Kelly did an excellent job evaluating and explaining what was going on with our HVAC unit. I especially appreciated Kelly taking the time to educate my husband and I on our HVAC unit and system. He was super professional and personable. We will definitely call him again in the future.

They are incredible, 5 stars all the way. They are very professional, quick service, you can call them in the evening and they are there the next morning. Overall they are just extremely good to do business with.

His only downfall is communication. He had to order both parts and did not keep me informed of when he would be back to install them. HOWEVER, that said, his work was beyond reproach. He got in and got out! He's an expert. He only charged me for labor and what a bargain that was!!! Thank you, Kelly.

This story is from last summer, but I'm still giving referrals a year later. My home condenser unit was less than 2 years old and wasn't operating or cooling properly. I had service performed by another company that changed parts, charged the freon and still couldn't repair the cooling issue or keep the fan operating. I was advised to replace the compressor at the least, possibly even the entire condenser. I called Cleghorn for a second opinion. The technician discovered that the unit had been overcharged with freon and only needed the coils clean. What I was afraid would be a several thousand dollar repair turned out to cost less than $100. I have had no further issues and couldn't be more pleased. I manage an apartment community and we now contract Cleghorn for repairs that are beyond the expertise of our onsite technicians. Great company!

I will never ever call Cleghorn ever again. Business is business. If I'm not that important to him, Bell Heating and Air Conditioning sure thought I was! They fixed my problem without delay!

I left a message for Mr. Cleghorn on a Wednesday afternoon. He returned my call later that evening, got all of my information and said that they would try to get to my house on Thursday afternoon. He stated that if they couldn't get there Thursday afternoon, then they would be here Friday for certain. I waited at home Thursday afternoon and all day Friday, and they never showed up or called.

They were at my home from 10 am to 8 pm and worked nonstop. The gentlemen are knowledgeable and polite and they loved out cats and dogs:) I wish they would have installed our new Central system several years ago and we would not have a problem. We had been dealing with another local AC repair that possibly burned the compressor on Memorial Day weekend by mixing freon with R22 or something I am not knowledgeable about. Thanks for all you have done and all of you are extremely professional and confident with your work. We will continue to use your service for yearly maintenance, service and to order filters. We also used the Angie's List coupon and saved $649. I chose Cleghorn for the 8 positive reviews on Angie's List and the reputation they have locally. We had a bad experience with 3 visits from the other repair company since Memorial Day weekend.

Our AC unit went out on a Sunday, and when we had out of state house guest. We went on Angie's list to find a repair man. The first one we saw was Cleghorn. We read the reviews and called him. He answered right away, and told us he would be at our house within 2 hours. We were VERY happy to have found some one on a Sunday. He came within 1 hour, and it fixed with in 15minutes and DID NOT charge us extra for a weekend call! He had to come back in a few days to put a clip on the new part, and did not charge us an extra call charge. He was very nice and professional. We have found our new Heating and Cooling company!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone in this area!

Kelly Cleghorn is real good. I have been using them for twelve years. He is very professional. He is an honest and fair man. He won't do something just to make a dollar. He does what needs to be done and what is necessary. I have another in town that I am going to be moving into soon. I left the key between the doors, of course, there is nothing in the house so far, and just told him to fix it and let me know what I owe him. That is how honest he is. I would not use anybody else. He is very good with his punctuality. If he cannot make it, within a reasonable time, he will call you and say, and ldquo;I got tied up here, and this is more than I thought it would be. I will be there first thing in the morning.and rdquo; If he tells you he is going to be there first thing in the morning, you better get up, because he is going to be there first thing in the morning. I would recommend him without a doubt and I have.

Cleghorn is the name of the person that owns the business. They did excellent work. I had central air before. I spent about ten or eleven thousand dollars because they put in 2 units. They responded to my call immediately. They came out and gave me an estimate and gave me the date that they could put the system in. Their work force was here on that day. I had 6 to 8 workers out here that morning. They jumped on it, knocked it out, and put in the system and made sure it was working on one end of the house before they left that day. They came back the next morning and put the other system in. They did excellent work and got on it and got it completed. I was very satisfied with their work. They were very good. The gentleman that owns the company stands behind his workers and his product. If I had any problems, he gave me his cell phone number and all I had to do was call him.

MR CLEGHORN reported that the system was in excellent working condition. All the reading taken and cleaning of the outside as well as under the house inspection were good. He reminded me that my part to keeping the unit working was simply replacing the air filters once a month. He also reminded me that CLEGHORN HEATING and AC as a courtsey would upon request and AT THEIR COST would deliver a box of filters to our home when our supply ran out. My wife and I would highly recommend CLEGHORN HEATING and AC TO ALL OUR FAMILY and FRIENDS...

We bought a second home in Pell City, Alabama more than 20 years ago and the house only had a window A/C which was not able to do the job. I had known Kelly from years before working with his dad. We needed a central A/C Heating unit since we planed on living in the home year round. I called Cleghorn (Kelly) and he gave me an estimate. The job consisted of installing a central A/C Heating unit (heat Pump), all all duct work. Kelly did a great job and the unit is still going strong.

This being a new unit there was not anything wrong. Everything Kelly Cleghorn told us about this unit was realized through the course of this past year. Our electric bill DID go down and the heat lowered the bill as well. We have yet to see an electric bill of $200. If you are considering getting a new central ac unit I highly recommend ClEGHORN HVAC SERVICES IN ANNISTON, AL 256-310-1256. I'll keep posting followups as warranted.

My wife and I spent 3 weeks having 4 companies giving us estimates to replace our central ac and wether or not to go with a heat pump. Kelley Cleghorn was the 2nd estimate. He showed up promptly and asked us questions, looked around where he had to work. Gave us all the options with the different systems. The unit we got was the one he was using in his own house. I wanted reliability and prompt servicing if needed. He told me he stocked almost all the parts to our unit, he recommended yearly service calls and REPLACING THE AIR FILTER EVERY month. He told us the unit also qualified for the tax credit over 2 years of $1500. Kelly was the only one when he showed up he put on protective overalls before going under the house so as to not bring dirt into the house. We learned later a friend from church has used Kelly on several occassions installing ac into her house and her rental properties. On install day he did the job in a half day. The other property door was locked so he brought the crew to our house. My wife and I felt comfortable with Kelly from our first visit and hope we only now see him once a year. I will follow up with product quality and servicing calls. We highly recommend Mr Kelly Cleghorn, he has been in this business for 23 years.
