John Michael Plumbing LLCwas very friendly. He answered any questions we had, he was happy to answer. We seem to have a good rapport with him. We were very pleased with him. We got him off your list and because of some other review we used them.

Arrived at house, heard our plea, reviewed the situation, repaired the faucets.

While trying to repair a leak in an upstairs shower, I sheared off the fixture in the wall behind the tile. As a result, I couldn't turn my water back on and, being a work night, I needed help fast. I went to the local big box store and purchased a Delta shower faucet fixture and head to replace my 17 year old Delta that had just destroyed. After consulting with Angie's List, I called John Michael Plumbing at 8:05 am on a Friday morning and left a message regarding my dilemma. Within 5 minutes, John Michael returned my call. After listening to my problem, John Michael advised that he had appointments scheduled for the day already, but would make a couple of calls and see if he could fit me in for his first job. He called back within a couple of minutes and told me he would be at my home in 15 minutes. John Michael arrived around 8:45am and went to work in the shower. He was able to remove the old fixture from the front (without having to cut a large access hole in the wall behind shower fixture) by making the hole in the tile a bit larger. He sweated the fittings and installed the new Delta fixture. He then finished the installation of the fixture and shower head. He was finished in about an hour and a half. I had water and a new shower fixture! John Michael was extremely professional and his charge was very reasonable. I've already recommended his services to my neighbor! I will definitely call him again if (or when) I need the services of an outstanding, trustworthy plumber. Thanks John!

No response to two messages left on his answering machine--messages left on Thursday and then again on Friday.

Although I had to make two phone calls to get in touch with John, after the second message, he called back immediately and apologized for the delay, stating he had been very busy working on several projects. Because I had called John in the past to ask about a plumbing issue, and his response at that time was prompt, I felt that it was truly an oversight that he didn't return my first call. John is always professional by phone and in person. John stopped by the house and gave us an estimate to remove our old leaking water heater located in our closet. We inquired about the possibility of moving the water heater to the garage and the additional cost involved to install in a new location. We felt that the price was fair. The new water heater looks great in the garage. They left our wood floors clean and were careful not to scratch our floor or walls while working in narrow spaces. We would highly recommend John MIchael Plumbing.

He did all of this work within 2 hours and was very courteous. I was impressed by the speed and quality of the work.

the whole project went very well. I found John Michael Plumbing on Angies List. I had called another plumber that we had used in the past but he was unable to be here when we needed him. In the end I was so please with John Michael that I was glad that the other plumber was unable to make it. I have been having a lot of trouble with the tiolet in the master bathroom for a long time. It just wouldn't flush properly. The tiolet I had in there before wouldn't flush properly either. That's why I got rid of it. Turns out according to John Michael, we have an offset flang in the master bath and there are tiolets made that are especially made for that. I did not know this and have been purchacing the wrong toilet for this offset flang. this is the first plumber that has ever pointed this out to me. He went and bought the toilet I needed and installed it in no time flat. He knew what he was doing for sure. The caulking around the tiolet even looks good and it flushes just like it is supposed to do. He told me that because it was the wrong toilet to begin with, that part of the bottom of the toilet was covering the flang so the opening wasn't big enough to let it flush like it was supposed to. We dicided to put the toilet he removed from the master bathroom to another bathroom since this toilet was only 6 months old. This meant uninstalling the second toilet. The flange in the second bathroom did not have an offset flange, thankfully so using the toilet from the master worked out great. John Michael was very nice and answered all my questions. I will certainally use him again, if I should need a plumber again. I highly recommend him.

John Michael arrived promptly and was very professional. He assessed the problems we were having and knew immediately what needed to be done. We had been losing water pressure as well as hot water. He obtained the required parts (Gas Hot Water Heater, Water Pressure Regulator, etc.) and repaired everything immediately. Everything was clean when the job was completed. I had a leak in the service line to my house. The leak was fixed in a timely manner by John.

Went very well. Showed up at appnt. time, was very nice and professional and quickly got me fixed up. I will definitely rec him to others and use him again if the need arises.

