Mr. Todd Dale was quick to respond to our call, which was great. He assembled a team of Mexican roofers-- and they were FABULOUS! They showed up promptly 3 days in a row and worked sun up to sun down-- rarely stopping despite the incredible heat. Mr. Dale, however, was rarely coming to check on things. At this time, Ttown repair persons were required to obtain a permit prior to starting work. Mr. Dale didn't ever get a permit-- I should have seen this red flag and asked to stop until permitting was in place. Mr. Dale subcontracted to bring a pair or gutter repair persons-- watching them, I'm not sure they had ever done the job before. They were pitiful! These guys watched the Mexicans-- said it was too hot to work after only 2 hours on the gutter job and left. They came back the next day to finish up the job. My husband was keeping an eye on the work (since Mr. Todd was not there to oversee for himself). All seemed acceptable but we had to leave town just as the gutter folks were putting up last downspout. These guys put up a downspout that only went 1/2 to ground! When it rains, water pours down from the 1/2 downspout. It is washing away dirt from the house, potentially going to weaken a basement wall right at this area. We've tired numerous times to reach Mr. Todd to simply ask that he get someone to the house to properly install a full length downspout. I can not recommend T&L's Home Improvement based on these unsatisfactory situations. My guess is that Mr. Dale took on too much and lost oversight of his commitments. Interestingly, when paid he gave us a stack of business cards and encouraged us to post positive report on Angie's List. Next stop for me... the Better Business Bureau.
