Description of Work: Fall heating and air checkup on very short notice. I really appreciate them squeezing me in due to my narrow window of availability. Quick and efficient and cheaper than expected!

Excellent experience. I called 3 companies at 8pm expecting answering machines. One didn't have one, another did, this one had an answering service that took my call and my information as well as a message. I was told someone would call me first thing in the morning. Less than 30 minutes later, the owner (James) called me to ask me what he could do for me. I told him our AC unit had quit working and that my husband tried and failed to fix it himself. He took down the additional info he needed from me and set up a time in the morning for him to come look at my unit and try to see what was wrong. James called the next morning to let me know he was on his way. He showed up, on time, introduced himself and asked me to show him the unit. I brought him out to it and he went to work. Every question I asked him he promptly answered as best he could. He tried replacing several things that cause typical problems, when that didn't work he talked to me about my options. I felt like he was genuine about everything he said and he did not pressure me to buy a new unit. He simply laid out my options and left me to discuss it with my husband while he went to his truck to get a definite price on a new unit. Our unit had been repaired so many times in the past (before we bought the house), that he said the unit would eventually need to be replaced if we decided to have him repair it. We decided to go with a new unit. He gave us a quote and told us he would have the unit ready first thing in the morning (it was late day already). The next morning he was out with a coworker to install the unit. The only bad thing that happened was that he accidentally gave us a quote for the wrong unit and he had already picked it up and brought it out. He sincerely apologized and told us how bad he felt for his mistake, and told us the unit we actually needed was $300 more expensive than the one he quoted us for. He told us that he could still do it that day though, he would unhook the old one and then go get the new one and install it. Which he did. We did both the inside and outside portions and got a 10 year warranty. 1 year parts and labor, then 9 additional years for parts. He finished in stalling the unit and made sure to stay long enough to know that the unit had no leaks, and was working properly. Which was about 30 minutes to an hour. He was very thorough. When he was done with that, he sat me down with the paperwork and explained everything in as much detail as I asked for, the warranty, the unit, and answered any questions i had for him. He also gave us a new thermostat (which he hooked up) to replace the ancient one we had before. After all that he took our payment and told us to call him if anything ever happened with it and that he would make sure to get someone out right away and he apologized again for his mistake. A couple days later he called to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns and to make sure everything was working correctly and that we were happy with the unit.. Of course we were and are, and everything has been working really well ever since! Overall, a very pleasant experience for such an unpleasant problem!
Description of Work: Did a diagnostic check on my old AC unit and attempted to fix, when it didn't work he replaced the unit all together.
