Vulcan Termite & Pest Control

The estimate process went very well. The estimator was knowledgeable, courteous and low pressure. As far as the treatment: they certainly spent the time and effort that you would think was required for the job; but I can't judge how well they did their job. Only time will tell.

Still waiting to see if all bees were destroyed. Were told there is no guarantee . Deck around screen was sprayed. This kind of service seems a little expensive for time it took to do job and amount of insecticide used and still no guarantee.

I haven't seen them in a while. I have been very pleased with them with the problem they solved. We have 2 attics and one of them is very small and we had other companies who didn't go inside it but they went inside it. They are easy to work with and they work on my schedule.

Vulcan representatives were very responsive and prompt. However, they did not present the contract to me until after the work was completed. The representative that did the treatment gave me an undated receipt and said the contract would be mailed to me. It arrived a few days later, but I was not exactly satisfied the wording or the length of the contract period. I wrote them a letter explaining my concerns. Within a couple of days from sending the letter, their represented hand delivered a letter of apology and a revised contract with an addendum that showed the work performed. I was impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to satisfy my concerns. I will definitely recommend them to others.

This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. When the first rep could not locate the source of the termite infestation (I have a Crawl Space). He called on the owner and the owner came out the next day. He was very courteous to my wife and located the source of the termites under my house. I was impressed because he wanted to make sure our termite issue was handled thoroughly. They were booked up for a week, but I set an appt for 10 days later. They were here at the appointed date and time promised. They did exactly what they promised. My wife had some concerns after the job was completed, and Mike showed up the next day just to make sure we were satisfied. (He drove two hours from Birmingham) . If you need pest control Vulcan is the way to go!

They were able to come on the day and time that I wanted. Very professional. I have had no problems with bugs since I started using them.

Called on December 10th, termite tech was at my house the same day to evaluate and inspect my home. Bought the contract for treatment(even though no termites found). Tech came back the next day to treat my home. Took him about 1 1/2 hours as he advised before he started his treatment. He also advised of the drilling he would be doing prior to starting. Very satisfied with the level of expertise the tech had. Also on the same day I called Vulcan, the pest control portion of the company visitied my home and treated it the same day. In my opinion this is excellent customer service. Same day service, you can not beat that anywhere. I will highly recommend this company to everyone...

Vulcan did an Excellent Job for us. Their service was top quality from the initial call to the tech coming on-site for the treatment !! We have setup ongoing quarterly service with them.

If they see a problem they will treat it right away. I have been using them for about twenty five years. They are very reliable and responsive. About ten years ago they had treated my home for termites, and I have not had a problem since then.

I have used them for years and am on a yearly contract with them. I use the same vendors all the time because I know them and I feel comfortable with them. They are very nice and are respectful of my home; they wear footies when they come into the house. I will use them again in the future.

I would rate them highly. I would use them again; in fact they are the ones who I am going to use when I build my next house.

Vulcan Termite and Pest Control are excellent. I have had a contract with them for years. They are professional. They are customer service oriented. I have not had any problems with them. Their price is reasonable. They are very, very nice.

They are excellent. I had a very bad problem when I bought this house but they cleared it up in about a month. There were a lot of issues but they took care of them. I would highly recommend them and I would even trust them to come into my house if I wasn't here.

Scheduled several pest control companies to come to my house for new bond on termites. This process was very time-consuming and I was very disappointed with the cost most of the companies offered. Fred came early one morning and offered me a great deal that I could not refuse. Not only did he offer me a price that was half of what his competitors offered, he was also offering a Repair Contract!!! Vulcan was the only company to offer this to me!! I had used Vulcan before at a previous address which is why I called them to begin with, but I had no idea of how great they were until I needed them at my current address. The gentleman that came and did all the work at our house was very professional and gave me a brief summary of the number of years he has worked with the company and explained to me that their turn-over rate is very low. I am not a single woman now, but when I was, I really needed professional people to come to my house. I hated feeling that it was best to have a neighbor with me when I needed repairs to the house or when I needed estimates on home repairs. However, I never felt uncomfortable with Vulcan or the people they sent to my address. Just wanted to include that information.

They are good and come here every year to inspect. Still comes and inspects.

They are great and are always on time. I would continue to use them in future.

We were pleased with our termite letter from this company. It was a requirement that our mortgage company needed. We have only used this company for five months but so far we are glad to report we have had no problematic issues or concerns. They seem to be a really good company to work with.

They only check for termites. There is no treatment involved unless there is a problem and there hasn’t been one.

On a year to year basis, they come out and do what they say they are going to do. One time they did find termites and they were able to kill them, but they missed a place where the wood had started to rot. I did find out about the rotted wood until another company was doing some remodeling work for me. I was disappointed to find the amount of damage and the fact that they did not bring it to my attention until they were caught. They did come back and completely retreat my house and they bore holes poured cement in the holes after the remodeling work was done. They also sent me a check for the cost of the repair work for the rotten wood. Overall, though I am a loyal customer and I will continue to use their services, especially since they did everything they could to make the situation right.

The people at Vulcan are nice and are very skilled to make sure that they know how to get the job done. I like that when they are finished they bring me a report of what they did or did not find in the house. They also explain all my options without trying to sell me other things I don't need.
