Description of Work: Jeremy saved our outdoor project! Our original contractor left the job he was doing for us in a mess. Jeremy undid the contractor's shoddy work, salvaged all the materials, worked with our architect, and constructed our deck with pergola and screened in porch. His workmanship is wonderful. His attention to detail is unsurpassed. He did not perform general remodeling for us. But, if I have that need, he will be the one I call. We have recommended him to our friends. Description of Work: We hired another contractor. His work was awful, not complete, and he never came back. Jeremy Sparks was recommended to us. He worked with our architect who designed our pergola and screened porch. The first thing Jeremy had to do was dismantle the incorrectly constructed partial deck. He salvaged 99% of the wood, which was wonderful because we had already given the first contractor money to purchase it. He built two structures for us, both attached to the back of our home. The pergola's deck wraps around to our back door so that you step out onto the deck floor. It is 18' x 18', not including the wraparound. The other structure is a screened porch (18' x 19') with a metal roof, which Jeremy also installed. The architect's design called for beadboard on the ceiling of the screened porch. Jeremy reused the salvaged decking to design the ceiling in an angular way which meets in the center and has trim boards covering the seams. He also removed/replaced the double door connecting the house and the porch. He is very professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. He does quality work. He added some trim work to the columns on the pergola using his own design. Our experience was very positive. We recommend him highly.

Description of Work: An architect designed a deck with a pergola and a screened room for our back yard. Both structures were to be attached to the back of our house. The screened room would be an extension of our den and the deck would be off our back door. Jeremy Sparks owns Sparks Handyman Service & Construction. He brought in several men to help him with the projects. The deck is 16' x 16'. The screened room is 18' x 19'. The slab was poured by someone else. The screened room has a metal roof, which Jeremy and his men installed. The french doors leading onto the porch were replaced by Jeremy with a Pella sliding door.
