The first time I contacted Roman, I was in the process of replacing peel and stick tile with Porcelain Tile in my Kitchen, Laundry, and Bathrooms. I also had him provide pricing for Hardwood floor installation. I scheduled for him to come out the day after I called him, he showed up on time, and he provided my quote within a couple of days. I ultimately decided to go with a different flooring installer because Roman charged a lot for prep work ($1500) to keep the house very clean and he also included in his quote the replacement of the shoe molding ($800) which the other installer reinstalled (rather than replaced) for significantly less, and I only had to touch up the paint. The other installer did not leave my house dirty, but I wouldn't say it was clean either. Roman's actual installation cost was very good, maybe slightly better than the installer I chose to go with. Ultimately, I still don't think it was worth $1500 to avoid having to clean up a bit of dust here and there. I would rate that experience an A, good enough to get me to ask him to do the quote below. My second experience with Roman did not go so well. I called him up and set up a time for him to come give me a quote for a much larger project that would include painting my whole house as well as installing a significant amount of hardwood flooring. The scope of this project was approximately $15,000. He was supposed to meet my Realtor and me at the house I had under contract at 5:30 pm, (both of us had traveled about 30 minutes one way to be there). At 5:35 pm, I called him and he had forgotten about the appointment and told me he was 10 minutes away. I asked him where he was and he told me a location that was at least 35 minutes from where the house was. Punctuality to me is very telling, so I told him not to bother showing up. I don't know what kind of work Roman does, but my experience with him the first time wasn't good enough to overcome his wasting at least an hour of mine and my realtor's time.
Description of Work: Had Roman provide a quote for flooring replacement at one house. Asked him to provide a flooring replacement and paint quote for work at a new house.

The workers were punctual and professional in their work and everything was completed on time.
Description of Work: Painted the majority of the house, including most of the front porch. Repaired several cracks in drywall, and some door frames. Installed new shower door in master bedroom. Replaced door knobs throughout house.
Roman was great to work with and he and his crew did an outstanding job. I can't assess cost, as this was all part of a larger contract and we did not contract directly with RB Custom. The results were all exceptional though. He made a number of helpful suggestions along the way too. All of his people were professional and pleasant too. We would definitely recommend RB Custom Creations!
Description of Work: Roman and his crew were subcontractors on a major home renovation over a few months. They did the painting, trim work, flooring, and ceiling panel work. Much of what we needed was very custom.

Roman Beregovsky, of RB Custom Creations, first covered all floors, even my cement porch, to protect them during the 4 day project. When a rainy day had him sawing tiles in my garage, he covered all the floors that he now had to cross from the garage, and made sure to hose down the garage floor when he was finished. Sawing the existing tile was a dusty job, and he did things to mitigate the mess: Completely tented the shower area and swept up every time he left The tile was discontinued, but he managed to come up with a nice design with the limited # of tiles available. His installation was above what was expected--carefully sloping the mud bed, laying the liner higher up the wall than the original install, adding additional layers of water proofing so "water will be afraid," as he put it. His tiles were perfectly laid and his design looks better than the original. The project took 4 days, as each step must dry, but Roman kept me updated on each step. He showed up when he said he would and called if he needed to be late. He is very personable, as well, so I felt comfortable having him in my house. A few weeks later, Roman returned to waterproof the grout. Not only did he do the shower, he also waterproofed the rest of the bathroom, and an upstairs bathroom, all at no charge!
Description of Work: Replaced the tile shower floor and 8 inches up the wall when a leak was discovered under the existing tiles. Cut existing tiles on three walls exactly straight, as we only had a limited number of the discontinued tiles to replace them. Demoed the floor. Pulled up the old, leaking liner, also called a pan. Designed a new lower wall and floor with tiles I obtained. Installed new liner, mud bed, water proofing. Kept my house as clean as humanly possible!
