Dad's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

The job itself went very well and I am pleased. They turned out to be exactly as they said they would. Not looking brand new but definitely have the luster back and no longer are dull. Never received a call back to schedule an appointment for an estimate, theyjust showed up one day. Also never received a return phone call on the estimate to have the kitchen floors done. I had to call back twice. They told me they are inthe process of training new front office staff. They did do a great job though so I would use them again.

They were very professional, on time, and they did not try to sell me any products. He explained to me exactly what they were going to do, what they could offer, and went over all of the pricing before he began the service. They are certified. They are wonderful! I can't say enough great things about them!

The office called to say they were on the way. The employee introduced himself and inspected the areas to be cleaned with us. Told us exactly what he was going to do. There was one spot that might be difficult to clean but the other spots should be no problem. Told us how long it would take...it actually took about an hour longer. The results were excellent and everything was put back just as it was. We are VERY pleased.

I've used this company in the past and have always been pleased with their work. They were easy to deal with from the very first phone call through the whole process. On time and very professional. As far as I'm concerned, there is no other carpet cleaner in Birmingham that I want to deal with when Dad's is so good.

Dealing with Dad's was a pleasant experience. They are very nice as well as professional. And they get the job done! You couldn't have two tougher jobs to accomplish than described above, and they were successful at both.

Four rooms were cleaned and even bad spots were removed. The service person was very good at what he did and I would highly recommend them to someone else.

It was the first time I had used them. They did a great job. They were very nice. They explained everything to me. They do give you a supply of their spot cleaner for up to a year.

Very. They called about 30 minutes before arriving and completed the work within the time frame they had given. They explained in detail the work they were going to do and the charges for each step. Polite and friendly.

They did a great job. They were in and out, and they did what we asked. The workers were great. They were very easy to get along with. They did a good job.

Great work and very professional. These guys really seemed to know what they were doing. I tried to use them again last year, but they had a backlog and could not get me in when I needed. I will say they were more expensive than the others, but with a new baby coming, I was looking for quality. My advice, book early otherwise you will not able to schedule when you need it.

Prior to confirming the job, I had spoken with Dad's Carpeting by phone and gotten all the details as to services, prices, and quality of work they provide.I liked that they offered different plans so you could choose which was best for you. They also sent an email copy of each plan and the written copy was helpful. The service person arrived on time and did an excellent job. He even got up old spots which I thought would not come out. I would highly recommend this company and plan on using them again. Very professional!

A friend referred them to me. They show up when they are supposed to. They offer a program where they will come back and treat any additional spills in 6 months or a year. These are not necessarily things they didn't get the first time but subsequent things. They leave a spot cleaning solution that you can dab on small things or pretreat before they come back. They do packages that can include tile and grout cleaning in combination with carpet, or upholstery in combination with carpet, so you can get a discount.

Cleaner performed duties and proceeded to tear up my lawn upon exiting the premises. Did not return emails or phone calls after I emailed them photos of the damage. Would never recommend or use this company again. Be aware, after they get your money, they quit caring.

Dad's picked up my rug, cleaned it within a week and returned it to me for $350.00. The rug stank to high heaven when they took it, but looked and smelled brand new when they brought it back.. They were courteous and helpful, and even made suggestions about how to spot clean my other rugs and kitchen floor. Great folks, I would definately use them again.

Technician arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and did an outstanding job.

Came out same day. On time and professional. Cleaned carpet in a playroom. Did an excellent job, getting up stains that I thought might be permanent. They moved furniture and I was suprised and pleased that when they put the furniture back in place, they placed small pieces of plastic or styrofoam under the wooden legs of the chairs, tables & sofa to protect legs from dampness of freshly cleaned carpet. Extrememly pleased. Definitely a good value & will use again.

In preparation for listing my home for sale, I needed to have the carpet cleaned to get ready for showing. I called Dad's based on their high rating on Angie's List. The woman who answered my call was very professional and extremely helpful. She gave me estimates and different options and told me their different plans. She set up an appointment for me within a few days time. The carpet rep that was assigned to clean my carpet called me prior to arriving to give me an approximate time he would be there. He was there on the button at 8:45 AM. (I was scheduled between 8:30 & 9:00 AM). The carpet rep explained everything he was doing, measured the rooms and even gave me an upgrade on my service because the square footage turned out to be a bit less than the amount the package I had selected would cover. He went over all the steps of the process with me in detail and made sure I understood everything and was in agreement. He was very professional and courteous. He even left me a bottle of spot treatment for free. When I came home later, the carpet looked like new. There were no stains to begin with, but I did have some traffic patterns and they came up beautifully.

Dad's Carpet arrived on time. I showed Mike the areas that I wanted cleaned, which included several pet stains. He measured what needed cleaning and then explained their process, giving me options of what I would prefer to do. He did a great job. Most of the pet stains came up and the deodorizing smelled wonderful and clean. I will certainly use them again! Very pleased!

There was a little confusion as to the address but once the arrived the work was done professionally and with in the time and price quoted.

I called to inquiry about an estimate. The man on the phone was really nice and have me an estimate on the phone. They were able to schedule for the next day (which was great since we had the cat urine issue). They had 3 different plans to choose from with different levels of service. I went with the middle plan. It took him about 3 hours. He wasn't able to get all the stains out of the rocker, so he only charged me half price! It took about 3-4 days for the cat urine smell to come out of the carpet. But now I can't smell a thing! And I was very happy with the carpets; there were no stains on the carpet! The carpets took about 24 hours to dry completely but only about 4 hours to dry enough to walk on it.

I was not impressed with them at all. They were not able to get the spots out all. They were all talk and very little performance. They were on time and friendly and everything, but the quality of the work was terrible.
