/2 hours for him to complete the inspection. I had a written report with pictures on every aspect of the home that needed to be addressed within 48 hours. I was very pleased with the service.

I called the contractor about 2 weeks ago and scheduled a home inspection on a 100 year old home that I recently inherited from a relative. Upon his arrival he saw that I had outside dogs, which were fenced and out of his way, and immediately without a greeting asked if the house was and quot;flea infestedand quot;. I informed him that there were no fleas in the house as the dogs were outside and since I live in the home I could say with certainty that it was not an issue. He stated that he would go and get his gear then upon reaching his vehicle called my cellphone to inform me that he had and quot;changed his mind and is not interested in inspecting anything with fleasand quot;. I again made it clear to him that there are no fleas in the house and if he would come into the house he would see that to which he responded that he and quot;never walks away from a job but he's going to walk away from this one because the house must be unsafe with all the fleasand quot;. I have no fleas in my home and anyone who has been here can attest to that fact. The contractor was both incredibly rude and unprofessional while refusing to perform the agreed upon service based on an assumption he made after seeing that I have dogs. I would strongly suggest to anyone seeking to hire a home inspector that they find someone who has the professionalism and integrity to stand behind their agreements and perform quality services which leaves Mr. Brewster lacking in both regards.

Emailed company one evening and he had responded to my email by the next morning before I awoke. Received an appointment within a couple of days. Mr. Brewster was very professional. He arrived before the appointment time. He was very thorough. The home is around 2500 sq. ft. and he spent approx. 3- 4 hours to do the inspection. Received an email the next day with the full report attached, and a hard copy in the mail within one week. Everything that was on the report that needed attention was exactly as he had in the report. Because of his report I have purchased the home and the seller has made the necessary repairs. I would highly recommend this company.

The appointment was for 10 am, but because the GPS systems were not updated properly everyone (realtor, myself, and inspector) had difficulty finding the location. I ended up having to leave before the inspector arrived because I was suffering with appendicitis. The inspector still did a very thorough job because he ended up pointing out the same and more possible issues than my personal home contractor.They were also very kind about receiving payment because the deal was for me to pay the inspector directly, but I had to leave early. Even though they were not receiving their payment immediately, they still performed the inspection and sent me a copy of the inspection via email before I even had a chance to send out their payment. Then, I received a formal paper copy of the report within a few days. They were very kind, patient, and respectful of my situation. I will DEFINETLY use them again in the future,
