+ -1 moreIt went very well. Shane was on time for the appointment he explained in detail over the phone what it would take to get the tub back to its original state. He provided a senior citizen discount as his ad says. It was my mom's tub and around the time that Shane did the service she was in the hospital. He never questioned me about where she was but took my word for it, and handed me back $20 dollars. I will definitely be using him again for other jobs as well and would highly recommend him to anyone needing this service done.

Description of Work: Chemical clean, repair holes, & clear coat glaze on fiberglass tub/shower combo with surround and fiberglass shower stall. Prompt response for estimate. Even told me how to do it myself. Returned with crew at the time and date scheduled and completed the work in about 4 hours. Excellent result. Shower had black stain from aluminum walker legs. Got out all stains. Holes were repaired flawlessly; cannot see where grab bars were attached to the tub. Clear coat makes everything shine almost like new. Removed old caulking and re-caulked inside shower seams; looks great. Overall very professional job at very reasonable price. If not for the good work to restore both units, we would have replaced both at tremendous expense.

Description of Work: We had an issue with some marks on our hot tub and what we thought was a crack. We set an appointment with Shane, he called before he came, was on time and took a look at our tub. He gave me some suggestions for removing the marks (which I had asked for), checked what turned out not to be a crack and he didn't charge us for this call. I would certainly use Shane again and would recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their tub.

+ 1 moreShane was on time, very efficient, and explained what he was going to do. Excellent work and the tubs look much better. Shane said tubs did not need to be re-glazed. Cleaned up area after he finished. Highly pleased with his work.
Description of Work: Did chemical wash for two tubs. Buffed out scratches that could be buffed out. Concealed scratches that could not be buffed out. Removed existing caulk and re-caulked. Clear-coated both tubs.

Description of Work: He responded to phone call very promptly. He said he would be at my house within the hour and he arrived in 40 mins. Right away after inspecting my tub he assured me that it didn't need to be reglazed. He assured me that to do that it would be money wasted. I truly respected his honesty!

+ 0 moreMy husband and I went to Columbus to do some yard work on our rental property while there were no renters in the house. When we went inside to take a quick look around to make sure all was neat and clean we were shocked and surprised to see the damage to the bathtub attached to the master bedroom, we now knew why our house wasn’t renting. When we returned to Austell we had no idea who to use for such a job so I turned to Google and up popped Angie’s List as well as some other names in the Columbus area that did tub repair. We decided that the membership in Angie’s List would be money well spent. From the list we called Tub Repair and Glaze, I explained the situation to Shane and told him I couldn’t meet him at the house, would he please contact the rental agency to used their key, which he very kindly did. He viewed our tub the same day, called and gave me his quote to repair the tub (which was VERY reasonable). He worked my property in the next day, and refused to be paid until the work could be viewed so that I was pleased (I sent my daughter, who lives in Columbus). To put it plainly, Shane was amazing. I am so glad I joined Angie’s List, I know that I would have never found Shane, and then who knows what would have happened or what it would have cost. FYI, happy ending to the story, our house was viewed four times over the weekend after Shane repaired our tub and now our house is rented.
