Worst service ever. I wasted considerable time preparing for this provider's service calls, and he failed in every respect. See above.

I was very anxious to resolve this problem, especially as it was on a Saturday, but Derek Potter of Star Electric answered my call quickly and was able to arrive even earlier than promised. He quickly and efficiently discovered what the issue was with the electricity, after initially checking the fuse box to ensure all was in order there. After I told him I had been cleaning the ceiling light/fan in the master suite, Derek disassembled that system and found a wiring issue, which he quickly corrected. Apparently when the ceiling light/fan was installed some years ago, it was not done properly and the wiring was such that it could have started an electrical fire at some point. So I was grateful that Derek had found the issue which could have been a safety concern. He was very professional and informative in explaining everything to me, and also showed me some additional pointers about the fuse box and my electric systems.

Eric Stroh was wonderful! Electrical service he provided was A+! I have a1950 house that needs updating and he knew exactly what I needed. Prices were absolutely on point. Eric was very professional and truly respected our home. Thank you, Star Electric and Eric Stroh. I'll be a loyal customer for many, many years to come.

John came out to see my projects and gave me the quote the same day. Eric called later that night and to set up a scheduled time and actually fit me in sooner than originally scheduled. They worked well with my schedule in getting the project done before the new year saving me from taking a day off. Once they arrived to my house on time they both were very professional and informative about any questions that I asked. During the install John noticed that my original flood lights did not have boxes installed for fire protection. He added the boxes while staying within the given quote making the house safer from fire. They worked fast and through lunch to complete the job in a quality manner. I plan to call back to complete any other electrical projects in the future. A+ for everything. My sidewalk is now well lit at night. Worth every penny.

The installation was smooth, quick and done right. The guys were here on schedule and as usual, very professional in getting the job done right. I found them on Angie's List and will use them anytime I need electrical work done in the future. I cannot say enough about this company, they are tops in every category. I highly recommend Star Electric if you are in need of their services.

Eric and team are wonderful. They were very professional, efficient, and worked with our schedule. Our restaurant is closed from 2.30 till 5.00. They finished their job within that time frame. Would definitely recommend them. Sandeep India Palace Restaurant

Eric and his team are awesome, 2nd time I've used them, larger job this time. showed up when they said they would, completed the job in a timely fashion, helped me out with some design questions, all together great job. Looks fantastic, cant wait to get the insulation and drywall up, he'll be back to do the finish work (light fixtures, receptacles, smoke detector).

Initially called Star Electric after finding them on Angie's List and reading reviews. My experience with first Jason, the young electrician who bid the work, and next with the service provided by both he and the owner, exceeded expectations. Not only did they give a competitive price, but kept the price quoted and arrived and stayed within the time frame promised. They were conscientious, followed through, left no mess and labeled the work at the breaker box. Having dealt with a number of service businesses in the past, I've found very few that provided exceptional service across the board, but Eric Stroh and Jason, the young electrician who assisted him, were both very professional, considerate to my elderly father,and worked swiftly and efficiently. They did exactly as they promised and I will be referring co-workers, family and friends to them in the future. Needless to say, I will be calling on them again.

I called to have the outside receptacles on my house replaced and wound up doing that, having two new receptacles put in my kitchen, and had a pendant light put over my sink in the kitchen. This all happened within one day. From the initial phone call to Eric until the projects were finished was only a few hours. I called on the same day as the service was performed. Eric gave me a "head's up" when his workmen would be arriving (Johnny and Jason) and they also called to verify the time and arrived as expected. They were courteous, professional, cleaned up their mess and did a GREAT job. The light fixture looks great and all receptacles are working perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the guys. I will use them again without hesitation. Great Job Star Electric.

Eric took the call amid a very noisy background that made communication difficult. He was told there was no wall switch and he asked if there was a wall switch and became defensive when he was told he'd already been given that information. Eric quoted a price of $129 for this simple service and said the fee would be assessed the moment he took his tool belt off his truck, despite the fact the company advertises no service fee and posts hours until 10:30 pm seven days a week as their regular hours here on Angie's List. Eric implied the cost was due to his inconvenience at the timing of our call. We did not use Star and do expect to ever call them again at any time of day, given the brusque treatment and high dollar quote handed down.

We were very pleased. This is for a rental property, and our renters were very impressed. Eric answered the phone and scheduled the service himself and called to let me know the requested work was completed. He then made a recommendation re: further work and asked for approval prior to completing this work. He charged exactly what he said he would and worked with me on the billing since I live out of town. He is now my "go-to" electrical guy!! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.

