Description of Work: Granite countertop installation. Randy is a nice guy and acts like your best friend, but there were issues. First of all, the original estimate was $3500 for the kitchen countertop installation with the promise of doing the laundry room with the remnants. We picked out the granite slab and again asked for the price but was never told the final number. The preliminary measuring was all good. The installation was one week late and when we finally had it installed, they did a rather poor job. The seams do not match well and the edge does not follow the cabinets correctly (even after cutting into the Sheetrock).... Even the appliances do not fit correctly. There are visible scratches in the surface of the granite and the overall job was just pitiful. Then I got the price....almost three times the original estimate ($8500) with the excuse that it was our fault because the granite was priced higher than the original samples. The bill was paid and he promised to do the laundry room cabinet for free when we were ready. Two months later I contacted him for the laundry room and he quoted me a price of $700 to install a remnant in the laundry room. I used someone else and had it installed for half the price. I would not use him again and can not recommend him.

 + -1 moreThe laying of the hardwood was done very good. The problem was two fold1. The workers were not very punctual. It took an extra day to get the job done because they did not show up to work as well as being called back in several times to fix problems. We waited one evening for them to show (according to store employee) but they never did.2. Although the floor was put down nicely, the followup trim work was unacceptable. They had to be called in several times to fix the problem and one is still iffy. Only after the owner came out was the problem fixed to our satisfaction Overall, the job was ok. The floors look very nice. I would probably use the company again, but with more concrete instructions at the onset of the project.
Description of Work: Hardwood laid in 3 rooms after old carpet taken up.
