PETTIE TREE EXPERTS

I usually do not write reviews as I am usually not quick to express my positive opinions, BUT this time I can. We had lightening to strike 3 trees and jump to a fourth. Our situation is different that a typical yard. We have a bed and breakfast and the trees were in our courtyard area. When we met with Petti Tree Experts, John was very concerned with the amount of flowers, shrubs, gas fire logs, stone walkways, etc. A lot of things to get damaged from the removal. He assured us that he would provide every necessary thing to remove the trees with as little damage as possible. On the day of removal, he was here with his crew at the set time. He had called ahead to have electricity guys here to remove lines and they were here on time as well. He also had a huge crane delivered at the correct time. All things went as planned for. They removed three huge trees and portions of the 4th. His crew was diligent in removing all limbs, leaves, trash etc. that fell. As I watched...the cutting man was very careful and attentive to his situation. A very dangerous one at that! When the trees were removed, everyone worked to make sure that everything was picked up and removed from the property. Swept with a rake and not a single track from the crane or equipment was left behind. Although I didn't schedule guests for that evening, I could have as you could not even tell they had been here. A VERY good job! Oh and he told us at our first meeting that he could not grind the stumps because of a nearby underground gas line, stone walkway and close shrubbery. It had the possibility to tear up multiple things. So we opted to cut the stumps off about head high and we have made the cutest little birdhouses out of them with a roof, windows, trim and everything. Our guests love them! Natural Garden art!

Good until I saw that he had not been fully honest about the remaining stump.

We called Pettie Tree Experts after a storm broke some limbs off an oak tree in our church yard. He said he would be there to remove the tree within 2 weeks. His crew was here within that time frame. They removed the tree, used a stump grinder to remove the stump, filled in the hole with chips and then put top soil over the area where the tree was removed. Other than the bald spot in the grass which is to be expected you cannot tell that a tree was there. We are very pleased with their work and would use them again if the need arises.
