He is very good. He did a very good job and was very reasonable. They were here when they said they would be and finished in a relatively short time. I was pleased with the price.
Description of Work: I used Sanford Service Co for a total kitchen remodel.

Terry always showed up on time, and did his work professionally. He is not a salesman and tells you the truth. He does not try to sell you a bill of goods just to make a profit. All of the jobs that he has preformed for me he called before he came and never was late. He answer his cell phone when you call and has always been respectful. For an all aroud handyman he is great.
Description of Work: I have had Terry do many jobs for me in the past and never had a problem with any of the repairs that he has done. The first job he did for me was to recharge the coolent for an a/c unit $100. The next job was two years later to replace the same 15 year old a/c with a rheem and the total cost was $1800. He then came over and fixed my electrical panel because the lights kept going out when i would turn my stove on, during that repair I asked him to fix a broken attic fan belt, both jobs cost me $175. I aslo had him replace my kitchen counter top which he charged $300.

The shower pan under our ceramic tile was leaking. We contacted Wheat's for the ceramic replacement and were referred to Sanford Service Company by Wheat's (a company we've had 100% wonderful dealings with over the past 15 years). Mr. Sanford was very quick to respond and give us an estimate of $1,760.00 for the repair. He asked me if I'd like him to replace the shower handles because they were mismatched - I said that would be great. This company was very professional and finished the work in the shower in about 2 1/2 hours. They were very good about cleaning up also. Mr. Sanford told me that he couldn't replace the ceiling until the shower tile had been installed but would come back in a week to do the work. He charged me $1,400.00 and said he would collect the rest when he came back. This was an insurance claim and I was told to get an itemized bill from Mr. Sanford. He emailed me about four lines - one which stated that he charged $240.00 to replace the shower handles! I was stunned as my husband has replaced the stems and handles for approximately $10.00. Then, our shower head started leaking - I had to put a bucket under it so the cement shower floor could dry. I notified Mr. Sanford of this - he stated that he would repair the shower handles and work on the ceiling. He said he would be here at 7:30 a.m. on June 10th. He never showed up after I took a day off of work without pay. My husband called him and he said that he was sick and meant to call us. I called him about 5 days later and he hasn't returned my call. My husband fixed the leaking handle. I cannot find anyone to repair the celing for the $240.00 that he deducted from his original quote. To top it all off - my insurance company said that we were overcharged and so far (without the ceiling repair) and the insurance company only covered half of the repair work. I have contacted Wheat's and told them that they shouldn't recommend this contractor any more. I feel that Mr. Sanford never intended to repair the ceiling because it wasn't worth his time to make another $240 especially after being paid $1,400 for 2 1/2 hours work and less than $100 worth of materials. I talked with Mr. Sanford and he told me that he would reimburse me $450.00 - it's been two weeks since this promise and we haven't heard anything. DO NOT USE THEM AS THEY OVERCHARGE AND NEGLECT TO FOLLOW-UP
Description of Work: Replaced the drain and subfloor in our shower. Was suppose to resheetrock and repair the ceiling below the upstairs shower.
