Description of Work: They moved a one bedroom apartment. The guys showed up promptly and immediately went to work. No hassle, just a job well done.

Description of Work: They met my expectations. They showed up early on a Saturday, which was nice, and were very careful with my belongings. They were very efficient in their work, which ultimately translated into saved money. My only complaint was in the billing. They charge a 3% service fee if you pay by credit card or debit card and also do not accept personal checks, which means that unless you want to pay the 3% service fee you have to pay in cash. I chose to pay in cash. However, the drivers don't carry company cash, so since I did not have exact change I ended up paying a few dollars extra. It's not a big deal from a cost standpoint, but if they're going to charge a service fee for debit and credit card use, they should either allow for personal checks or have some way for accounting for the fact the exact cash amount will not be known until the job is complete and therefore have a way to either return over-payment or produce change on the spot. My complaint is more about the principle of it all, overall I feel it was a good value for the service provided.

Description of Work: Moved five rooms of furniture across town. All went well and they were very hard workers.

Description of Work: Mitch and Eric moved a house full of furniture to a storage facility in Pelham. They were very professional, courteous and friendly. They worked very hard, were very careful with the items they were moving and managed to pack a full truck load into a 10' x 15' storage unit which saved us from having to rent an additional unit. They completed the move in approx 4 hrs time which was impressive in my opinion. We will use this company again when we relocate for sure.. Based on our experience I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They moved me into another house. We had lived there for 37 years and the day was really hot, but they worked really hard and only stopped for lunch. They were very business like and polite. I would definitely use them again. |They arrived when they said they would and stayed until they were done.

Description of Work: Arrived on time. Honest and hard-working group of three young men. Carefully secured and moved our goods (four bedroom house) in about 7 hours. Although it was not critical, their office failed to tell the crew to bring any empty boxes, so we did not get to use their packing services. I would definitely use Motivated Movers again. These young workers really should make more use of dollies and save their spines for the future.