I called him on Monday and he came out as soon as he could. The water main that is at the house has a split in the fitting of the reducer. He repaired it quickly and all is well

I suspected we had a leak somewhere between our water meter and the main water valve in the crawl space, but there was no water pooling anywhere. Called John about 7:45 AM. He indicated we would be number 4 to be serviced, but he called about noon and was on his way. I had invisioned the yard being dug up to find the leak, but within a couple of minutes John figured out the leak was where the water line went through the foundation. He had it fixed and everything cleaned-up in less than an hour. He's clearly competent, efficient and very professional! From now on, he's our go-to plumber!,

He did an excellent job. At a reasonable price. We had a bathroom remodle and he handled going from a built in whirlpool tub to a stand alone easily. Cleaned up his work area completely. We will have him back next time we need a plumber.

Mr. Michael scheduled and performed an estimate for the above mentioned work within one week of my call. He was the third plumber we had contacted for an estimate and during his inspection of what was already in place he noticed problems the other plumbers had missed. Mr. Michael was thorough in his inspection and fully explained the "whys" and "hows" of every recommendation he made. We chose to hire Mr. Michael for the work due to how he conducted himself professionally and personally, the price he quoted for the work, and the astute nature of his inspection. We scheduled an install date of the upcoming Friday, but due to an emergency situation Mr. Michael needed to reschedule the work for the next Tuesday. Mr. Michael's communication was excellent and we were kept up-to-date on his progress through the day and we were given the requested 30 minutes notice. Mr. Michael worked diligently and despite a few small "surprises" that arose (due to the previous poor quality of workmanship) Mr. Michael did not charge us any more than what he quoted, citing that his quote is his quote. The two other plumbers quoted us $125 per shower drain that we thought were clogged (and they agreed were clogged,) but Mr. Michael looked at both and told us that neither were clogged, but the strainer was too small for the water flow. Removing the strainer immediately resolved the "clogging" problem. Mr. Michael exceeded any concept of honesty, integrity, and quality that we had. He was respectful of our home, our time, and our budget. We will gladly use Mr. Michael for all of our future plumbing needs and we will highly recommend him to everyone.

John Michael is prompt, professional, and very reliable. He does good work. His price is very reasonable. I would definitely use him again in the future if needed.

They were a amazing! We have been dealing with low water pressure for some time. My husband was under the impression that it may have been due to a kinked or compressed mainline into the house. I started calling around to find out when I could have someone come out and look at the issue. Other plumbers would not give me an idea of how much money I would be paying. One went as far as to say that it would be 600 minimum just to come out! When I called John Michael Plumbing, the first thing I was told was to talk to the city to ensure that there was sufficient pressure coming into the house. There was no reason to come out if they could not help me. Otherwise, it was most likely due to a faulty pressure regulator (a 100.00 part). I called the city and was assured that it was indeed most likely the regulator. I then make an appointment to have them come out and replace. Due to the fact that when our house was built, there was not a standard place to put the regulator, it did take some time to find. This did increase the price of the bill to a larger amount than I had originally thought it would be (several hundred dollars more - hence the "B" versus "A" on pricing). However, they were complete including replacing the dirt in both areas where they dug. They were thorough, and fully explained all the things done. I was nothing but impressed. Best of all, I can now actually use my bathtub and not have to wait 2 hours for it to fill!!!!! I would highly recommend using them again.

I contacted John based on his rating here on Angie's List. Called him and made an appointment for the following week. He said he'd be at my house around 8:30am - knock on the door at 8:10am (better than punctual). I walked him around to the faucets that needed work and told him what was wrong. We had already purchased the parts needed from a local plumbing supply place, so I had those ready to go. He went to his truck for tools, including a new "toy" he bought for the stripped set screw in my kitchen sink (hooray for gadgets). Quickly removed the stuck handle and replaced parts. I then mentioned the dishwasher vent that always leaked onto the counter and he said he could replace the hose quickly, which he did. Moved on to bathroom and had parts swapped out and done nearly before I knew it. Wiped down the work areas and left them clean. No other messes - checked his shoes every time he came inside; had a big box of industrial strength paper towels with him at all times to wipe down counters/showers/etc. Before he left, I asked him about one other potential issue, and he gave me some advice on how to deal with it (already had the part for that ready to go too). Overall, very satisfied and will use him again for plumbing issues.