Eric was very punctual and came immediately to give me an estimate. He was willing to come the following day, but I had a prior appointment, so he came on the following Monday. They were again very punctual and professional and got right to work. They were very good at answering my questions and concerns. He even stopped and made calls to be sure the cans they provided were able to have insulation on them. He was willing to replace them with others, but the ones he had were the correct ones for the job. He replaced the light over the kitchen sink and it worked but he felt that it required more and upon investigation found that they had to install an outlet box and rewire the fixture. It was the right and safe thing to do and I am thankful that he went the extra mile to be sure it was right and not just working. Eric even came back several days later and put the lights in and checked them for no extra charge after the ceiling had been installed and dried. Excellent service and I will definitely use them in the future!

The former problem was corrected. The new electrical system installed by Star Electrical, LLC, is functionally correct, and I don't have to worry about my house burning down! I knew the previous installation wasn't correct, and it looked awful - but I'm not an electrician - so I highly recommend that you hire Star Electric, LLC. They are competent and certified; and you cannot put a price on peace of mind regarding the systems in your home. Do it right the first time!

This company is amazing. Eric and his associate arrived on time. Very professional from their mannerism to there uniforms. The price was awesome. I will be calling them later in the week to come out and do more work. Would recommend this company to anyone that needs electrical work.

I do not live in Montgomery so had to do everything over the phone. Eric was very helpful and gave me options. A week earlier a different contractor (sent by my property manager) had jury-rigged the AC and it had to be re-done. City inspector passed all the new wiring. Star Electric was prompt and professional in every way and I would use them again.

Awesome work for a great and reasonable price. Eric was half the price of the highly advertised local companies. Eric and his guys even moved an air vent so my can lights could be evenly spaced. He did work that was not in the quote. I have and will recommend Star Electric in any and every one! I have other projects in mind and will use Eric and Star Electric again!

I have an electrical engineering education so I used to do all this kind of work for myself and am very familiar with exactly what needed to be done for these little jobs. I picked Star to do the work because of the questions they asked about what I wanted done when I called them, so I made an appointment with them for the next day. Two of the owners of Star Electric showed up right at the time they said they would be there and started to work immediately. It was clear they both knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it quickly and properly. They worked together when it made sense, and worked individually on different parts of the job instead of one of them standing around waiting for the other fo finish something. The vent fan and the fluorescent light were installed very neatly, and the ceiling fan was rewired as I had requested, and everything was done and thoroughly cleaned up (my wife liked that) in about an hour and a half. The price was substantially less than I anticipated, and was way, way less than the price I was quoted for this work by another electric company. I could not have been more pleased.

Awesome company! Eric was at my house Saturday, provided a quote that was fantastic, we coordinated a Sunday installation. One of his employees "John" called me up and came over, very polite professional and courteous, went above and beyond on the installation, superior work. Couldn't have asked for a better job, at better price. Definitely recommend and will use them again for all Electrical needs. Thanks so much!!!

These guys are great!! I originally called another service provider who changed me way too much for a band aide fix and quoted me a ridiculous price for a permanent fix; I felt very taken advantage of! When I called Star Electric they made time to come and take a look at my problem quickly. They fixed my problem quickly and for less than half of the price the other company quoted. Star Electric's quality of work and professionalism was outstanding and would recommend them to anyone.

They provided excellent service. One of the few companies that had an actual person scheduling appointments. I was able to schedule in a timely manner. The electrician arrived on time and finished in a timely manner. I would use them again.

Star Electric were fantastic. After getting a few quotes on the work, Star offered to do the work at the best price. They were prompt and very professional. They explained what they were repairing and why. After having one light fixture installed in my kitchen, I realized that I had made a mistake and selected a light that did not provide enough illumination. When I found a new light, they removed the old one and installed the new one AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. After the work was done, they followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work. The level of customer service provided by Star Electric was absolutely phenomenal. If friends or family ever ask me for a recommendation for an electrician, I will point them to Star Electric without hesitation. If you ever need any electrical work done, call them.

The lighting around my house was very dim and oftentimes, the street light was inoperable. Not any more!!! Thanks to Star Electric, my house is well lit and looks great! Star Electric did an excellent job on installing the outdoor lights. They installed the lights in a professional and timely manner. The cost was reasonable for the amount of work involved. In addition, they installed a ceiling fan at my mother's house and once again, their work was exceptional. I highly recommend Star Electric for any electrical work.... Ask for Eric!!!

We had a problem with our dryer and the power company serviceman came out and told us there was nothing wrong with the dryer, that it was an electrical problem and we would need an electrician. Eric had done very good work for us before, so we immediately thought to call him and he was here in about 15 minutes and put in a new 110 line that had stopped working. He is always prompt, courteous and is able to diagnose and fix any problem.
