BIG COVE DECORATING

Completely dropped the ball. Three times. And cost me significant money in doing so. I would avoid. I am getting my home ready to sell, and have been given three dates of install from Big Cove Decorators, all of which were weeks out and none of which were kept. I had scheduled a photographer to come take photos of the house after the most recent commitment, and only after calling them both two days and one day prior to the install and not getting a response, did I finally get through and was told that they would have to reschedule again. This will cost me a canceled photography fee, and will keep me from getting my house on the market. I will be finding someone else from now on.

I called Big Cove at the recommendation of a friend that had used them. I was interested in a quote for hardwood flooring throughout my house. The first time I called I got an answering machine and I left a message for them to call me back. No return call was received and so after 2 days I called them a second time. I got someone that time and she said she would have someone call me to set up a time to come to my house to measure for the estimate. It took 2 or 3 days for someone to call me back. She was late for the appointment but did call. She did the estimate and said it would take her 3 days to compile the quote. After 3 weeks and no word I had to call them for the quote. When they emailed it to me finally they did not include the stairs in the estimate. I had to email them back and ask for that. In their estimate the square footage was not included and I emailed and asked for that and they never responded back. I would have thought the square footage would have been included in the original quote so it could be determined how much they were estimating per square foot. The estimation was $15K so it was not going to be some small job?

Big Cove Decorating did an outstanding job on our kitchen backsplash. The backsplash is an exquisite work of art that covers three walls. The design and materials (stone and cast tiles) are simply beautiful. The installer’s craftsmanship and attention to detail are exceptional. This backsplash creates warmth and timeless beauty in our remodeled kitchen. You may have to wait a little longer than you’d like between the sale and actual installation of your project but it is well worth the wait. Big Cove Decorating provides some of the finest design and tile work we’ve seen.

Big Cove Decorating did the living room while we were still living in the house. They had a sander vacuum that kept the stuff out of the house. The polycrylic, a floor finish that they applied was gorgeous. It looked like new. They were very fastidious. They kept it clean as they worked. They were very professional people who didn't make marks on the walls or didn't do anything off that. I wouldn't have even dreamed that I could have a floor sanded without anymore disruption to my life and being in the same house. I couldn't possibly get anything better than what they did. The fact that at some point, I'm going to have floors done in my new house. I will use them in the future.

Same as before. I had 4 businesses come and measure and give me quotes, but Big Cove measured and then never called back, even when I called them and left messages. This seems very unreliable to me.

The job went very well , the installers showed up when expected and were professional. The flooring was exactly as seen in the stores showroom and we were very happy with the overall job.

They were very competitively priced. A couple of tiles broke in shipment and they replaced them.
