Professional in every sense of the word; appearance, equipment, behavior, attitude, work ethic. Sometimes first impressions tell all and that was the case with Motivated Movers. When I saw their equipment, how they were dressed and the way they presented themselves I knew it was going to be a good experience and I was not disappointed. They said they would arrive at 9:30 a.m. and they were there at exactly 9:30. They inventoried, packaged, loaded, drove 80 miles, unloaded and pulled out of my driveway at 5:00 p.m. Nothing missing, nothing damaged and they did everything we asked without hesitation. Unlike my last moving experience, they did not damage the house we were leaving or the one we were moving in to. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to friends or family. When they left after doing the job, my husband told them it might be the best money we ever spent. They were on time, very professional, polite and as careful with our things as we had hoped they would be. What a great job they did. I changed my mind on a couple of things and they had to move them a couple of times. No problem at all. I got a 5% discount for Angie's List. We plan to use them again when we move to another state in a few months.

The office staff was helpful when I called to get an initial estimate. A manager came out the same day to finalize the quote and explained the details of how the move would work. The 2 trucks and 6 movers arrived on time and were courteous from the start. Six movers ended up being more than necessary since we moved a few things ourselves. However, by having so many movers, our truck was loaded and ready to go in 2 hours. Barry, our crew leader, worked hard to get all our items onto one truck to save us money. He also took great care with our furniture using moving pads, dollies and tie-downs whenever needed. The unload went slower, but they only had 3 guys, since the other truck wasn't needed. All the guys were patient as we moved and re-moved furniture within the rooms. They helped us set up the beds, too. Every guy on the crew was respectful, friendly and very pleasant. I hope we don't have to move again, but if we do, we'll be calling them.

The office personnel were attentative and helpful. I received a call a couple of days prior to the move confirming the details. On the morning of the move, one of the work crew called me to clarify directions. They arrived on time, with 2 trucks, and 5 workers. They were careful, paid attention to details, and did not waste time. Crowley, the foreman for the move, kept me informed of each step in the process. The crew worked well together and showed respect to each other and us. Great job!

They arrived when scheduled, sized up the situation and immediately went to work. Their work ethic was impressive and their attitude was always helpful and positive. They worked very quickly but were also quite careful. Their experience in moving heavy and large items was obvious in the way they coordinated their efforts. Ours was a big job that took a long time, but they never slowed down and their positive attitude never decreased. Delivery the following day was an equally positive experience. They showed amazing hustle but with great care for our possessions. We were very impressed with our team and would recommend Motivated Movers wholeheartedly.

What a professional, polite and talented crew. We're retired military and we know moves. This was one of the finest moves we've ever had. Furniture was moved expertly, protected and packed. We had 0% damages. The guys were prepared with all the necessary materials and tools. Highly recommended.

They were everything they were cracked up to be. Professional, responsive, polite, and motivated. Overall very positive experience.

We found them on Angie's List. 4 people came out, and it took them 13 hours. They are very polite, they introduced themselves, and they were super nice. The one complaint that I had, was that they don't mark the boxes very well. We had boxes that marked what room, that I used a check mark. There were 4 large boxes in my computer room, and they were marked miscellaneous. If I want to find my computer, I would like to know where it is. They only marked the dining room fragile, and they did not put it like this is your china, or this is something else. I would come across 5 boxes, and there was nothing on them. They just took one hour lunch break, and no other breaks the whole day. They ran, and they worked like troopers. They were awesome workers, and they had a lot to do. My husband was not here, and he had done nothing in the basement, no sorting and nothing. There were some heavy things that I wanted in the back of the truck and they were very courteous about making sure it got on the back of the truck. That stuff was all great. We are not unpacked yet, so I don't know what everything looks like on the inside. I thought the price was very reasonable for what they had to do, and they were very punctual.

They are excellent. It was wonderful. They were very thorough. They're quick. They do not dillydally. They get there, they get it done and not a scratch was on anything.

They were very organized and professional. The move took half the time I anticipated - saving me money.

This guys are amazing! From the time they arrived to the time they left the driveway of my new home, they were hustling. They moved me from a 3rd floor apartment and were running up and down the stairs. They were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend them for any residential move. I've moved a LOT in the last 20 years of my life, and these folks were by far, the best. They were fast and careful.

They were courteous, punctual, careful, and considerate from my first phone call to arrange a quote until they had unloaded and pulled away.

From the moment I called them, I was impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. The movers showed up on time and immediately got to work. If they weren't carrying something, they were literally running back to get something to carry. The three-man crew worked fast and efficiently. Before I knew it, my old house was emptied and the truck was on it's way to the new house. Just like they did before, they immediately got to work and had my new house furnished in no time. While they were fast, they were also very careful. NOTHING was damaged by them, or if it was I haven't found it yet. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and would recommend them to anyone.

The estimate for my move was 8 hours but the 3 man crew really hustled and completed our move in about 5 hours. The only charge I paid was the hourly rate, there were no extra charges at all. I have used other movers that always add other fees but not this company. The guys did a great job and I would definitely recommend them and use them again in future.

On time, worked quickly, very pleasant, and were done. It wasn't complicated - we needed some guys to load some furniture onto a trailer that we were taking out of town. They had the best price for a flat rate.

We used them in November to move our old house into storage. They were on time, professional and extremely careful with our valuables. Today we moved into our new house and had the same great experience. On time, very careful, and professional. I have used almost every moving company in town. They are by far the best overall. Answer when you call, call to confirm appointments, and their crews are clean professional movers.

Although they were slightly higher, they were well worth the difference. Highly recommended.

The movers were very professional, friendly, and willing to listen to our suggestions regarding where and how we wanted items packed into the unit. Would definitely use again.

They used two crews and two trucks to get us moved with as little fuss as possible. Had our original house loaded by lunch and then had them unloaded at the new house by 4:00. Couldn't ask for a better group of guys.

The guys that moved us were really good. They never stopped working that whole time that they were there. Very careful with our furniture loading, packing and unloading. They made sure that everything was set back up where my wife wanted it. In summary, excellent, excellent, excellent! Good jobs guys!

Packed everything staged it for displacement to 3 separate locations. Brought in additional assistance to facilitate my time restraints. Super guys! They worked through lunch and I could not get them hardly to take breaks. I have moved as an adult over 10 yrs. This move was by far the best. Good show!

Mitch, Eric and Jared were awesome. It was a long day and they were professional and courteous!! They bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. We will definitely use them again-DEFINITELY!!

The price that was quoted at the end of the move, they tried to increase this price because they said they did not know I was moving to an apartment on the second floor. However, that information was given to them at the time we set up the move.

All crew members were polite. They called to confirm and showed up on time. They weren't the most organized. The put the rugs on the back of the truck, so all of the furniture had to be unloaded, placed in the house out of the drizzle, then moved again to place the rugs. It seemed like a lot of wasted time, and there were times I was very frustrated with the lack of forethought. We had already moved 90% of the breakables, but the one mirror they moved was broken during transport. They have offered to pay for replacement. Lastly, the new granite top on a long piece of furniture was broken by the movers. They lifted the furniture at the stone, which split. They readily admitted the mistake and say they will pay for the replacement. They have been in contact with my fabricator, but the stone has yet to be replaced. Hoping that will happen soon I had used another very expensive company earlier and was disappointed that they did not acknowledge damage they had caused nor offer to remedy any damage after it was pointed out and emails were sent. At least this company has been honest and offered to replace the damage. They are fine for routine moves, but not sure they are suited for large or complicated moves, or moving fragile items.
