Mr Bugg's Pest Patrol Inc

I have been using Mr. Buggs for 3 years for pest control and have been very pleased. I was using another company for my yard, trugreen, and they were horrible. They basically killed my $10,000 lawn. I decided since the pest control was spot on, I would give the lawn service a try. I met with the gentleman and had a laundry list of concerns about my lawn. I waited patiently, because of all the rain, and sure enough he showed up in a timely manner and remembered everything I said and had a plan for it. It truly is great customer service with a feeling that you matter and are not just another dollar sign.

I called Mr. Bugg's, based on their Angie's List rating, on December 17, 2018. After taking my information, the woman who answered my call told me that a technician would be in touch within the next couple of days. It's now December 31, and no call. I plan to call another company.

They were very successful in controlling the ants. We have not seen any more

Called in a panic the morning I was leaving to go out of town, that my new townhouse we had just moved into had ants crawling all over kitchen counter. Needed someone to spray before I left town. Mr. Bugg was very accommodating and got someone out before I had to leave town that afternoon. Problem solved. No more ants.

Extremely easy to work with, professional and well priced service! I had an infestation and found them on Angie's list and they came out that day and took care of my issue!

Not normally home when they come for termites but for anything else, they are punctual and professional.

Mr. Buggs is very thorough and professional. Very easy to work with. They notify us ahead of time when they will be at our home, and they arrive on time.

Received prompt response via email where I was connected to a technician. The technician called me and we set up a date and time for him to come out. On the date and time he did not show up and no call was received from the technician. I will be seeking help from someone else.

I just went with Mr Bugg's. They were very good, a good experience with them, kind of worked with, they are our bug people. They were on time. They worked with me when I had some scheduling conflicts. They were very helpful. The guys who came out were really good. They took out all the specific things that I mentioned that had problems. They were really attentive to make sure they got it taken care of. As far as I can tell they just have like one lady that answers the phone and every time I call she has been very helpful and look through the schedule and gets back to me to see if she can find the right thing for me. I would probably give them 'A's all around. I don't know anything that I was dissatisfied with. I am planning to use them again.

So far they're fine. They gave me the same deal I'd gotten before.

The technician was on time and courteous. He made sure to ask about kids and where they tended to play. We saw a definite reduction in the amount of pests in and around the home.

Did a great job, no bugs seen alive since then.

He had an emergency, canceled, and never called me back. Their treatment worked out well. I wish some one would follow up with me.

We just moved into our home in late July. The home is 7 years old and in a densely wooded setting with very little grass. We were very dismayed by all the spiders and scorpions. spiders were mainly outside, but they were everywhere and huge. Grass, Garden, Fishing spiders and some type of very large light brown bodied orb weaver with an abdomen that crunches when stepped on. It built a new web nightly anytime you destroyed the old web. Sends chills up my spine... The scorpions were inside and outside, under potted plants, on the porch, terrace...coming out at night... disturbing. I had house guests who did not even want to step foot outside to enjoy the outdoor spaces at night because of the spiders and scorpions... neither did we!!!! You could not even go outside at night without a LARGE spider dropping down from above in your face or hair or a scorpion come crawling across the slate floor... literally. I read in the paper and on line forums that you have to control spiders and scorpions differently than other common household insects since they don't groom themselves like other bugs...like roaches for example. Spiders and scorpions have to actually make direct contact with the poison to die. Rain can wash away spray applications so you need a multi-pronged attack plan. The Mr. Buggs tech said he applied 2X more of the product for this initial application of spray and granules outside. I supplemented what Mr. Buggs applied by purchasing several cans of spider killer containing Pyrethrin for direct spraying of new webs. I am still finding new dead scorpions and other bugs on a daily basis on the inside and outside of my home, even with the temps starting to get colder. This tells me the application is still working. I did go ahead and get on a quarterly pest control plan with Mr. Buggs. Both the appointment scheduler (who was very responsive, professional and pleasant) and technician told me they will come out and reapply if I need them to at no additional charge. I tend to be very proactive, so that is why I felt the need to take on the supplemental spider spraying when I see them in the woods within 100 feet of my home rather than calling Mr. Buggs everytime I see a spider in a web. I had piece of mind after Mr. Buggs launched the attack on my garden pests and helped me sleep better at night.

It went well. Essentially, he did what he said he was going to do.

I have been having a problem with squirrels in my attic. I read the positive reviews about this company on this site, and decided to give them a call. They were responsive and led me to believe this was a job they could handle. They showed up on time and to credit of the 2 technicians, they listened to my problem and tried to find where the squirrels were getting in the attic. This included walking on the roof and looking in the attic. However, they were unable to solve my problem. The employees I spoke with at Mr. Bugg's were all polite, and while they may do some things well I cannot recommend their animal removal services. It seemed to me that the gentlemen that came to my home did not have much experience with animal removal. For this reason, I am not happy to pay $45 for a professional pest removal company who could not remove my pests. Not only was I out the money and time, but I still had to call another company and deal with the problem. I will look elsewhere for my pest control needs in the future.

They are a good company except their pricing structure. They charge $75 for a 3 months service and schedule one service visit, if you want more within that 3 months time period you have to call, so in effect if you don't call for additional visits then you are paying $75 for 1 service call, which is twice as high as other pest control services.

Great experience, very responsive and came back out twice for resprays at no cost. Quite pleased with the service so far!

We were using another pest control for several years, but there came a time when we had some kind of tiny bug that seemed to migrate to the livingroom where we watched TV. I caught a couple and set them aside until our pest man came by. He did not know what they were or where they came from. He put traps under the couch but the problem never stopped. I called Mr Bugg because of a special that they were running and Mitch Jones was very nice. I contacted their office 05/18 and he had someone out to our house on 5/25. The gentleman that came out was very nice. When I showed him the bugs, he told me just what they were and we were able to rid our home. Oh Happy Day! The price that I stated was for a year, just thought that I would throw that in!

In the beginning, we had a large infestation of roaches. They worked with us, and really worked the house (particularly the kitchen) for several months until all the large roaches were gone. Now, it is rare that I see a roach at all inside my house. If I do, it is a baby roach. If I see one, I call and they come spray the next day. But like I say, that is rare.

They are very prompt. They are a good service and they provide quality service. They are on time.

Mr. Bugg's Pest Patrol had the termite bond on our house when we bought it. We've since had them install the Sentricon bait stations around our house. This has a quarterly inspection fee, but gives us peace of mind in regards to termites. I've typically done the regular bug spraying myself using a concoction I purchase from Lowe's. This year, maybe due to an unusually warm winter, I could not get rid of the ants and spiders. It was a losing battle. Then when we excavated the yard to build a garage the ground beatles moved in. It was the last straw. I called Mr. Buggs for professional help. They sent someone out the same day. Ken was very neat and professional. He treated all around the house and even took great care because I was concerned about my cats who roam the back porch and yard. The treatment seemed to do the trick because the bugs that I see now are already dead. A good bug is a dead bug. We've signed up for a quarterly program to prevent further problems. I've had nothing but good experiences with this company and would highly recommend them to others. And the fact they are located in Pelham does not prevent them from servicing areas north of Birmingham.

They are specialist in parasite and termite control. We don't have any bugs or termites. The cost is a little higher, but their warranty is good. We don't call them, they call us. We are on their schedule to come every so often, so they call us to schedule the appointment. They always arrive in the time they say they will. I have a contract with them for years to come.
