When I had the counter tops redone, I had to schedule a plumber to come in the following day. He came in on time, the quote was lower, and he did it for less than estimated, $200 instead of the $250 estimate. He recommended Delta faucets over the phone when I called him and I got them before he came over. He told me he works fast. He did four sinks and I appreciated all the information up front as I needed other work done and he made recommendations on other people. He rates highly and I will continue to use him.

He called back the next morning. He was already in the neighborhood on another call and was at out house in about an hour. He fixed both problems in a short period of time and was very courteous and professional.

He is just the best. His price is good. He will have my husband to do something to save us money, which is good. He is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. His price seemed fair. I would use them in the future.

I called John Michael Plumbing due to his rave reviews on Angies List. John arrived the next morning at 8:30 ( actually he was a few minutes early--impressive!) and began his work. A large mat was laid out on the floor in front of the kitchen sink cabinets to protect the area.John had a tool bag that was very organized and every tool he needed was at his finger tips.He quickly removed the old faucet and cleaned the old caulk and film from the area on the sink so that it would have a fresh clean area for install. John noticed an old piece of Polybutylene pipe still in use under the sink and removed it. He installed the new faucet and water filtration system effortlessly. He was able install the spigot for the water filter in the hole where an old air gap had been installed. I was pleased he did not need to drill a new hole which would have taken up space on the sink back. John had everything installed and cleaned up in one hour. He tested the water flow and flushed the air out of the lines and inspeced for any leaks. The job was done perfectly and I was very satisfied. J\ohn was so personable, professional and efficient. I made a 100% correct decision hiring John Michael Plumbing and when we get ready for any other plumbing needs he will be the only person we call. I hope he stays in the Huntsville area forever.

Thoroughly professional. Fast worker. Corrected current problem and prevented two other developing problems. Cleaned up after work was done. On site only a little over an hour. We were happy with the work and pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable bill. Highly recommend.

John scheduled the work for an agreed upon time and was very prompt on his arrival. We started with the water heater first where I described how the relief valve appeared to have developed a slight leak, perhaps the result of my triggering of the valve a couple of times a year to keep the line clean. John agreed with the possible issue, but was good to check the water pressure for my house, as we tend to be high in our area. I noticed while he was doing this, he tightened a leaky spout I had on the outside of the house. Obviously, he was one who paid attention to detail, which is good.Upon removal of the water heater valve, he showed how my opening of the valve had allowed buildup to occur that created the small leak, as expected. He replaced the valve quickly and checked for leaks. Problem solved. Next, he worked with the toilet where he discovered that the not only was the toilet's bolts not tight to the floor but also the gasket and seals were completely broken. He removed all of the previous materials, replaced with new, and connected the toilet back into its proper location. He even sited the bad (recalled) water line connection and replaced it, as they were known to develop pin-hole leaks. Everything was sealed and connected tightly, no leaks. Another problem solved. Finally, he switched out a shower head in our guest bathroom. We had obtained one that was more water efficient and had an extension rod. Although he was willing to put the rod in for us, he suggested that unless height was an issue that we avoid the rod due to a history of leaking. We took the suggestion. The shower head was replaced and all the work was complete in little over 1 hour. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, explained the reasons behind my plumbing issues very clearly after looking into them, and then promptly fixed them each in a very professional manner. I have a high degree of confidence in the work that he performed. The cost was very acceptable. The over-all experience was significantly better than I have had with past plumbers. I would strongly recommend John Michael Plumbing as I plan to obtain his services for any future plumbing needs that I may have. Great job!

This was a rental house we have. When we called them, they answered right away and made an appointment with the tenant to come to the home and give us an estimate. They suggested that we consider replacing the parts and the brand to go with and where to get them. When they installed the plumbing fixtures, they were prompt, wasted no time, and did a great job.

John showed up early, found the problem, and repaired it within a half hour. It was a coupling nut that had come loose. It had apparently been loose for quite some time. He also killed a Black Widow spider while he was under the house making the repairs. He had quoted me and hourly rate of $85 + parts, which I found quite reasonable. Since he found and fixed the problem so quickly, he only charged me for 1/2 hour. Since I felt he was giving me a substantial break, I rounded it up to $50 and still got a very good deal. I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him.

Of at least 4 different plumbing companies I have hired in Huntsville, John Michael Plumbing LLC is the best. This firm provides quality work in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. Mr. Michael arrived on time, was very professional, upbeat and cheerful. He provided high quality advice as to the most durable and best hardware to use. When one component (the tub faucet) that I had previously purchased was discovered to have the improper configuration for the existing plumbing, Mr. Michael gave me his recommendation for two possible new parts I could buy, called an order into a plumbing parts supplier and continued to work on other hardware installations while I went to select between the two recommended brands from the supplier. After I purchased the brand I desired, I returned to find Michael steadily working. He pointed out a place where he could correct a previously improperly installed upstairs tub drain line gasket that tended to leak. He noted how the visible caulking on a replaced gasket had been done improperly (i.e. properly installed, there should have been no caulking on the new gasket). I saw and understood how his installation of a new upstairs drain line would be a superior solution to the poorly-done previous plumbing job I had paid to have done a few years ago. Every item Mr. Michael worked on was installed properly in a timely fashion. At my request, he also removed a leaking 190 degree F water heater under the kitchen sink. He also cleared a slow draining toilet in a very efficient manner. I could tell that Mr. Michael enjoys his job and he takes pride in a job well done. His final invoice submitted to me right after his work was completed was significantly lower than a previous quote I had obtained from another plumbing company. From quality workmanship to the price for the work done, I would give Mr. Michael an A+. Although A+ is not a grade category available on Angieslist, I would give this top grade to Mr. Michael if it were an available choice for the grades listed above.

John is a superior plumber and a very pleasant person. He does meticulous and thorough work. My husband was impressed that John had excellent equipment that made the job go fast. John arrived exactly at the time scheduled. After he finished the job, he cleaned up the area before he left. I asked for estimates for more extensive plumbing work and he had many suggestions to bring the 55+ year old house up to Code. I was greatly pleased with John and his professionalism.

John was on time, under budget and great to deal with - did I mention excellent work? (he even fixed a previous plumbers shoddy work!). Can't wait to finish our bonus room w/bath next year - he'll be doing the work for sure!
